It’s amazing to see all of you. Good morning, good morning. I just really want to see all of your faces. Hallo, hallo, hallo, it is so wonderful to be back. Hallo, Prosperity, it’s great to see you guys. Wow, it’s a privilege to be back home. First of all, Pastor John and Sharon, they send all of their love, all of their love, all of their love, all of their love. I want to tell you how much they love you; they miss you, they pray for you, they really, really miss you. Thank you for your prayers, for your love, for your giving and for your faithfulness. You made it possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you, hallelujah. You know, you need to understand a team went with Pastor John and Sharon, a team stayed with Pastor John and Sharon and what a team we are together. Praise the Lord.
Now Bertus, I know you want to hear about the wonderful things that happened on this trip and I really know all of you, but I also know your heart, but because your heart is like my heart, you don’t want to hear it from me. I know that you want to hear from Pastor John and Sharon, it is their privilege. So, sorry Bertus. Very soon, very, very soon to come in the Name of Jesus.
Now I want to say to you, I’m still going through Pastor Melusi and Pastor Garth’s messages. I praise God, for those messages and I know you too, powerful, powerful.
I wanted to highlight many of these things this morning, but once again, I’m very grateful in how specific God was with me in my preparation. The title of my message today is Put your foot in the message. Put your foot in the sound, the song and the praise.
Now, I know, I know, you know this, this is a House of Faith, we are a House of Prayer and we are a House of Praise. Hallelujah. So, I want to talk today, and I am in awe, I praise God in, in how He led me to flow today. I want to talk about sound and praise from a different angle this morning. Pastor John shared with us many times; Get ready to change. Now people that is not just a nice idea.
Let me put this here, the air flow is wonderful so, that doesn’t matter apologies for that it’s just wonderful to have the aircon. People get ready to change and it really means what it says – get ready and be willing to change. Why? Listen to this. If you and me are really willing to change, but with God’s leading, we will always be ready for what God has for our future. This is important. Pastor John shared with us, we are all individually and corporately in a process that must progress, that must move forward. So, please open your Bibles with me this morning to Luke chapter 14 verse 25, this morning.
Most of the scriptures and I will tell you, I’m going to read from the New King James, but there will be one or two that will come from the amplified. This is Jesus speaking and this is a serious Word, that He’s saying here to the multitudes verse 25 says, 25Now great multitudes went with Him (Jesus). And He turned (around) and He said to them, …. He said, verse 26, 26If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. So, Jesus is talking about discipleship. Verse 27, 27And whoever does not bear his cross and come, … very important word there, bear your cross, now that does not mean you can sit at home and do nothing. He says, “And come … and come after Me, he cannot be My disciple. 28For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it -. Verse twenty-nine, 29lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all ….and then everyone can see it and begin to mock him.
I want to skip a few verses and let’s read from verse 33, 33So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. (Luke 14:25-27, 33 NKJV) You know what? A few months ago, I heard someone say about our church, “Sjoe, this is a very strict church.” First of all, I was very sad, when I heard that statement because it shows the poor condition of believers overall. This is a church where Pastor John and Sharon are ministering the uncompromising Word of God, this is a church where we choose, you see there’s a choice, we choose to fear God first. When we hear the Word of God and we choose to obey, when we choose to obey, we choose to change, hallelujah.
So, you see, for many years’ believers, people go to church, they hear things in the church and I’m just mentioning a few here today. God talks about tithing, talks about money, go to church, don’t do church hopping, be in unity, don’t gossip, forgive, submit to God, submit to your spiritual leaders, where God is placing you. But then people sit there for 10, 20, 30 years and they do nothing. You know what, do you know that the average Christian does not think they must actually do anything with what they hear, and the Bible says, “Be a doer of the word.”
So, what a compliment actually, because children call their parents strict only if they know, they cannot get away with anything. How awesome. I think so much about Louwtjie and Zelda and their four kids and Pastor Garth and their kids and people that I really know, Leroux and Liezel and so many of you, that are strict with your children. You see the evidence in their lives, it’s a beautiful thing. So, we really praise God this morning.
So, when you come to Heritage of Faith and we nothing more special, we are just a people, who choose to obey the Word, that we hear. If you come here, you will find a people that will obey every message and then you can say we are strict church.
I must just share this with you I smiled, I smiled, I laughed, and I praise God. One of our members in our church, a powerful woman of God. She shared with me what happened to her; someone that she knows in Witbank said to her, “You know, one of these days, I want to come to your church and see what you do there.” She said, without really thinking about it, it came out of her heart. You know what she answered the person? She said, “No, no, no. You cannot come to our church, because if you come to our church, you have to obey the Word of God.” That’s massive. That’s massive. I praise God for her courage and her obedience to be honest. I know that God is using that powerfully in that person’s life.
