Big and Bold Part 2 – Ps John and Sharon Bendixen (WTB)

Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:21-25, 31-34 (TPT); Ephesians 3:9-12 (TPT); 2 Corinthians 6:16-18 (TPT); 2 Corinthians 7:1 (TPT)

Pastor John:
Hello, everybody, welcome today. Wow, what a great time it is to be together to enjoy the Word together, to fellowship through the person of the Holy Spirit. The wonderful thing about any kind of platform talking about the Word of God is that the Holy Spirit is everywhere. And wherever you are now watching this, if you’re with someone else, if you’re at home, if you’re travelling, if you’re doing whatever because of the circumstances in the earth at the moment; welcome to the presence of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Word of God that changes your life. Isn’t that amazing, Sharon, that we can just be in the presence of God?

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right

Pastor John:
Even if it’s across whatever platform, the Holy Spirit is always there.

Pastor Sharon:
Yes, He’s everywhere, and in us and everywhere, it’s awesome and the Word of God is powerful.

Pastor John:
Powerful, yes. Amen. So we prayed beforehand, and we are in agreement that the anointing of God will reach you, touch you, come upon you as you listen to this message. We trust and believe by faith that the words that we speak that are anointed by the Holy Spirit have the power to change you inwardly and transform and change your future. So if you’re in agreement with that we can proceed with the message today. And so I’m just going to start off and then Pastor Sharon and I, we’re going to share the message in the moment with you today.

I want to just say something that’s quite spectacular and start off our conversation this way. Every moment a child is born on the earth, a moment of eternity happens. And that happening changes everything in the future. That’s quite amazing, hey? Sharon, I mean, the fact is that every human being that is born is born with a spirit, with a soul in a body. And they’re born with gifts and callings and talents that God is intended to be used to change the way that the earth and things happen on the earth.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right.

Pastor John:
So every time a child is born eternity changes, an eternal event happens. Same way, when older people, or people that go home to be with the Lord or leave the planet, when their spirit leaves and their soul – an eternal event happens.

Pastor Sharon:
Yes, because an eternal being is born.

Pastor John:
An eternal being is born or leaves.

Pastor Sharon:
And everybody that is born on earth is born, to be born again whether they choose it or not. An eternal being has been born with everything in them to fulfil God’s assignment and God’s purposes and plans on the earth.

Pastor John:
And if every eternal being that was born and made Jesus Lord and Saviour and understood what they’re supposed to do on the earth, and did what they’re supposed to do on the earth, then we would have dominion over all the earth’s resources, and this earth would look a completely different place.

Pastor Sharon:
Right because His kingdom would come. That is how His Kingdom comes. It is through His sons and His will would be done completely on the earth as it is in heaven.

Pastor John:
So to the extent that eternal beings are being born on the earth that refuse to recognise God, and as they have made Jesus Lord and Saviour of their lives are not doing what God wants them to do, that extent is where the earth is groaning. That’s why the earth is groaning and waiting as the book of Romans says; waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. It’s groaning because there are some sons, there are some eternal beings that are on the earth that are not doing what God wants them to do. And so that’s where the groaning happens.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s where the groaning happens.

Pastor John:
I know, it’s just to start off a session with this kind of thought, Sharon, is quite a serious conversation, but it does lead into everything about some of the things that we’re going to talk about what Brother Jerry has said last year about a new door and this year a new era. It’s quite obvious that God is opening up new things for us and a new thing for us to do because the momentum of God’s order on the earth – He’s wanting it to shift in a certain direction. It is the church that has to get it done, it’s not the people in the world that get it done. It’s the people in the earth that get it done; the church.

Pastor Sharon:
Yes. And if the people in the church will heed and listen to God’s prophetic words and His Word from His messengers that’s how the plans of God can move forward if they will not just live for themselves but they will live completely for the will of God.

Pastor John:
So I’m going to start with reading this scripture to you from Matthew chapter six. So Matthew chapter six, from about verse 13 onwards, is really talking about money, Mammon and making choices about the two. I’m going to read selected scriptures to you out of The Passion Translation. Verse 21 says, 21For your heart will always pursue what you value as your treasure (Matthew 6:21 TPT). So your heart is going to pursue what you value as your treasure. If you want to see what your treasure in your life is, just see what your heart is pursuing. So if it’s important for you to build bigger and more houses and homes, and buy more cars, and to accumulate more wealth, you can see what your heart loves – this is not science.

