23 February 2020 New Door – Increase – Opportunity Part 2

So, this morning, after the praise and worship I said I’ve been desiring to have this kind of quality musician for more than 20 years. And now we have that the older generation of people will not be put off by where we are heading with the music, you know. But I am believing God for more still. I’m believing God to have violins, saxophones. I am believing God to have even more than we have now, and the musicians we have are truly of the best there are in South Africa. I mean, they have names, reputations that precede them, and God has brought them to us, that’s an amazing and a wonderful thing. Hallelujah.
And so we are still, we are still a work in progress, but I do want to tell you that I am speaking out my faith today, that we will have at least one more album this year. Maybe even two more albums this year. And so, there is no reason why we shouldn’t, because money’s not a reason. Hallelujah. Money’s not a reason. We’re going to just obey God, and we’re going to go when we’ve got all the songs we need. We think we’re going to produce one album that’s going to be called ‘Songs of Psalms’ but with a rock flavour. Hallelujah.
And there are some other things as well. I’m believing God that we’re going to have some awesome conferences this year, some celebrations. And I’m aiming for the month of June to have a celebration of serving, to celebrate the service. I want to just move this a little bit, I don’t know what to do to fix this. It’s popping. I must move it away from my mouth? Alright, we’ll try that. (Pastor John adjusting the microphone)
So we want to celebrate serving, and servants. Because actually, without people serving, you know, serving is done in many ways. Every time you come to a prayer meeting every week, you serve. You serve the body of Christ because you’re prepared to pray. And so we want to spend the month of June celebrating all the kinds of servicing and service and servants that we have in the ministry otherwise we wouldn’t have church. Amen. You sound very quiet this afternoon. Hallelujah.
We’re going to have a month, or we’re going to have some weeks where we’re going to celebrate worship. So by the way, when you come to Clarens, we are going to have worship for hours. It’s almost going to be like our own kind of Woodstock. Some people don’t know what that is, but that’s okay. Without all the garbage that goes with that, you know. Praise the Lord. We’re going to have a worship rock conference or just whatever music the Lord brings our way.
I said again this morning, and I want to share it with you. I’ve just been meditating on this, and you’ll see if I get to the scripture later this afternoon. I was thinking about worship in Heaven and instruments in Heaven and I don’t think God’s got an ‘angels department’ that makes guitars and pianos. Do you think? No, I don’t think God’s got a department called ‘Angels That Create Instruments’. Hey? No, I don’t think so. So where do instruments come from? Well, instruments come from men on the earth cause they want to create sound. So how does God create that sound so all the sounds originate from Heaven? So how does, I’m not making a doctrine, I’m just sharing with you now. Okay? But how does God make that sound in Heaven? Through beings. I mean, I’ve got scripture, just off the top of my head that makes me think like this but I haven’t researched it properly so don’t put a gun to my head now hey – proverbial, ‘gun to my head’ but I mean if you read about the archangel, Lucifer, I mean music was in him, it was in him, it wasn’t an instrument; it was in him. So if God made one being with music in him then He surely would have made other beings with music in them. Right? So, I mean, wouldn’t it be an amazing thing if you got to Heaven and somebody just begins to speak to you like a violin and you understand everything that they’re saying but the only sound that comes out of them is violin music. It’s not words, but you understand everything they’re saying and when you open your mouth, you speak back to them and it’s just like drums or a trumpet and you’re saying nothing but they understand everything you’re saying. I mean, I don’t know. But music is obviously in beings cause whatever is on the earth is in Heaven. So there has got to be this sound that we make on earth, that sound has got to be in Heaven.
So I’m sure the Chinese think it’s going to be a Chinese sound but Pastor Lynn seems to think it’s going to be an African sound. I mean, and you know, if all of the languages of the earth were founded in Heaven, then surely all of the sounds that men make on earth has got to be founded in Heaven too. I mean, it just makes you think a little differently about where we can go in terms of sounds and worship and the things that we can do on the earth. Amen. Praise the Lord.
I’m looking for that first slide. So I asked Andre, thank you, Andre. Andre did a lot of work in a very short space of time to make this door for me because God has given us a prophetic word that this is a year where God has got a new door for us. Right? So, behold the new door. This is a brand new door. I can vouch for it. It was only finished yesterday. It’s brand new. When I touched it this morning, I was the first to open and close it, formally, besides Andre. Behold the new door. Did you think your door could look like this? Maybe it doesn’t look like that, but that’s a new door, brand new door.
And so, God said, I will open a new door and bring supernatural increase as never before. So if you are looking for supernatural increase, you’ve got to be able to see the new door. If you can’t see a new door then you won’t experience the supernatural increase. Right? That the new door can bring.