Can I really ask you this, this morning? What will you do, if anyone tells you, “Listen, don’t come Sunday again? Don’t come to church. You don’t really want to hear from the Lord to change.” What do you think you will do? Pastor John said, “You must first be honest. You must first be honest, if you want to walk by faith.” I just praise God, because that is so true, and I praise God for her courage to actually help that person. Do you know how many believers must actually hear those words? “No, don’t come. Don’t come. You don’t actually want to hear the Word of God to obey it.
Back to Luke 14. Please just look at Luke 14 verse 26 again. This is a powerful passage of scripture. Jesus says, 26 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. (Luke 14:26 NKJV) Now, major crowds were following Jesus because of the miracles He performed. Many people come to church because they heard some things about Jesus, they are not yet fully obeying. Jesus is using this passage to define discipleship to His followers. Jesus is saying, “If anyone comes to Me, then they must leave all other attachments and commitments.”
Just think about that for a minute. That’s massive. That’s huge. It seems like a very hard statement; Jesus says hate. He says hate. You must leave your father, mother, wife, husband, children, brothers and sisters. Why? To be taught by Him. Jesus says, “If you’re going to learn from Me,” you have to make Jesus the most important person in your life. You cannot have any emotional attachments to someone or something, greater than your devotion to our Lord. So, that is something that we need to hear; to make choices to change all the time.
So, what is a disciple? A disciple is one who is teachable. You are willing to be trained in the Word of God and when that training comes, you will be changed. Listen to this; anytime that you are unwilling to be taught, you become unteachable. When you become unteachable, your process ends and you cannot advance into the future, that God has for you. I want you to understand this, because God has everything for us. Like Pastor Garth says, “On the Word, we build our lives.” On the Word we go through this new door. God doesn’t want us to be unteachable because then your process ends. No! He has everything for you and me. He wants us to advance with confidence and we’re going to talk about that today.
Pastor John shared with us, we are individually and corporately in a process to progress. You are growing personally. When you come to church, you bring your supply of the Spirit, because you grow personally, and you’re in the Word and you praise God and you’re in the sounds, you are growing, that when you come corporately to be together with everyone, and I thank God for that, because then you allow the army of the Lord, to be very strong. Do you think we can put a few people together, that are not strong in the Lord, taught by the Lord and now you want to put them in the army? What do you think they can do? But when you are being trained by the Lord and you make the choices individually, personally, then we see a very strong body of Christ, the Ecclesia, that has meetings on a Tuesday, just like Pastor Garth said. That is how we dominate, how we rule and reign in the Earth – individually and personally. Praise the Lord.
Why am I sharing this with you to start with today? Because we are a House of Faith. I want to say this today, because many of you are new here and there’s many people that have been planted here for years, but many of you are new here. We are a House of Faith, but it did not happen overnight. It did not happen overnight. Twenty years ago, and there’s much that I want to say about this and how much that I learned by just observing Pastor John. 20 Years ago, apostolically, Pastor John shut down all activities in this church because normally people come to church, to just look for a platform for their ministry. Pastor John says, “No.” This is what an apostle does. You start again. And how? On the Word of God.
Pastor John shut down everything, everything, everything – even the children’s church, because people were all over the place. He only started to minister the Word of God. Why do we call ourselves a Word of Faith? Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So, that is why we can call ourselves a House of Faith – because Pastor John started to minister the Word, and then, as the people started to grow in the Word, he started to start the children’s church, the prayer connect, Bible School started, and all the other things started to begin.
Like I’ve said, many of you are new with us and you have not yet learned, what it means to walk by faith. There is so much I want to say about faith today, because I can’t, I just have to give it to you like this. There’s many of you, and listen, we have never arrived. We are lifelong learners, but many of you don’t even know the basics of faith. You have to make a choice to become a disciple of Jesus, to be taught by Him. You have to make a choice to go to Bible school. You have to make a choice to be teachable. If you are not teachable, and you don’t even learn the basics of the Bible, the Word, the will of God, is His Word. Pastor John ministered so beautifully. People come to Pastor John and say, “What does God say about my life, to you?” They don’t even know the written Word, but they want the interpreted Word. It’s out of order. So, you have to make a choice to come to Bible School.
Then we are a House of Prayer. That did not happen overnight. Many of you must still learn to obey Jesus to come and pray on a Tuesday. Every success is a prayer success. Every failure is because there was no prayer. That’s personally and corporately. There are many things that will not develop in your and in my life if we are without the corporate anointing – if you stay at home. So, we must understand this; if you are not coming to Bible School and you are not coming to prayer connect, there’s a big part of God’s process that He has for you, that is currently not moving forward, but I just want to mention something very quickly; Prayer Connect first, then Bible School. You don’t decide that I go one evening to Bible School so I can skip Prayer Connect. No. The order is wrong. Prayer Connect first and then Bible School. This is very important.