Verse 22, says, 22The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being – the eyes of your spirit. If your heart is unclouded, the light floods in. 23But if your eyes are focused on money, or material things, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place. How profound will be the darkness within you if the light of truth cannot enter! (Matthew 6:22-23 TPT). So if you are in a space where you have made a decision that I don’t want to have the light in my life, that’s got to be the most deepest, darkest place that you can be in. I want to just keep reading here. 24How could you worship two gods at the same time? You will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t worship the true God while enslaved to the god of money! (Matthew 6:24 TPT). Or to the God of self-interest and self-materialisation or you know that sort of stuff. 25This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing—everything your body needs. Isn’t there more to your life than a meal? Isn’t your body more than clothing? (Matthew 6:25 TPT).

So, this goes back to the conversation that we were having earlier, Sharon, that our lives when we are born are eternal beings. Actually, what this scripture is telling us, and after this, I will give you a chance to speak, but what this scripture is telling us is Jesus – actually when you become a born again believer – He says I know that I’ve birthed you into the earth. I know that your body needs certain things. I don’t even want you to consider your life assignment as taking care of earthly material possessions. That’s something that you don’t even have to worry about. If you know who I am, Jesus, and what My intent for earth is and you live with that intent on the earth, you don’t even have to worry about what you are going to eat or what you are going to drink, what you are going to wear or what cars or houses. That’s the lowest least form of living. It is a low life to actually pursue that stuff.

Pastor Sharon:
It is a low life to live about where am I going to eat, what am I going to wear, where am I going to live, what am I going to drive? It’s low life living. Wow.

Pastor John:
And actually, it is a thing like we almost spend all of our time thinking about that, and actually being preoccupied with it every day with what are we going to eat what are we going to drink and what are we going to drive and all that stuff?

Pastor Sharon:
And where we are going to live, in what houses?

Pastor John:
And that is actually such a low standard of living.

Pastor Sharon:
Yes, it’s not the true life of God.

Pastor John:
Yes, and then verse 31 says, 31So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require? (Matthew 6:31-32 TPT). He knows they need this stuff. 33So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. The less important things that we think are so important. These less important things will be given to you abundantly. Why? Because we are constantly chasing after the realm of God’s Kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from Him. Verse 34, 34Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself (Matthew 6:33-34 TPT).

So, as we are speaking to you today; this is a new door time for us. It’s a new era time. God has been speaking by His profits that this is a moment where we must be bold, we have got to think big, this is a moment where we have got to enter into new things that God has got for us and stop worrying about just the basic mundane things that we need in our lives because God will take care of it if we trust Him with that. God will take care of that.

Hey, Sharon, isn’t that part of what Brother Jerry’s word that he had for us? Would you like to refer to that – some of the words that he talked about?

Pastor Sharon:
Yes, because the prophetic word lifts you up out of the low life stuff, the less important stuff, you know. It lifts us up and out of it and it enables our faith to go to a place and our trust to be big in God.

Pastor John:
It allows us to focus on the realm of the Kingdom of God as opposed to the mundane, normal, ordinary things.

Pastor Sharon:
That all the unbelievers worry about.

Pastor John:
That’s what they chase after.

Pastor Sharon:
They chase after, yes. So, you know, just to remind you about this word; a new era has begun and more and more signs and wonders will be seen in 2021. For those who will heed My voice and obey My words, they’ll experience My goodness and My power as never seen or heard – that’s so above the mundane. The fruit of their faithfulness come bursting forth, and they’ll prosper and flourish like never before. Abundance and overflow that’s what they will see. I will bring it to pass because of their love and their obedience to Me. It lifts us up out of the realm of the natural; miracle after miracle.

Pastor John:
Yes, I see this word here; so stay with My Word, it’s faithful and true, I’ll bring it to pass and great things I will do. Just read the next line.

Pastor Sharon:
Yes, a new era is here, it’s already begun and I have planned marvellous things for you in 2021. The things that He has not planned for you and I is to say; what am I going to do about this, what am I going to wear and what am I going to do about this house and what am I going to do about what I’m going to drive? That’s not what He has planned for us for 2021. He has planned triumphant things for us. A new era is here, it has already begun … marvellous things for you in 2021. Abundant overflow is the order of the day, so rest assured, it is on its way. Praise the Lord. Yes, John.