So Kenneth Copeland’s word for 2020 will bring a year of great change, wonderful and magnificent changes in the Kingdom of God in the earth, changes that will come because of insights, ideas and concepts directly from Jesus to His Church, by His mighty Spirit. Glorious concepts of how His laws work, laws governing increase and financial prosperity. Hallelujah.
So this is an important thing that in this year, where God is going to open new doors for us, that we will be able to have an understanding of insights and we will be able to have an understanding of ideas and concepts that directly come from Jesus that are going to be given to His Church so that when we have these ideas and concepts, these things, these insights, it will bring change onto the earth and as it brings change and as it brings change onto the earth, the word of the Lord says we are going to experience supernatural increase. It’s not just a little bit of increase, this is a supernatural increase. Hallelujah.
And so this afternoon I don’t want to talk too much to you about what I have ministered in previous sessions about the point of contact. The fact is that you have sown a seed, which is your point of contact seed. Right? And so, if you’ve sown a seed that is your point of contact seed then you can believe God that things are going to change and things are going to function for you and do things for you because you have a point of contact. I mean if you break things down logically, a guitar is nothing but a few strands of wire that is put on top of a piece of wood and a box that reverberates sound. So if you just think about it logically you can say, “So what is it about a guitar that makes it so special?” So just bear with me. Then you can buy a guitar where it makes a good sound and you can buy a guitar that if you pay R5000 for a guitar, I can tell you that it will make a good sound. But then you can go into that same guitar shop and you can go and buy another guitar for R50 000. So when you break it down you may say, “Why should I spend R50 000 for a guitar when I can spend R5000 for a guitar?” Because, if you break it down to its fundamental denominator, it’s still just a wooden box with strings that makes a sound. And so, if you break it down to a value system that governs your thinking like that, then you can never be in a place where – I’m just going to move this a bit further away and then we will see if it makes any difference to the popping. And you might have to change the sound levels. But let’s see if this will work. (Pastor John adjusting the microphone)
So, you know, if you approach spiritual things, if you approach spiritual things in that way that you’re always breaking down spiritual things to a common human denominator then you will never ever see value in spiritual things because you’re always breaking it down to something you can understand. Now I know from spending some time with the musicians that are in our church now, you know, Denholm, I mean, he toured the USA for eight years. They had their base in Los Angeles. And, you know, they were competing with all musicians of the world because if you can make it in Los Angeles, or in America, then you can make it anywhere and you can make it big. So Denholm has this natural level of talent.
You know, if you go to Roger Federer, who is a tennis player, you say to Roger Federer, “So Roger, what’s it like to be able to, under pressure, just serve your way out of trouble all the time?” And he would say to you, “Well, I don’t really understand what you’re telling me, what you’re asking me because it’s natural to me.” Do you understand what I’m saying? It’s what makes him great is that when the pressure is there, he naturally performs at his best. So, I mean, there’s how many tennis players in the world that can serve the same speed, can put the same spin on the ball, they can put the same everything on the ball when they’re serving. But the thing about Roger is that he does it best when he is under the best pressure. So if you’re a tennis player you can break it down to the most common denominator and say, “If I’m able to hit the ball that hard, and I’m able to hit it that accurately, and I can do it time after time, I should succeed.” No, because there is something you can’t quantify with Roger and that is that there is something in him that when he is in that place, he works at his best. You can’t replicate that. And if you ask him, “What does it feel like?” he will say, “Well, I don’t really know how to compare it to something else because it’s natural in me.” And you can’t create that in someone else. Ask the other top 100 players in the tennis world. Ask the other top ten players in the tennis world. For fifteen years it’s been Roger, Rafa and Novak. So when you ask them, “How you do get to that place where it’s so natural?” And they’ll tell you, “Well, it’s a lot of practice but there is nothing like the moment.” There is something in them that is there, it’s natural, it’s there. So you can’t break their game down to the most common denominator and say it’s because he practised so many hours. All the other guys do the same. It’s because he puts so much spin on the ball. The other guys do the same. And if you break down everybody’s technicality of the game, it’s because they do the same, but there’s something about those guys that’s natural. It’s just there. Right?
Well, it’s the same with walking your walk with God. If you break down your walk with God to; I must confess, I must pray, I must do this, so, therefore, I must succeed; you can’t do that. There is something that God places in your heart that’s reaching out to Him that you can only have that in your life when you reach to Him. It’s not a formula. It’s not a process that if you do, then you will get. That’s called religion. But a walk with God is something that’s very personal. And so as we go into this year when you took your seed and you sowed your seed as a contact seed based on a messenger that sent a message that you have a contact seed for the supernatural increase; there is no formula about how you going to see your new door. There is no formula about how the supernatural increase is going to come. There is no formula about this. This is about a personal relationship. It’s the way you choose to walk with God. It’s the way you choose to live. I am really preaching well.