So, I’m saying this, because there’s a process of so many of you here, that things are waiting for you in this New Door that God has for you, but it cannot move forward because Jesus is calling you and if you are not going to make this decision to come, nothing is going to change. Nothing is going to change. So, people, this is scriptural; when you become unteachable, you are ignorant in many areas of your life. Ignorant about the will of God.
So, let’s quickly see what God says about ignorance in Hosea 4:6. God doesn’t want this to continue in your life anymore. He says, “Come on. Change this thing.” Elmarie, just lift your hand that the people can see you. Just lift your hand, please. The reason I want to do this, and she’s one of many, there sits Sharron, she already did her fifth year in Bible School, but if you’re looking for Elmarie, do you know where you will find her? You will find her in the first-year class, listening to the Word again. That is a teachable spirit. That is a wise woman of God. That is so important. She decided, “I will not stay ignorant anymore,” and it is 5, 6 actually 7 years later, Elmarie? Praise the Lord.
Hosea 4:6, 6 My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, (Hosea 4:6 AMPC) I’ve said earlier today, you’ve got to make a choice to come. Many people only quote the first part of the sentence; My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge and they stop there. The Bible says because you rejected knowledge. The Bible School was under your nose every single day and you’re going to stand before Jesus in eternity and He’s going to say, listen, in eternity, God Himself, He is Love, He is Light, He is the Truth, but He lives by faith. Where do you get faith from? From the Word. From the Word. So, even if you don’t learn it here, you’re going to learn it up there, but Jesus is going to say, “My child, My child, the Bible School was right under your nose, every Monday and every Thursday, and this part of your life could not move forward, because you did not simply understand the written Word of God. How could I talk to you about My interpreted will concerning your life any further, because you rejected knowledge?”
Now, ignorance is the equivalent of being naive and very foolish. You stay foolish in those areas of your life. It means you are unwilling, right now, to receive or to understand the teaching that God has for you and it means you’re going to stay ignorant in your life. Now, people, I want to say to you today, that if you are in God’s message and you are in everything that God is bringing to you, that you will not be ignorant. We understand that, but, if you ignore God’s message, you will fall into ignorance. We just read Hosea 4:6; if you are ignorant, one by one the areas in your life, will start to perish and be destroyed. It’s very sure. There’s nothing strange about it. Being ignorant will cause you to be in a lack of perception and discernment for your life and it will result in a lack of success. When we refuse, listen to this, when we refuse knowledge and revelation, we refuse to grow and to mature. That’s what it means.
Now, many times the Apostle Paul, and I know you know it, many times in the New Testament, he used the words my brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant. He did it in Romans 11, he did it in 2 Corinthians 12, where he says, “I don’t want you to be ignorant about the spiritual gifts.” So important for us today. Ignorance is linked with disobedience, because God says, “If you are perishing because of a lack of knowledge, it is because you rejected knowledge.” I’m saying all of these things that we will not do it. That we will absolutely change and take what God has for us to go through this New Door.
Now, people, ignorance is no excuse. Pastor Sharon shared that with us many times. It’s usually a result coming from a hard heart, because you are unwilling to change. Now, I just quickly want to show you something. You are going to identify things today, what I’m going to say here, but you did not know in the past, we call them being ignorant, but it is very easy to identify ignorance.
Number one, the first stages of ignorance – you are very dull, you are lazy, and you are full of presumption. You have opinions about the Bible, without knowing what the Bible says. Now, do you understand today why God can allow me to say this? Because some of you who know my story, you know I qualified for all of these, but God saved me, and He is busy saving you. The Good News, the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation – to save you in your finances, to save you for the things around your children, to take you into the future.
Another word and another part to identify ignorance is procrastination. It means that you are putting things off, delaying doing things, thinking, “Later I will go to Bible School. One day, I will go and join them for Prayer Connect on a Tuesday.” Oh no. All of this ignorance is causing you to be passive and you will never advance, into the things that God has for you.
Another part and I’m almost done with that, about ignorance. This is a dangerous one people, when you think you know everything. Why must Pastor Garth talk again about this? After, Pastor Sharon explained, how you have to plough the heart, ah the ground in your hard heart? Why do they talk about this again; will a person like that ask. This part of ignorance shows that you have become unteachable. People this is very dangerous, if you are thinking God cannot do anything, anymore for you, outside the box of knowledge and opinions, that you have created. You’re in a dangerous place. It just means you are unteachable. This will lead you to be full of pride and it will position you for a very great fall. It’s dangerous, because you think you know it all and that you don’t have, actually to change. You are actually too grand to go to Bible School, you’re actually too grand to do this, because I know it all and that is very, very dangerous.