Pastor John:
You know, the Apostle Paul actually made reference to his calling and he was speaking on behalf of God very powerfully in the book of Ephesians. and I am reading from The Passion Translation verse 9 and he says, 9My passion is to enlighten every person to this divine mystery. It was hidden for ages past until now and kept a secret in the heart of God, the Creator of all (Ephesians 3:9 TPT). So He held this secret until the right moment. The secret was that He was going to send Jesus and He would then be able to restore believers to a place of power with Him. Just watch what the next verse says, 10The purpose of this was to unveil before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm God’s full and diverse wisdom revealed through the church (Ephesians 3:10 TPT).

Now if we have to talk about today; so if we’re not supposed to focus on what we’re going to eat, what we’re going to drink, what we’re going to wear, and all that mundane stuff, that God says, “Trust Me, I will take care of it. Just like I take care of bird’s feathers, I take care of the flowers’ colours, I will take care of you.” And so He is saying, “What is it that I want you to focus on? I want you to understand that actually the purpose that you the church have, is that in you and through your living on the earth, you will be the unveiling 10before every throne and rank of angelic orders in the heavenly realm, God’s diverse wisdom revealed through the church (Ephesians 3:10 TPT). So now we are beginning to talk about this is God’s plan. This is God’s order. This is what He has got for us. Verse 11 says, 11This perfectly wise plan was destined from eternal ages and fulfilled completely in our Lord Jesus Christ so that now 12we have boldness through him – here is that word boldness again – we have boldness through him and free access as kings before the Father because of our complete confidence in Christ’s faithfulness (Ephesians 3:11-12 TPT).

So, you know, Sharon, if we’re going into this new order, this new realm, this new era and Brother Jerry says, miracle after miracle that’s what I’ll do, you know. The miracles that He is going to do is partly to make sure that we are always taken care of that we don’t have to worry about our natural stuff, but the other miracles that He is going to do are He is going to allow the new doors to be continually opened and the new things that He has for the era that lies before us, for us to be able to accomplish great and mighty things – that the manifold wisdom of God can be revealed to all of the spiritual forces in the heavenly realm.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right. And a powerful thing there is that as kings. And we are supposed to rule and reign as kings in this life. That is why in our circumstances, we are not to be like the unbelievers and chase after things. We’re just supposed to have dominion over our circumstances and rule and reign as kings in life and actually be about the Fathers’ business and seeking the Kingdom realm. Not seeking what to do and the natural things, but seeking the Kingdom realm because we have taken care of things with our authority because of our authority in the church because we have authority when we’re in a local church, and we’re planted, and we’re under authority, we can be in authority with any circumstance that comes against us so that we can take care of the mundane and the less important things quickly.

Pastor John:
This is a mindset shift that we have to have, Sharon. We have to have this shift in our mind and our thinking. We have to shift in it because if we’re just always thinking about appropriating God’s Word so that we can have more money so that we can have a better house so that we can have a better car. What we’re actually saying is we are using our faith to get that, but that is not what God wants us to use our faith for. He wants us to have already so much trust and faith in Him that as we speak it and just even think about it, and say, “Lord, will you please take care of my transportation needs.”

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right because I am focused on Your stuff, Lord.

Pastor John: Because I am focused on the things that You want me to do.

Pastor Sharon:
Because I am Your son, I am in Your Kingdom, and I am chasing after Your Kingdom realm and I am seeking that first. So according to Your Word, thank You that You take care of this. That is a whole higher plane of living, a whole higher level of Christian living, John, and it takes a tremendous shift if you have trained yourself to use your faith. If you have trained yourself all the years since you’ve heard the Word of faith for it to just take care of what you can eat, where you can live, what you can drink, what you can drive – if you have trained yourself like that, this is a shift of going big and going grown up now. Grow up now and believe this scripture that Pastor John is reading to you. Let the scripture speak to you that we seek first the Kingdom and we have our faith in the fact that all these other things will just be taken care of. That is a big shift to grow up, John, because most Christians are so happy when they hear the Word of faith that they can just use their faith to take care of basic needs. But we have to do that, and then we have to go greater. That’s how sons grow up.