So I’m not going to go over the things that I spoke about, well, Pastor Sharon was here last Sunday afternoon. So if you wanted to hear my message from Sunday morning you’ll have to get it on the website. You haven’t? Well, you’ll have to catch up.
So here are a few things that I want to give you today as you begin to approach the new door for supernatural increase because it’s like; how are you going to see the new door? How are you going to see it? It might be there, but if you can’t see it. So this door was there by the wood on the side by the auditorium and nobody would have known that there was a door there until Pastor Sharon got up and pointed out there’s a new door there. And I didn’t want her to do that because I wanted them to bring the new door up when I preached and suddenly everybody was looking at the new door because she said there’s a door. Nobody would have seen the door was there if she hadn’t pointed it out. When they brought the door up and they put it on the stage, well, then everybody could see the door. And so the way it’s going to work is that the new door that God is opening for you is not something that you’re going to just because I declare that this is a new door, that it’s just going to just present itself to you. This is something that you are going to have to see spiritually before you see it naturally because everything God is going to do for you is going to originate in the spirit before it begins to become seen in the natural.
So here’s what you can’t afford to be in a mode of and some of the things that you must be aware of as we approach this season of the new door. Number one; do not compare what’s happening to you to anybody else, and also don’t compare what’s happened in your past or what’s happened before to what’s happening now.
Number two; you must prevent comfort zone crime. Prevent comfort zone crime. You commit a crime against yourself when you allow yourself to live in a comfort zone and you prevent yourself from pressing for the increase. Hello? Your comfort zone is probably one of the most dangerous places you could have in your life; it is your comfort zone. Actually what we do is we spend most of our life creating a comfort zone for ourselves but really, your whole spirit being is crying out for adventure. It’s not crying out for comfort. Isn’t it interesting that we’re always trying to create a comfort zone but we want something that is very exciting and very special and amazing?
God has created us to want that spirit of adventure and that spirit of reaching for new things and experiencing new things and yet we try to create a comfort zone. I can tell you, the new door is not in your comfort zone and if you are trying to live in your comfort zone this year, it’s a crime against yourself for not and which will prevent you from seeing the new door. I can guarantee you, the new door is going to pull you out of your comfort zone.
Number three; don’t connect to your past, or to anything in the past for confirmation as to whether you’re making progress or not. Whether you see your new door opportunity or not because there is nothing in your past that can confirm what is happening in your future. There is nothing in your past that can direct you to your future. By the definition of a new door, it’s a new door, your past hasn’t got the answer. You can’t look back for confirmation, you can only look forward. I’m preaching really well. You are a bit quiet on me here. Say this, “You’re preaching well, Pastor John”. There you go, thank you.
Number four; you must unchain yourself from your current status. So whatever your current status is, you’ve got to break the chains of saying, “The current status is where I’m living and where I’m destined to be.” Don’t allow the chains of your current status to hold you there, break them. You’ve got to break the chains that are holding you to your current status. Hallelujah.
How did I get to unchain? Well, as I’m being preparing this series of messages and even this message, I’ve got a lot of material on it that I didn’t get to preach this morning. I knew that as I prepare a message, often I will prepare, prepare and put a lot of stuff down and I will actually get a whole message and sometimes as I’m getting a download from God, I’ll have a message that I only can preach over six or seven weeks but I actually get the whole message as I’m preparing before God and then God will modify it as we go along and He will give me new things and things like that but generally speaking when I’m studying, I get a lot of stuff from God as I’m studying. Part of where I got the unchained thing is that Paul and Silas were in jail and their current circumstances, they were chained. They weren’t just in jail. They were chained to the walls of the jail and so the angel of the Lord had to come and shake the jail and shake the chains off their hands and free them from their jail. I want to say to you; you’ve got to unchain yourself from your current status because if you allow your current status to keep you chained to where you are, you won’t be able to get out of jail, you won’t be able to move to a new door. Even if that new door is just walking out of your jail, that’s a good place to start. Hallelujah.
Number five; you must walk, see and talk covenant future. You can’t walk, see and talk what your natural world is seeing and you can’t speak about and talk about and move about as though nothing is changing. You’ve got to talk your covenant future. You’ve got speak the prophetic word. You’ve got speak what God sees about you.
Number six; you must be courageous and obedient to His guidance. Courageous and obedient to His guidance. So this is just the way that the Lord works to me, works with me, is when I was preparing the message, the Lord just, He gives me words in my spirit and then I pray them out as I’m seeking Him for answers and for what to minister. I had these words, you will recognise them as I pray them out. He gave me the words; compare, comfort, connect, current, covenant and courage, courageous. Those are the words that God gave me. I read it to you again;
When the door is open you can see things inside or behind the door that you can’t see when the door is closed. You have to open the door, you have got to cross that threshold, and I have ministered some about that. You have got to cross that threshold and that only comes through courage and obedience. Hallelujah. Just leave it on this slide for the time being.