Yes, we are a House of Faith, we are a House of Prayer and we are a House of Praise. If you know in your heart today that you must still grow in these areas, then you have to make a decision to come. Come to learn, come to prayer connect, come to Bible School. Not one of us have arrived, we are lifelong learners, in the Name of Jesus.
The title of my message and God just gave me that to start with, but then I want to say to you today, when we landed on Wednesday; we had the privilege to go with Pastor John and Sharon, a few times in the past, but never, it never happened to me what happened this week and I knew from the second day it was just an absolute attack from the enemy. Up until last night I almost did not sleep and when God gave me what I’m going to share with you right now, the Lord said to me, “The enemy did not want you to minister this today.” Put your foot in the message, Put your foot in the sound, the song and the praise.
People, Pastor John taught us, and he shared so many times. He asked the question, “What is the benefit, that you and me, can be born again?” The answer is, to be spiritual. Then he immediately asked another question, “So, why is it so important that you can be spiritual?” To access everything from heaven that God has for us. So, people we put our foot in the message, because that is how God is leading us, step-by-step into the promised land. Those messaged form Pastor John and Sharon, they come straight from the Throne Room of God, straight. Then the Lord said to me and I am going to share this with you, He said to me, “Christi.” He showed me this a while ago and I knew this was coming, but He just gave me the download, in my preparation. He says, “Now as you put your foot in the message, I want you to put your foot in the song.” These songs that Pastor Garth is writing and let me show you why, God showed me that.
On September, it was September 27, you will remember Pastor Sharon received a Word from the Lord for Pastor Garth. She thought she would give it to him on that day privately, but the Lord said, “No, I want this public.” Then Pastor Sharon just interrupted herself, she says, but then God started me on that Wednesday, already. About her appointment that Pastor John appointed her, to music ministry. So, God added to Pastor Sharon’s portfolio, music ministry. The Lord said to Pastor Sharon, “I’m holding you responsible for the spirituality of the music in this ministry, not the technicality, but the spirituality of the music ministry.” The Lord said, “Pastor Sharon, I hold you personally responsible.”
Listen very, and this is already on the website, in our transcriptions available. He says, “Pastor Sharon I hold you responsible for the songs, the sounds, and the words.” Then the Lord said to Pastor Sharon, “You must work with Pastor Garth on songs.” Pastor Sharon did and then she said, “Why Lord? Why do I find myself with Pastor Garth, with new songs, new sounds coming out the whole time?”
Pastor John ministered at that time in 27 about, there’s no fences anymore. You will all remember that message. This is what the Lord said, “Because there is no more fences, anymore for Pastor John and Sharon.” God is expecting Pastor John and Sharon, to go out into the spiritual realm allotted to them, like never before. So, God said to Pastor Sharon, “You must work with Pastor Garth on songs.” Listen to this, “There is a sound I’m giving him. I want it out.” God said, “I’m pushing you, Pastor Sharon, you are in charge of song and it is your spiritual responsibility,” and she said, “Yes, Lord.”
So, this is the Word that God spoke over Pastor Garth. By divine assign, I put a sound. You see there are songs coming from the sound that God is putting in him. “By divine assign, I put a sound in this one. No explanation you need, only My Spirit, you heed. This sound must resound in the hearts of everyone,” says the Lord. Now I am grateful for God’s leading in my life, this is how He helped me from the very beginning. That was a word over Pastor and for Pastor Garth in his assignment, in his function, that he is so beautifully stepping up and into. But do you think my ears could miss that part? “This sound must resound in the hearts of everyone,” says the Lord.
So, I took note. I immediately knew the seriousness of what happened that day. Then Pastor Sharon started to pray in tongues and then this came out. “Pastor Garth, from your mother’s womb, I have called you with the sound that will now come forth, the sound. From this sound that will resound will come, My new sound, that I have placed in you from your mother’s womb will all other sound resound. Listen for this legacy, this transfer, this ancestry, this line. Divine. This line divine, for this legacy,” says the Lord. Amen.
How powerful is that? Now let me give to you why I’m saying all of this. So, the Lord showed me that it is very important to listen to these sounds, these songs that is coming from Pastor Garth. I knew it immediately. I read all these things to you today so that you can see God’s order here. Pastor John appointed Pastor Sharon. God said to Pastor Sharon, “You must work with Pastor Garth.” Now why must I say this today? To show you God’s order, because Satan is going to come again and again to you to say, “Yes, but these things are only happening because Pastor Garth is their natural son.” May you never listen to those lies. I don’t have to tell you today how much and how great the calling is on Pastor Garth’s life, but I am mentioning it here today, so that we can get the enemy out of the way.