Pastor John:
Correct and to some extent, as ministers of the Gospel we have a responsibility to make it known to people that actually your confession of God will meet all my needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus, you know, all of the things that God will do for me, in my relationship, in my health, those are important things that we need to understand about God, about the way that God actually lives with us. But He is wanting us to be focused with our energy and our prayers and our life assignment on the more important things of what the church is to demonstrate on the earth and the dominion that the church is supposed to have on the earth and the power that the church is supposed to exercise on the earth. That is really what God wants us to do.

It is rather a very special and sobering thought to think this way. I was having a chat to Pastor Sharon yesterday and I was just saying this to her; you know, before you were born from eternity into earth, your eternal process was you were in God, and then He birthed you into a human body, into the timeline of men. And then at a point in time, your body will go back to dust and your spirit-man, if you are born again, will return back to Him and into His presence. Here is the thing; while you are in the body you have the only moment in time, in eternity, to be able to reveal to the angelic hosts and to spiritual orders, you have only this brief time, to reveal to them through your words, through your actions, through your faith that God in your body is powerful. Because once you die and you go to heaven, you have a glorified body, you don’t face the problems, the challenges, the issues that your body faces on the earth. You do not have to face sickness and disease in heaven. You do not have to face wealth or poverty in heaven. You do not have to face even demons in heaven, or demonic forces or dark forces that want to shape the minds and shape the destinies of men. You will not face those when you are gone.

The only time that you have the opportunity to affect your eternal future and your relationship with God eternally, is while you are in this body. And so why would we want to focus all our energy on what our body wants when God is saying, “Just let Me take care of what your body needs. Let Me take care of it. You focus with Me and My Holy Spirit on the big things of life.” Is that not amazing, Sharon?

Pastor Sharon:
That is amazing. And the big things of life actually, is one of the things that Brother Jerry said. I did not read it last week but he said here that there will come an awakening. Brother Jerry said to expect an awakening. And this word awakening, how he defines it is the act of becoming more attentive to the will, the plans and the purposes of God. There is the high life.

Pastor John:
Hallelujah. There is the high life.

Pastor Sharon:
There is the high life. No, I must give attention to all this low life stuff. For the rest of my life, I must think about all this low life stuff and God is saying, “No, seek the Kingdom, My Kingdom to come, My will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. And then all these other things will be added to you.” Let us experience this year, an awakening to that, John, an awakening. Let us become more attentive to the will, the plans and the purposes of God. That is what a mature son of God does. It says, “Father, what are You doing in the earth right now? What is Your purpose right now? Where can I get involved? Where do you want me to do? What is my part to do? That is an awakening. I am experiencing an awakening this year. I am coming up to a higher place. Coming up to a higher place now of being more attentive to that. That is the high life.

Pastor John:
I want to read this other scripture in Corinthians. This is I think the right place to read this. There are some more things you can talk about the shaking and the awakening, which I want you to do now, but in second Corinthians, chapter six verse sixteen it says, 16What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? This temple, this body – what friendship do we have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people (2 Corinthians 6:16 TPT).

16What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? This temple. This body. What friendship do we have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (2 Corinthians 6:16 TPT). If you are God’s people, and He is living in you and He is walking with you, hey, if you are in tune with God all the time and you need something because suddenly something in your physical world you need something, you have a requirement for something, you can just say, “God, I speak into being a new car or I speak into being an additional source of income. And I speak that income into my hands so that I can take care of these things that I have need of.” Meantime, we actually spend most of our time worrying about the temple where God is saying, “Do not even worry about it, I want to walk with you, I want to live in you, I want My plans and My purposes and My will to be flowing through you. The rest I will take care of.” The rest of this scripture says this, 17For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord (2 Corinthians 6:17 TPT). And part of this, Sharon, is being separate from them is because their thinking and their way are all about themselves and they have nothing else to think about, but what to wear, what to drink and what to drive and what houses to buy.

Pastor Sharon:
And what next house to build and what next house to buy.

Pastor John:
They have nothing else to think about.

Pastor Sharon:
They have nothing else to think of.