Revelations chapter 3 verse 6 says, 6He who is able to hear, let him listen to, you can put the verse up. I just realised what I have said that I told him to keep that slide on and then, 6He who is able to hear let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (church). 7And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Philadelphia (Revelation 3:6 AMPC).
So you understand, I have preached on this before that for every church when he says to the angel or the messenger, that is not actually an angel. The correct interpretation is a messenger, and that messenger is actually a man. It’s the spiritual leader of the church. It should read like this, and to the spiritual leader of the church in Philadelphia. He is not talking about angels, by the way, this is not just my revelation, this is a revelation that other great men of God that we are connected to preach like this too. I am not preaching heresy here, you know. If you break it down in the Greek this is where it comes from. I’m not just sucking this out of my thumb. That’s why the Amplified Bible actually writes it like that, to the messenger of the assembly of the church in Philadelphia. In other words, He is talking to guys, people that are the spiritual leaders of that congregation and he is saying, “As spiritual leaders, you are doing this well, and not doing this because the church is in this shape.” That’s why I say anybody who seeks to put themselves in spiritual leadership and they are not called to be in spiritual leadership, you don’t actually understand what you are doing because there is a level of accountability as is reference in the book of Revelations where God holds spiritual leaders, messengers, accountable for what happens or what doesn’t happen, equally.
So, to this messenger of the church in Philadelphia write, 7These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, He who has the key of David, oh, the key is for a? Who opens and no one shall shut, Who shuts and no one shall open. 8I know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name (Revelation 3:7-8 AMPC).
I’ve got good news for you this afternoon. The good news is that, even though you may have just a little bit of power, God has still opened a door for us that no man can shut, there is no one that can shut the door that God’s got open for you. No man can shut it, no man, no man. He’s making a point here that it’s not about your power that opened this door. “It’s about My mighty power that has opened that door and if I open it, no man can shut it and if I shut it no man can open it.”
I’ve got good news for you, that God has is speaking today and He is saying this is a supernatural thing that is going on and let me tell you, men have tried to confront the power of God through their own will and they’ve always understood too late the He is too powerful.
Willie, I thought you would have spoken to those guinea fowl before. I’m reminded actually, one of the greatest evangelists and one of the most radical people that I have ever had the privilege of meeting and had encounters with him was a man by the name of Don Leonard. Some people know that name. Well, of course, Don Leonard was a famous celebrity before he got born again in South Africa. Don Leonard famously in his testimony, he talked about how he was in a very bad place in his life and he got angry with God. He took his shotgun and he walked outside and he took the shotgun and shot the shotgun into the sky at God, shouting and cursing at God and said, “You’re so powerful, You think You’re something, take that.” Now that might seem like, who does that? Well, I mean, if you just think about it logically, the most powerful thing that he had that he knew that if he pointed it at somebody and shot it at somebody that shotgun would blow them away. In his mind, the most powerful thing that I could get my hands on is to shoot at God and then curse Him at the same time and tell Him how little I think of Him.
I’ve heard other men that have been very, very, very famous men, very wealthy men, namely one of the Beatles who said, “I’m more famous than God.” He did. He declared to the whole world that he’s more famous than God, and now? Now he’s dead. Now? Unless he got born again, now? He’s just beginning to find out how famous God is. People, we on the earth, we think that we are somebody, something so special that we can resist God, and we can manipulate the work of God in our lives the way we want God to work out because we want Him to work on our terms. No, no, let me tell you, that’s not God. God says, “My will is the will that stands in the universe because I am the only pure One.” Hello.
When you are the source of everything then what you are the source of becomes everything and anything that stands against the source cannot stand against the source because the source that started everything is the only measure if you want to have a measure. It’s the only force that ever can ever be in the universe because you are the source of all things. And if you try and figure out where the source started from, then you’re human because if you can figure it out, then you would be God, and you can’t. If you can’t figure it out then that’s where faith starts, where you believe without being able to figure it out.
I know I’m covering territory here, but it’s going to be the same thing when you go to the supernatural increase and to go to the new door, you still got to believe that God is the source of that. You still got to believe He is the One who opened that new door. He’s the One that has created that new door, and even if your power is a little bit you can still walk through it. This is good news, this is good news that the messenger has brought us a message that 2020 God has got a new door that He’s opened, that He’s got for us, and we will have supernatural increase as we go through that new door, and even if your power is little, man can’t shut it. Man can’t shut it. Do you know what that means? The economy of South Africa can’t shut it. It means the politics of South Africa can’t shut it. It means that legislation that hasn’t been passed that should be passed in order for that to happen can’t stop what God wants to do to bless you. If you will believe this, I tell you, God will change legislation if He has to, just for you. He will. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. I believe that. Do you believe this? Come on come on. Do you believe this? Because you see, if you believe this, then you are going to start looking for this new door, and you are going to say, “It’s not about how much power I’ve got. It’s about God spoke it, I’ve got to believe it.” Praise the Lord.