Because these sounds God has given to Pastor John, it’s God’s will, that it must be in the hearts of everyone. So, the Lord said this to me, and people you can, it’s very good if you take one hand now and you hold onto you chair, because many of you are not going to like, what you going to hear now, because this is what God said to me. The Lord said to me, “Christi, when it comes to songs, you now don’t listen to any other music, no other songs, no gospel songs. You listen to this sound.” I said, “Yes Lord.” He says, “Don’t even listen to other gospel music on CD’s, because I know it sounds good”, and I’m going to share with you. I immediately knew what God was telling me. God opened up something for me that I wondered about for years in my personal life. People, for years and years, 27 years ago, when I started to hear the Word of faith, it was actually difficult for me to listen to other gospel music. Not because I thought they were bad, and they’re not this or that. I was so aware of the Word of God.
How can I listen to music, that is not just the Word of God? I’m going to tell you how God opened this whole thing up to me. In the past I could not really get myself to listen too many of, other bands and gospel songs, because living by faith, I was very sensitive to what they were singing. Since God gave Pastor John to give us Isaiah 60, I said to the Lord, “I’ve been waiting for that a long time,” because in my spirit, I understand it. Look in your Bibles at Isaiah 60 verse 17. God gave us the whole of Isaiah 60. People please pray that over your life every day. Pastor John already said that, but that is such an important passage of scripture for all of us. Many, many, many years, when Pastor John gave Isaiah 60, I remember, we were still in Pretoria and not even in Witbank, I would have pages of Isaiah 60, Isaiah 61, Isaiah 49.
I said to the Lord this, I’ve typed it on a typewriter, those years, and I would have it with me everywhere we would go, I’ve prayed those passages over my life, day in and day out. I never ever, at that stage, realized what revelation, it was bringing to me. Only later, to find out, like we know the Word creates, and what God opened up, because of those passages of scriptures. So, Isaiah 60 verse 17 says, 17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold, now this is personally and it’s corporately. But now I’m talking about sound. Instead of iron I will bring silver, instead of wood, bronze. (Isaiah 60:17 NKJV) I knew what was happening here.
In the past, we had to use what we could in the church. God had just to use, in all churches, just what He could. It was not gold, it was brass. Pastor John and Sharon, oh yes, God could only use what He could, but since God gave us Isaiah 60, to Pastor John, the Lord said to me, “The time has come that I can give you the gold.” Why? Pastor John and Sharon, in their walk with God, as spiritual leaders, gave God specific, and all the time obedience’s that God could bring them to a place, to now bring a gift, the gold. The gold.
I, fully understood why God instructed me to get all other sounds out of my life and only listen to that sound. Why? Let me ask you a question today, because I know what’s hitting you, here. Let me ask you a question. What do you think, when you look at a person that has a music gift? This person is planted, person is lawful. This person is living all in with God. This person is putting his foot in the message. This person is fully submitting to God and his own pastors? What do you think, can God do with such a person? Produce through such a person? Bring forth through such a person? Do you understand that the person planted and being lawful has a different sound to another musician that’s not planted and lawful? Can you understand why there are so many gospel music, and productions, and things, people are church hopping? Let me ask you on the other hand. What do you think God can do when He has a skillful musician, loving God, absolutely a believer, not planted, lawless, doing church hopping to see where’s the best platform for my gift?
So, there is lawlessness, not being planted. Do you think the same sound can be produced? You get brass. People, please understand today, God will use any and every believer as much as possible as He can, but if you are out of order, if you are not planted, if you are not lawful, a different sound will come out. Now please quickly understand it counts for a businessman, it counts for all callings. Just by the way.
A businessman planted, lawful, obeying the Word of God. What do you think a person like that can produce? But that’s just on the side here. Please understand, I’m using the words how God showed me to explain to you. That I knew immediately that I’m, and when God said it to me, I said, “Lord, I almost feel and hear the resistance of the people that will cry out, you must be joking me. You want to tell me I cannot listen to all my other gospel CD’s and all my other sounds?” People, I’ve learned many years ago, what I put in my heart, is what’s going to come out. If you want still to make the choice at this time, not to see what God brings to you, you are welcome to put others, well you understand, because you’ve got a choice, you are not really in my eyes welcome, but you are not going to.
What you put in your heart, is going to come out. You understand what I mean? You understand? But I know it’s hitting you guys this morning, so that’s very, very important. This is what God showed me again, “Christi when you say what God says, when you sing what God says,” listen to this; “These throne-room-sounds, will lead you from one point to the next, right through the New Door.”
I’m going to show you things about the sound today. I’m going to show you, that we’re going to have now victories that we have been waiting for years, because we have the gold. We have the gold. God wants the message in our hearts to come out of our mouths.