Pastor John:
Because they’re not thinking about the plans and the will of God and the purposes of God in their lives. They have nothing else to think about. So when the Lord says, “Come out from among them and be separate,” I mean, He’s talking about the body here, your physical body. He’s saying, “Don’t allow their thinking about the way you’re supposed to live, don’t let it be your driving force. Come out from among them, be separate in your thinking from them because I want to walk among you and then we can do together on the earth what we need to do.”

Pastor Sharon:
Yes, and in fact, He’s saying that demons, He’s talking about what can it have in common? What’s happening in me as the temple of the Lord and what the god of this world and the demons of this world are driving unbelievers to chase after? What can we have in common? We should not be living like the world at all. We should not be thinking like them, we should not be pursuing anything like them, we should not even want what they want. We should be consumed with this attentive to the will, the plans and the purposes of our God. Yes, John.

Pastor John:
And so it says, 17“Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you” (2 Corinthians 6:17 TPT). Again, if you say touch nothing that is unclean, it’s unclean thinking. It’s unclean orders of the world system that want to tell you, you must always focus about you. Whereas He is saying, “Live with Me. Let Me live with you. Let us together be what we are supposed to be presenting – a manifold wisdom revealed to all the spirit forces of eternity.” He says, 18“I will be a true Father to you, and you will be My beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty (2 Corinthians 6:18 TPT).

Then he goes on in the next chapter of Corinthians. He goes on to say, 1Beloved ones, with promises like these, and because of the deepest respect and worship of God, we must remove everything from our lives that contaminates body and spirit, and continue to complete the development of holiness within us (2 Corinthians 7:1 TPT). So can you see there that He’s saying because of these promises, what promises? He’s going to live with us, He’s going to live among us, He’s going to live around us. His righteous ways are what He wants to demonstrate to the earth. But if we’re just worried all the time about what we’re going to eat, drink and wear, and all the places that we’ve got to do, then actually we’re living at the very lowest and we’re living like unbelievers, because that’s what they think about.

Pastor Sharon:
Ja, we’re not coming out. We’re going in.

Pastor John:
We’re not coming out, we’re going in. I mean, that’s all they care about.

Pastor Sharon:
Yes. And so then we’re going in to be just like them. We’re not coming out from among them and being separate and letting God be God to us.

Pastor John:
Yes. And let Him walk among us.

Pastor Sharon:
And in us.

Pastor John: And in us. And let Him continue to, as this scripture says, 1…continue to complete the development of holiness within us (2 Corinthians 7:1 TPT). So that holiness is simply walking with God, talking with God, and let Him walk, be in you and walk with you and walk among you. That’s the bottom line to fulfil this Scripture. This is the grand design of God that we would be a revelation to the spirit beings in the earth.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right. Hallelujah.

Pastor John:
Sharon, is there something you want to share about the awakening and the shaking?

Pastor Sharon:
Well, this is another part of a prophecy that also came a few days after the last one I read to you last Sunday. And he prophesied this; a great shaking, a great shifting, a great displacing will take place in your nation. Well, that’s with people. And then immediately following this, there will come a great awakening and a great outpouring. Shaking is the act of causing something to be removed and replaced. I’m so aware in my own life that God is causing me for things to remove out of me and to be replaced with other approaches, other ways of thinking no as we’re talking about today, John. Shifting, the act of changing position and direction. And that is one of the things that we have to be familiar with, and we have to be bold about is the change of direction. We have to be willing and ready to change with God’s direction. He’s doing a new thing. He’s doing specified new things. It’s a new open door. It’s a new era. It’s a new period. It’s a new cycle that is beginning. The way God gets us into the new is with prophecy and with messages. That’s how He gets us all to go into His new, is with the words that He gives his messengers, both the prophetic and the messages that will keep coming.

Displacing, the act of laying aside something or someone and making room for another. This is what’s got to be happening in us now, laying aside old things, and making room for the new to come into us. Awakening is the act of becoming more attentive to the will, the plans and the purposes of God. And an outpouring, when there’s an awakening, then God can bring an outpouring. A sudden rapid flow and barrage of God’s Spirit, God’s power, God’s anointing, God’s love, and God’s blessings. This is what you are to be watching for, and what you are to be expecting as you enter into 2021. You’ll see it, says the Lord. And remember when it happens that I told you beforehand. I’m in charge of the seasons, and the times. This how we grow up, John. Is to be consumed with the recognition of what our God is doing right now. It’s the time of God. That’s a grown-up outlook, John, that’s going big to say, “What is Your will? What are You doing? What are You up to my Father? Where’s my part?” You know, not as we spoke about before these lower mundane things. I just finished this prophecy. I have the power to raise up and bring down and no man, no government, and certainly, no adversary will stop what I have planned. So lift your hands and praise Me, and know that I have everything under control.