Revelation 3 verse 19, 19Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude] (Revelation 3:19 AMPC). So if you find yourself in a place where God is disciplining you like in this message today, saying, “Hey, you’ve got to believe that even though you have little power that God has opened the door.” This is not to try and bomb you over the head with something, this is to get you to a place where you do believe. This is a good thing, it means He loves you.
20Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him and I will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me (Revelation 3:20 AMPC). God, standing at the door, (Pastor John knocking), He’s knocking. Where is He standing, which door? He’s standing at the door of your life. So you say, “Well, Pastor John, where do you get that from?” Well, the Bible says guard your heart because out of it springs, flows all of the issues of life. When God says, “I am standing at the door of your heart and I’m knocking,” He’s saying, “I’m standing at the door of your life knocking, let Me in. Let Me in.” What is He knocking to? Every area of your life. He’s knocking and saying, “Let Me in.” I know people have used this for salvation for many years; behold God is standing at the door of your heart to let Him in, then once you are saved He stops knocking. No, no, He’s standing at the door of your life and He is knocking all the time because He’s always wanting to say to you, “Open that door of your heart to Me and I will come in and I will have a dinner with you and you will eat with Me and I will eat with you. When we have this relationship this will not just be about you coming to have dinner with Me, it will be about Me eating with you so that you can have My life.” This is a life exchange where you give him your life and then He gives you His.
Can I just read that to you again so that you understand that? 20Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me (Revelation 3:20 AMPC). I will eat with Him that means I will meet you where you are at. When you come and eat with Me, you come and meet Me where I’m at. This becomes a life exchange. I’ll come to you, I’ll give you what you need but when you come to Me and eat of My life, you get a whole new life. Our whole perspective of life changes. The more I eat with Him and the more I’m with Him, the more my life changes because I’m getting His life. It’s not just that He’s coming to meet with me to eat with me. Hey? If I invite you to dinner and you come to my house, you’ve got to eat what I give you. Right? Jesus, God the Father says, “Invite Me, I’ll come and eat whatever it is that you’re dishing up. I’ll come into your world and whatever permission you give Me to be in your world, I’ll take it. But when I’m in your world, I’m going to invite you to come and eat in My house. When I serve you food it will be My food. I’m standing at the door and I’m knocking.”
Do you know why this is so significant? Because the Lord has said that this is a year for the new door and you’re going to have supernatural increase if you just only understand that and this scripture, then you’ll find out that He’s knocking on the door of your whole life. He’s saying, “This is the moment for supernatural increase because I’m going to eat with you where you let Me in but then you’re going to come and I’m inviting you to eat with Me. Mine is the supernatural increase. My life is the stuff where you get all the blessings.” Hallelujah. Don’t you want to live on that higher plane? That’s where the good stuff is, man. Okay, I’ve still got a bit more time.
Revelation 4 verse 1, 1After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling of] a war trumpet (Revelation 4:1 AMPC). This is again underpinning what I said earlier. Just note; he didn’t say a war trumpet. He said; the first voice I heard addressing me like the calling of a war trumpet. It had a voice that sounded like a? (Congregation answers; like a war trumpet). He’s got beings in Heaven that make different sounds, they’re just words. He understood the call because it called him. Come on. Do you know what he was saying here? Just give me a moment, you know, in the military, they would blow a bugle like for morning parade or for stand down or they would blow a trumpet or a bugle. (Pastor John imitating the blowing of a bugle). Right? Because, you know what the bugle sound means, it’s as good as someone standing shouting at you, “It’s time to get up and go to the parade ground.” The sound is speaking to you. Okay, enough of that already. Hallelujah. You will find that throughout the scripture, you will find there are sounds that happen, sounds of water, and they all speak and there are many things that happen and there are oceans and there’s, anyway.
1After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling of] a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future. 2At once I came under the [Holy] Spirit’s power, and behold, the throne stood in heaven, with One seated on the throne! (Revelation 4:1-2 AMPC). The first thing I want to talk to you about in this scripture is, where was the door? Behold the door stood open in Heaven. Where was he? Standing on the earth. Where was the door? In Heaven. He was on the earth, the door was in Heaven. What happened? He was standing on the earth when he looked in the Heaven and he saw the door open in Heaven, which means at that point in time, disconnect, but at least he saw the door. You are going to have to see the door first in the spirit before you see it open in the natural because when you see it in the spirit God will get you through the door. How? He will call you to the door.