He wants the sound that He’s putting in Pastor Garth, that it will be in our hearts, and I’m going to show you how powerful it is. Pastor John, when he woke up that one morning, in that triumphant note, on Wednesday the 25th, a year ago, he said, “Our deliverance has come, we’re in a season now, we had to push to get to this point”. Do you see that the progress, is step by step from one point to another point? I am so glad that we could move from the different points, that we can be at the point now to receive the gold, to have the gold. So, I know personally that God gives messages and God gives me the sounds to move into the next thing that God has for me.
So, you must know, I know it personally, too. How we release and if we release, the sound that God is now giving us, will determine how quickly you will go from one point to the next. People this is, why this is so in my heart, not because I helped myself. If it wasn’t for the revelation of the Word, I would still be naïve and ignorant that I was, for a long time in my life. When God showed me that the messages coming from Pastor John, from this pulpit takes me from one point to another point, into another point, to inherit and to go into the promised land.
I saw very quickly, the Lord said to me, “Christi, how many times did you hear Bible Scholars say to you, “The Israelites going out of Egypt, moving into the promised land, should have been weeks, not forty years”. Why did it take forty years? Because there was a wrong sound in them. Even when the spies were sent out, ten of the twelve came back with not what God was saying. The two that came back, with what God was saying, they entered into. So, I know this for my life, that’s why I am so serious to receive the message that comes from this pulpit.
That’s why many years ago a person said to me; I’m talking about fifteen years ago. We had a person in the worship team here, that one day he came to me, and he was angry at me, he was angry at me. He said, “I heard you had a cup of tea with Pastor John”. He says, “You must be the blue-eyed girl, because I would like to have a cup of tea with God”. I said to that guy, I said, “Can I ask you one thing? Can you tell me, the last five Sundays what Pastor John said from that pulpit?”. He could not tell me. I said to him, “To have a cup of tea with Pastor John is a privilege, but let me tell you, I will fight to get the Word that he is ministering from the pulpit, because that is the thing that is saving my life. Not to sit and have and look to be around Pastor John and Sharon, as if this is the thing, you’re after”. I said to him, “Why do you say the things you’re saying?”
“I will fight you for that cd, so that I can listen to that word again. He is a gift unto gifts, not to drink tea with you. To bring the Word into your life unto salvation.” This is so powerful. This group that went with Pastor John is not because one is more special than the other. Get that thing out of you. Pastor John and Sharon is a gift unto every gift. Pastor Garth is a gift unto us as gifts, to bring us now a sound, and I am going to show you how God is lining us up to win victories now that we have been waiting for. In the Name of Jesus. That’s very important.
So, if you obey and you change, you go from point to point and you go through the New Door and you go into the things of God, quickly. If you allow other sounds, there will be a delay. You will wonder, you will wonder why it’s not working, and you will wonder between jobs, and you will wonder between things, because you don’t have what God is currently actually giving you. So, I have made my decision, like many years ago. When God shows me who Pastor John and Sharon are, personally and corporately, in my process, I take the Word of God, I listen to the message that God is bringing to me through the messenger, and now I have made my choice. I will put my foot in the sound, I will listen to these songs, I will praise God this way, because God has divinely put it in Pastor Garth.
Do you think the enemy came after Pastor Garth’s life for nothing? Do you really think the enemy just thought, “Let me just take him out?” It is because God knew that He would put a divine assign, a sound in this one, for the body of Christ for all of us. We love you Pastor Garth. We love you and Marcell and your family very much, and we are grateful Pastor Garth, that you are stepping up, so, so wonderfully, into all that God has for you. We love you dearly, and we thank God for a gift, unto gifts. We love you dearly.
So, people, why will I make my decision not to listen to other sounds, now? Can I tell you? That’s a big choice, because I will change to fit the legacy and not the legacy me. That is an ongoing choice, that’s happening in my life, and uhm, I am going to end with this, and this is going to help you a lot. You see, the victories that God has for us now, will come from what we put in our spirit. You see, when you have a personal relationship with God. It means that those things are in your spirit, because you talk to God on the basis of the message and everything that God shows you. Those things in your spirit, in your heart, will become, to come out of your mouth.
So, if you put in a different sound, if you are still reading other books from other places, if you’re going to continue to other sounds, then a different sound will come out of your mouth. I am going to show you today, then you are not going to have what it takes to have the victory, that God has for us. Now people, I quickly want to, and later on I will minister more on this in more detail. I just very quickly want your ear to hear what the Bible says about sound and then I’m going to read to you the prophecy that Pastor John gave about the music ministry here, and what God is doing through Pastor John.
First of all, sound, the Apostle John, just very, in a nutshell, saw a door standing open and people just first of all; this New Door that God has for us, Jesus is the door. Pastor John and Sharon are going to be ministering powerfully about this New Door.