Pastor John:
So that control is the control that He wants to exercise in the church.

Pastor Sharon:
That we give Him. Yes, that the church gives Him because they’re growing up.

Pastor John:
I’m reminded of that scripture, Sharon, that you’ve been recently using quite a lot in your ministry. Unless we become like a little child, we cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, unless we become like a little child. And, you know, one of the wonderful teachers in the body of Christ was teaching about obeying God and obeying the instruction of God. He referred to it that he has a large family of children – this man that is in America – he has a large family. They’re all grown up. I don’t know how many grandchildren he has now, but he was talking about as his children were growing up, and he had five children, it was very important for him that they would learn to obey his command instantly in case there was danger. So in the days of living together, he would make sure that they had freedom to live in the way that they wanted to live in a safe environment. He wouldn’t issue too many commands, or put too many restrictions on them, for them as little kids to learn to develop, to get their muscle growth, to learn to be creative. So in those environments, he created a safe space for them. But then, you know, if they were going to go and walk in the mall, or walk in a car park or something, or cross a road, you know, he said this; “If I shout at one of my kids, and I tell him to stop, I expect them to stand still immediately because I’m not trying to restrict them. I’m trying to rescue them. I need them to obey. They don’t have to know why I’m telling them that because at their age they can’t see what I can see. But I’m needing them to obey immediately for their protection, and for their wellbeing.” If you learn that as a little child, then you learn that as you grow up and your father and your mother speak to you, you know that they’ve created a safe space for you to learn to grow. But there are times when they speak even when you become teenagers or adults then and when they speak with a serious tone you know this is no longer about just living together. You learn to obey immediately because there are some things that he can see that you can’t see.

If we enter into this new year with boldness in our defence and boldness in our protection and boldness in our offence and boldness in new directions that God has for us and boldness in new predictions and declarations, and boldness in our established faith and boldness in our sowing and boldness in obtaining a great harvest – part of that boldness comes from being obedient to those words that He tells us to do.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right. Obedient to the prophetic word. Obedient to the messages that come to us. You know, He expects us to obey for our good because in the book of Isaiah it says if you’re willing and obedient, and that part is to be willing to be obedient, willing to be obedient, you will eat of the good of the land. Hallelujah. So obedience is a beautiful thing. And that’s what God’s requiring from us to be obedient to the prophetic word, not to fear, obedience. Not to worry about what you’re hearing in the news – obey. So obedience is simple, you know, heed my voice and obey my words, there it is in the prophetic word of Brother Jerry’s, then you’ll experience My goodness. And it says here; stay with My Word. Obey that, stay with these words.

Pastor John:
It’s faithful and true.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right. Keep your foot in the message. Obedience.

Pastor John:
Sharon, you and I have been living like this for a long time. You know, people say, well, I don’t see the grand plan of God for my life. I don’t see God really involved in my business. I don’t see Him involved in my career. I don’t see Him involved. So then my question is; how much involvement are you giving Him? Because on the one hand, you’re saying; I’ve got to provide for my family, I’ve got to have a job, I’ve got to put food on the table. And so I’m consumed with all those things. Whereas God is clearly saying, “Hey, have a relationship with Me, God, and I will show you My goodness. But at the same time, I want you to be about My business, not just about your business.” And so Pastor Sharon, you know, it’s just a simple thing that oftentimes people say, “Well, I can’t afford to tithe,” when actually, if you’re not tithing, you’re actually making a very big statement by saying, I don’t trust God to take care of my needs. And if you look at tithing in its very simplest form, when you tithe to God you’re saying, “This is my trust that You are the God that takes care of all of my needs.” So that’s the minimum revelation of my trust.

Pastor Sharon:
Exactly. And you’re showing it to principalities. You’re showing it to the angelic forces – here is my trust. I’m in the church, and this is how I display.