I’ve got lots to say about that which I can’t get to today. Hallelujah. At that point, a door standing open in Heaven, and so He said, “Come up here and I will show you what must take place in the future.” Let me tell you what’s going to happen about this door. When you see in the spirit because you have been calling it in the spirit yourself, you have been saying, “Lord, I am ready for the supernatural increase, I am ready for this new door.” Because you have sown your seed as a contact point, you have made yourself ready for God to begin to show you. You now have to just start to prepare yourself to hear the call, because you are going to see a door, you will see it, you will know it, it will be just in your spirit. Hallelujah. When you see it, it will be a spiritual knowing, I’ve got to do this. It will be a spiritual knowing, I’ve got to do this or I’ve got to stop doing this or I’ve got to go here or I’ve got to not go here. It’s got to start in the spirit before it becomes something in the natural.
I’m going to share with you something unique that happened to me today. I have never, never, never had this happen to me before that happened to me today. So, I never make arrangements to meet with people after church on a Sunday morning, because I know I’m coming here in the afternoon, and it’s always a long day for me anyway because I am up early in the morning praying and preparing. Then I’m at church, then I am preaching, then I go back and I try and rest a little bit and prepare my spirit to come and do the afternoon service. Then by the time I get home tonight, it’s eight o’clock, and this is a highly intense fourteen to sixteen hour day for me. So I don’t normally give any scope for myself for people to pull on me spiritually between the morning service and the afternoon service, but in this case, it was an unusual situation and so I was having coffee with people after church today. We were sitting around a table and we decided to have a light snack to eat. I just said, “Well, you know what is going to happen? I’m not going to have time to eat anything when I get home. I’m really just going to change and get ready to come.” I decided to have something to eat. Pastor Sharon came to join us, and she was late getting there, and we were talking about some practical matters and things that had to happen. The next minute we were talking about something and the Holy Spirit fell upon me. The Holy Spirit fell upon me. He put His cloak of prophecy, just dropped His cloak of prophecy on me. I knew immediately what I’m going to say, I could. It was like I’m reading a book, I’m reading a newspaper. I knew what I was going to say next. No words were coming out of my mouth but I knew everything that, what I’m supposed to prophesy.
I said, “Okay, Lord.” I know the spirit of prophecy when it drops on me. It doesn’t happen to me that much but I know what it’s like. “What must I do with this now, right now?” I’m sitting at lunch. He says, “I want you to prophesy right now.” I said, “But Lord, I’m having lunch with people.” He said, “So prophesy.” I said, this is happening internally, with me and the Lord, speaking to my spirit. He said, “You have confessed for many years that you will function in the spirit of Kenneth Hagin.” Kenneth Hagin, I often would speak to my servant in the company where he would get lost in the Spirit, and people – Jerry Savelle told me this when I was in Kenya with him. There were times when Jerry Savelle and Carolyn Savelle were invited to Kenneth and Aretha Hagin’s hotel room after church, or to their house sometimes, and they would be sitting and he would be talking to them, and he could watch him. He watched Kenneth Hagin, he could see it in his eyes, this man’s drifting. He’s drifting from the natural into the supernatural. They would watch his words. As he was speaking, he would just begin to speak in a heavenly language and in heavenly things, and he wouldn’t even know that they are there. Then Aretha and they would look at each other and they would get up and walk at the table, and Kenneth Hagin kept speaking in a spiritual language and he was communing with God. Brother Jerry told me that he saw this happen many times, where they would just get up from the table knowing there’s a holy moment happening with Kenneth Hagin in the spirit realm, and they would just leave the room. He wouldn’t even know they’re gone.
The Lord said to me, He said, “You’ve been wanting to operate in the spirit of your fathers for a long time. If you’re going to do that, you need courage and obedience now.” I said, “Yes, Sir.” I stopped everybody at the table, there were a number of us sitting at the table. I stopped everybody at the table. I said, “I’ve got to prophesy.” I put my recorder on, on my phone. I said, “Sorry, I’ve got to obey God and I’ve got to prophesy,” and I began to prophesy. I prophesied for about five minutes. I just spoke as I saw the words and I had seen them; I spoke them out of my spirit about things that are going to happen in the future this year. Then I was done and I switched off the recorder and I said, “Thank you for allowing me to be obedient to God.” Of course, our conversation changed quite radically after that.
He said, 1Come up here, and I’ll show you what must take place in the future (Revelation 4:1 AMPC). I’ll tell you what, when you begin to see the door, the new door that God’s got for you, you will understand things that must happen in the future and the next steps you must take because He’s going to show it to you. He’s not going to, on purpose keep you in the dark. He’s going to give you the strength and the faith to walk through it because He said, “Even though your strength is little.” Hallelujah.