John saw a door standing open in heaven and the voice, that he heard was like the sound of a trumpet. I’m going to show you what the Bible says about sound. 2 Samuel 5 verse 24, 24And it shall be… Thank you guys, if we can put that one up, 2 Samuel 5 verse 24, 24And it shall be, when you hear the sound… Listen to the Bible, all of a sudden, you know when God shows you something then you see it in the Word, you know, you know that by now.
24And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly. For then the Lord will go out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines. (2 Samuel 2:24 NKJV) There was a sound of the angels, the God’s army, that was ready to move. Now, in a nutshell I will talk more about this later. Twenty-nine years in David’s life, he was waiting for this victory. So, I can’t go into much detail, right now, but there came a sound, if it wasn’t for that sound, that victory could not come. He was waiting twenty-nine years for that victory. God is always leading us forth with sound, all of you are wonderful people coming to prayer connect where we pray for our city, Jeremiah 51:55. I did not ask them to put this up, but your ears will hear this. The noise of their voices, when we pray, there is a sound, it causes a noise of our voices, it is raised up, like the tramping of an army. Jeremiah 51:16, When He utters His voice, God, there is a sound, a tumult of waters in the heavens… (Jeremiah 51:16 AMPC)
Can you see what sound does? When we pray in tongues, there is a sound laying tracks. When we hear the voice of God in the messengers, there is a sound, that is producing faith. Joshua said, he said, “When you come with the sound of a shout, I’m giving you the city.” Not another sound, if you come with this sound. Listen to 1 Samuel 4:6, 6Now when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, “What does the sound of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews mean?” (1 Samuel 4:6 NKJV) I mean they actually said it, what does this sound mean, and then they knew the Ark was back and we will talk about that, 1 Kings 1:40 is where I’m going to start to end, where are you going to understand why we must put our foot in the message and why we must put our foot in the sound.
Og, I thank God for this verse. 1 Kings 1:40 says, 40And all the people went up after him; and the people played the flutes and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth seemed to split with their sound. (1 Kings 1:40 NKJV) What do you think must split in your personal life, because of the right sound? What do you think we are causing currently to split in our nation, because of the right sound? What do you think, we must still pray and say with this sound, so that things can split in Witbank, so the things can split, and the multitudes can come to know Jesus Christ? It is the right sound that can cause this to be. This is powerful.
So, listen to the word that Pastor John gave over the music ministry and I have asked them to put it on for you. It is in most of you, you will find it in your prayer file, if not, you can get it please just ask, because people this is good news, this is good news this morning.
Pastor John says, and now I know you have read this, but now that you know that God gives a sound, you are going to look at this very differently. Pastor John declared by the leading of God. “Songs of light, sounds of heaven. Father I speak according to your Holy Spirit right now and I command this music, I command the music that has come from this Heritage of Faith, the songs and the sounds that are coming out of this church, I command those words to go into the city, I command those words and the sounds to go into the nation, I command the words and the sounds and the songs to go in all the nation of the world and I command the sounds and the songs and the words of this music to begin to draw people right here in Witbank to draw them to Jesus, to draw them into the intimacy of the Holy One, I command these words to do the job in the city right now and I say, words go forth in the name of Jesus, I command those words to break down strongholds in this nation and in this city and in this region Father, I command these words to be a sound of heaven in every city Father, the sound of heaven will be heard, the sound of heaven will be heard by the people, the people of the city, the people of Johannesburg, the people of Lenasia, the people of this country, the people of the nations. This sound will be heard.
I must just quickly say this. Grobbies did not know about this word, I witnessed something in America and I actually did not tell him this, I was just moved. Everywhere where we got, because we sowed this Walking in the Light album, this first, the first fruits to brother Jerry. Grobbies could not stop, every single time he would come to me and he said to me, “Christi, I went, and I bought more CD’s”, he did not know about this. He says, “I went, and I bought more CD’s” and he was just handing it out to all the Chariots of Light people, when he gets to that church, then I said, “What are you doing Grobbies?” “No, I’m going to buy more CD’s.” He was just handing CD’s like I have never been seen before, without him knowing, he knew in his spirit what actually what was happening here.
Then Pastor John through the Lord said, And I will draw people to Jesus those who have not yet met Jesus. Father let this be a part of what will draw them that they will come to the sound, that they will hear in this atmosphere, there will be a sound that they will hear in their hearts. There will be a sound that they will hear in their ears, there will be a reaction to this music that will cause them to fall down and now it is including all of us, and to repent and to give their lives to Jesus, to turn from their old ways and to come into the new ways of Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
I pray Father, that the sound, the sound and the songs of this music would begin to permeate in the people of Heritage of Faith and then where it’s going Father in this nation, it will begin to permeate in the nation of the world Father. Listen, I declare Lord that many healings will now take place. Many emotional changes will happen. People will give up their old ways and come into the new, depression will leave, oppression will leave. I declare Father that people will see the light and freedom in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare that these songs will be songs of light that they will go out into the world and penetrate the darkness of the human mind. It will penetrate the darkness of the soul that is turned to against God, and for us and out there it will penetrate the darkness of depression and oppression. It will penetrate the darkness of all kinds of manner sickness and diseases. It will penetrate the darkness of poverty. It will penetrate the darkness of religious spirits all kinds all ways of men that have turned against God will go forth and accomplish that what which why you have sent the sound Father, hallelujah. I declare it this morning says Pastor John under the inspiration and under the prophetic mantle of the Word of God and this will be so in Jesus name, it will be so in Jesus Name.