Pastor John:
And so if we can be obedient to that Word we begin to grow up because then it doesn’t matter what the conditions are. That’s something that you just trust God with all the time.

So we find ourselves in this moment in time, Sharon, that what we have is God has ordered the energies of men, the circumstances that we find ourselves on the earth. He’s got new spirits that are coming into the earth. He’s got spirits that are in younger bodies that are teenagers, young adults that He’s got a plan and purpose for them to fulfil with the more energies that they have got to give – their gifts, their callings, their assignments. And then you’ve got older people that have spent energies and have gained more wisdom, experience and understanding. And so God is wanting to fuse all of these in His church. And as we have these gifts and callings in the Church, all coming together, all working and collaborating and cooperating together, our boldness begins to increase because we know we are about the Father’s business. We’re allowing Him to live in us. We’re allowing Him to live amongst us and walk with us and direct our lives, plans and His will and His purposes that He wants. As we walk those things out in obedience, it becomes revealed to supernatural, spiritual forces that the Church is alive, the Church is worshipping, the Church is obeying, the church is powerful and is being used by God to dominate and to bring about the will of God in the earth.

Pastor Sharon:
That’s right. And it is about dominion. It is about dominion. That’s right, John.

Pastor John:
And so we have this one unique space of moment in our lives, Sharon. And the Lord is giving us a new momentum, a new door, a new era, we have this one special moment in our lives where before we go on to eternity – I don’t care if you’re ten, twenty, thirty, fifty, seventy – you have this very brief moment in your life where you can show your love for God in a human body that faces obstacles and challenges and temptations. You can show God you love Him in a way that you can’t even show Him when you go into eternity. This is the one time opportunity where we can show God that we love Him more than we love things. We love him more than we love ourselves. We love Him more than we love our careers. We love all of the things that we dream about. Rather, we want to have His dream for us so that as we live His dream for us, the Church becomes the dream.

Pastor Sharon:
The Church becomes God’s dream. The Church is God’s dream that’s why He birthed it with the death and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ so that the Church could be full of the resurrection life of Christ – rule and reign as kings. Seek first God and the Kingdom and the heavenly realm. Hallelujah. That is a high life.

Pastor Sharon:
And so, give me your hand, Sharon. Get into agreement with us right now as we close our conversation and our message together today. We agree in Jesus’ name, that the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is rising and that people that are hearing this message today and in this moment, that you are prepared to go through a new door, go into a new era, and you will obey God and you will follow the things of God. And you will put the simple mundane things of life in its proper place, and let God take care of that. And we follow after the will of God, we follow after the plan of God, we follow after the purposes of God, let Him be strong in us. Let Him be strong around us and amongst us and together in us. And that strength is what some people will refer to as the anointing or the awakening or an outpouring or the fire of God. But it’s merely just the strength of God’s love and the strength of God’s will and order into a given place and time. We commit as a church, as a people on the earth at this time that we will do this, Lord. We will obey You, Lord. We will give ourselves to You, Lord. We will walk with You and we will obey You. We will strive with strength and confidence and boldness into the big things that You have planned for the eternal ages to see the manifold wisdom of God. Hallelujah. Praise Jesus.

Wow, wasn’t that awesome?

Pastor Sharon:
That was awesome. Wonderful to be with you.

Pastor John:
And again, we aren’t sure exactly when we will be able to see each other face to face and hug your neck but sooner rather than later. But in the meantime, we love you.

Pastor Sharon:
And in the meantime, we assemble like this. We don’t forsake the assembling of ourselves together around the Word and around the sound and songs that come around with this message. We assemble this way that God has given us. I’m so grateful, John, that He’s given us this platform for us to all assemble together every Sunday.

Pastor John:
And any time, any moment in time when this message is, you can hear it and experience it and have it played over and over again. Every time you do that you get into agreement with the Word of God and the will of God. If you do that with other people that fellowship continues, that anointing continues, that spiritual growth continues. Hallelujah.

Well, once again, thank you for joining us. May the peace of the Lord Jesus, may His glory and His might and His Spirit of health and well being, may He rest upon you. May He give you peace. May He guide you and lead you and may you experience the nurturing, refreshing presence of the Lord on a daily basis until we meet again. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pastor Sharon:
Amen.