2At once I came under the [Holy] Spirit’s power, and behold, a throne stood in heaven (Revelation 4:2 AMPC). In other words, what he was saying is; immediately I came under the power of the Holy Spirit and I was no longer on the earth, I was in Heaven. Just like the Apostle Paul said, “One time I knew a man, and I don’t know if he was in the spirit or if it was a real thing, whether I was on the earth, or whether it was – but such a man saw into the fourth heaven.” He was speaking about himself. It was such a real experience, he didn’t know whether he was actually in Heaven or whether he was having a vision that was so real like, he couldn’t tell whether he was in Heaven or it was happening in a vision on the earth. In this case, I don’t know, it seems as though John was physically transported into Heaven. Either way, I’ve got news for you; if it’s a supernatural increase that God’s doing and it’s a new door that God’s opening, then this is all going to happen in the spirit before it happens in the natural. You’re not just suddenly going to bump into something and it’s going to just be, well, I don’t know.
God is being deliberate about this because He’s prophesying about it. This is not business as usual. If He’s prophesying about it, He’s being deliberate that He’s doing things in the spirit, and He’s wanting you to know about it because He’s wanting your faith to be there for it because He’s going to give you the strength for it because He’s going to want you to actually have it come to pass. He’s counting on us to actually have it come to pass. This is a deliberate thing God’s doing for us. Hallelujah.
I’m going to quit now but I have to quit with this story and I’m not going to read it to you, but you can find it in Acts chapter 10 verses 1 to 20. There was a man in Caesarea and his name was Cornelius and he was a centurion or a captain in the Italian army, in the Italian Regiment. He was a devout man who venerated God and he did a lot of good things for the children of Israel. This man, it was about three o’clock, and he was praying and he clearly, 3he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God entering and say to him, Cornelius! 4And he, gazing intently at him, became frightened and said, What is it, Lord? And the angel said to him, Your prayers and your [generous] gifts to the poor have come up [as a sacrifice] to God and have been remembered by Him (Acts 10:3-4 AMPC).
Hello, your prayers and your generous gifts have been observed and God sent an angel to him, and that angel was so powerful in his sight. He thought it was a vision but there was the angel standing and saying, “Because you are so generous, Cornelius, and because you pray with faith,” understand there were many men that prayed for long hours, praying. What was the difference with Cornelius? He prayed with faith. He prayed believing. “Because you pray believing and because you are generous with your gifts you have made a memorial, you are remembered by Me,” God, “Now I’m going to change your future.” Now you read the rest of the story. At just about a similar time frame, a little bit earlier, Peter is having a rest and he has a vision and all these animals are on this sheet and Jesus says to him, “Eat, Peter.” And Peter says, “No, Lord, I can’t eat these animals because these are unclean animals and I am not supposed to touch anything that is unclean.” And what does the Lord say to him? I’ll read it to you. He said, and there came a voice to him, saying, Rise up Peter, 13And there came a voice to him, saying, Rise up, Peter, kill and eat. 14But Peter said, No, by no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unhallowed or [ceremonially] unclean. 15And the voice came to him again a second time. Then it occurred a third time; 16then immediately the sheet was taken up to heaven. 17Now Peter was still inwardly perplexed and doubted as to what the vision which he had seen could mean when [just then] behold the messengers that were sent by Cornelius, who had made inquiry for Simon’s house, stopped and stood before the gate. 18And they called out, Peter’s name (Acts 10:13-18 AMPC).
Hello. This whole thing happened in the spirit before it happened in the natural. Are you hearing me, church? He moves on one man because of his prayers and generosity. He moves on another man because of his authority in the Spirit. He needs to bring the authority of the Spirit to the praying, generous man.
So with the man that has got the authority in the Spirit has got to show him that actually ceremonial, function, rules and regulations and all of what is known to men, all of the things that chained him to his past, all of the current status of where the church was at, all of the things that would prevent him from actually delivering what God was wanting to deliver. God says, “I am unchaining you. I’m changing your current status. I’m changing the things that are your comfort zone. I’m moving you into a new place. Peter, you’ve got to obey me now, you’ve got to have the courage to obey Me. You must go to Cornelius’s house.” “Yeah, but, I don’t touch unclean things.” “I don’t care what you think, this is Me, God, telling you; new door, new opportunity, new door.”
The story is, Peter goes to Cornelius’s house and he preaches the Gospel to them and as he’s preaching the Gospel to them the Holy Spirit falls upon them and they begin to pray in another language, speak in tongues. Then he says, “Well if these people are touched by the Holy Ghost then surely they should be baptised into the body of Christ.” He goes to find water and he baptises them into the body of Christ and suddenly this is the first time that the Gentiles receive Jesus. He’s got to now go and tell the rest of the Church who are all Jews what’s just happened with the Gentiles. You can’t stop what other people think. You can’t compare yourself to the past. You can’t compare yourself to what other people are doing. You’ve got to obey God to get to the new door for supernatural increase.