Now, I really mean it. I know we listen to Brother Copeland and you know what the one session was Brother Copeland was three hours and forty minutes. He can preach, we know him to be like that, but I really end with this.
Please open your bibles to Second Chronicles 20 this morning. Why, why did I have to say all of these things, that I shared with you this morning? Because, as we put our foot in the message and we now choose not to listen to other sounds, but we are going to put our foot in this sound and song and praise.
This is the story in second Chronicles 20, where verse one says, 1It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them beside the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat. Verse 2 says, and 2Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you…. Now in verse twenty and I’m not going to go there this is where we quote this, what is so powerful in the Bible. Believe what the prophets are saying, and you will prosper. But what happened here is, where I want to take you is to verse 20 and 21. Second Chronicles 20 verse 20 and 21. To have this victory Jehoshaphat and Judah the people with them, they went out with praise, and God sent ambushes against the people that came about them. So, my question to you today is, “We have a New Door that we are going through, we are going to have victories now that we have waited for years. What are you going to do now, if you have the wrong sound in your Spirit Man?”
You understand why I am giving you this layout today the way I’m giving it to you? Look what the people did with Tehillah praises in verse 20So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem,… uhm this is verse 20, 20…be established; believe His prophets and you shall prosper.” Why do you think we speak the prophetic word and declare the prophetic word every time Pastor John gives a prophetic word, Pastor Sharon gives us a prophetic word from God, or they tell us immediately, when brother Jerry brought the he a word for the year 2020?
Verse 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise in the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army. They did not go out with guns; they went out with Tehillah praises. Praising God, they went out before the army and they were saying: “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endures forever.” Look at verse twenty-two, 22Now when they began to sing, you and I have to begin to sing, and if this sound is not going to come out of us, God will not be able to set ambushes. Can you see what’s happening here? 22Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. (2 Chronicles 2: 1-2,20-22 NKJV)
I praise God, today, I praise God today. If you are willing to change, if I am willing to change, God has everything for us. Don’t stay ignorant, come to Prayer Connect, be obedient to Jesus. Come, bring your supply of the Spirit, we have to rule and reign, as the Ecclesia with the messages coming from this pulpit. With the sound that God is putting divinely in Pastor Garth, we going to take it personally, we are going to take it corporately and we are going to split. We are going to split and open and destroy what the enemy wanted to do against this nation. Listen, we already celebrate what God has done, but now God is going to do the greater, because He is giving us the gold. What a wonderful time, what a wonderful thing is happening to all of us. We’ve got choices to make, we’ve got to change according to the Word that God is bringing us, and we just praise God today. We just praise God today. Oh, God is so good, and He is so faithful.
So, people I bless you today I bless you, and ah, I know, I know you have to go and do what I did, I’ve got one CD in my car, and listen, more is coming. We hear and God is just divinely putting it in Pastor Garth, more is coming and when there’s a second CD, that one will be in my car as well.
That’s what I sing, that is with the messages, that’s what I meditate on, that sound is coming in me, that sound is coming in me, the sound of the messages, the words are coming out of my mouth. People we are taking this land, we are taking this city, now victories personally like never before. And we all say, Amen.
Father, I just bless You, in the Name of Jesus. Thank You, Father for Your supernatural favour for us. First of all, Lord, thank You for Your Word, thank You for what you are doing and thank You that in every area, Spirit, Soul, Body, the Word of God, in music, in everything that You have got for us Father, You are giving us the gold. Father, we hold the Blood of Jesus over all of us, Your Blood has the power to set everything right. The Blood surrounds us, the Blood protects us. Father, our confidence is in You. You are keeping our foot from being caught in a trap or some hidden danger. Father and we praise You today, for Your ministering angels around us, ministering our safety, ministering our day of deliverance, ministering our marvels and wonders, that will go beyond 2019, and ministering, Father, Your leading in our lives, as we will with praise and the Word, Father, go before the armies of the enemy and have complete victory today, this week, this year, this New Door and year, that’s coming Father, like never before. We love You Lord, we praise You, thank You for giving us the gold, Lord, we love You, You are so faithful, and we all say, Amen