Hey, Pastor Melusi? Hey? Pastor Melusi has stepped through a new door. Am I right, Pastor Melusi? You stepped through a new door, right? You quit your job. He did. He’s going full-time into the ministry. Stand with me. You all sit there. You’re about to experience a new door experience. You see there’s a car parked out there. It’s an Audi. Here are the book and the key for that Audi, that car belongs to you.
You see, let me tell you, God has been putting this thing together with this car for months, months. I know this, for months. When he became obedient it unlocked this whole process and now the car is given to him. It’s a paid-for car. I know it’s a second-hand car but it’s a paid-for car that has nothing on it and it’s been fixed. In other words, it’s been serviced, it’s been looked after, it’s got nearly a full tank of petrol in it. Let me tell you, I didn’t have anything to do with this, somebody in the ministry said they wanted to bless Melusi with a car. I’m just the vehicle that’s giving him the car today. I didn’t ask anybody to give him a car. It’s all God. The Lord told me to tell you this is a sign that He will take care of you forever. Hallelujah. What do you think? Hallelujah. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus.
Now I’ll tell you something else, Melusi is facing a situation that actually needs another vehicle situation sorted out. So Pastor Sharon and I are going to sow some seed towards helping him sort out another car situation in which he finds himself in and if you want to participate in this blessing you just let us know via Sarah, my secretary, just send an email and say; I want to put an R100, R500, R300, whatever it is towards fixing this other problem that he has with the car and we’re going to sort it out, try and get it sorted out by the end of the month because we want to be in the ministry without any holds that the devil’s got.
Let me tell you what’s happening here is that the Lord began to speak to me when he told me because there is a part of me that said, “You know, you’re being a bit radical here, Melus. We’ve been backwards and forwards about this thing and said, “Don’t do it now just wait a few months,” you know. He just got into his heart; I’ve got to do this now. We talked about it and I said, “Okay Melus, I’ll get into agreement with you. I’ll put my faith in with you. Now’s the time.” God will honour faith and then you have to be obedient and have courage to do what God is calling you to do.
Today, this family is going to drive home in two cars. I don’t know who’s driving the Audi. The wife and the girls, obviously. There’s a man who knows his place in the house, you know. Hallelujah.
I have a prayer for you. The prayer is on Facebook, and the prayer is on the website, you can download the prayer. How many of you feel the anointing of God just so strong in this room right now? The Lord told me this afternoon, He told me when we gave the car to Melusi this afternoon that this will happen. Here’s what He said to me, “I want you to announce to the people that you and Sharon are personally going to sow seed and the ministry will sow seed into helping him sort out the problem that he’s got with another car so that he doesn’t have to have a financial burden on him for that other car going forward.” Hello? Here’s what the Lord said to me, He said, “John, you’ve been striking the ground for transportation.” He said, “Here’s an opportunity for you to take your own faith and deliverance to a new level.” Hallelujah. Praise Jesus.
This is amazing, I know some of you feel quite in awe of what God is doing here right now. Remember what I said hey, you can’t compare. You can’t compare what’s happening to one person and compare your circumstances to what’s happening to one person because what God’s got for him, He’s got something else for you, you can’t compare though, because the minute you start comparing, that’s when you start to lose your faith and you become perplexed and you start to doubt as Peter did. I’m preaching good, right? Come on. You’re preaching good, Pastor John.
Here’s my prayer and then I’m going to close with this prayer. You can read this prayer. If I were you, I would download it and I would pray this prayer every day, many times a day. God gave me this prayer to give to you.
I am a son of God, and therefore I walk purposefully. I am alert. I receive the gift of peace and do not accept fear, intimidation and feelings of being unsettled. I do not compare my new door to anything or anyone. I do not concern myself with current status, neither do I look back to my previous comfort status. I am unchained from the past and any limitations. I look forward to covenant status. In Jesus’ name. I expect Gods favour, His blessing, His wisdom and understanding as part of my covenant. I am courageous and obedient to God’s written Word and to the prophetic word. I am a son of God, therefore I can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me. I will be bold. I will be courageous. I will be fearless, in Jesus’ name. I receive supernatural increase in Jesus’ name.
Praise His holy name. Hallelujah. Praise the name of Jesus. Praise the name of Jesus. Stand to your feet, everybody. Praise the name of Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Glory to the Lord. Glory to the name of Jesus. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Praise You, Lord. Praise You, Lord. Praise You, Lord. Hallelujah.

No weapon formed against you will prosper, because you are blessed going in and out and He gives His angels charge over you to look after all that is yours, in Jesus’ name. And everybody said; amen.
