It’s a pleasure to be able to minister to you again. You know, it’s been too long. The devil tried to do several things, but he’s not victorious in anything he does. As I minister to you today, I want you to receive it in your life, for whatever you have need of. I’m so excited about what I can see in South Africa, I see the crowd, I’m going to try to watch my camera more than the crowd. I know that you need to know that we love you and we can’t wait to get back over where you see me, face to face, and I see you, face to face; not just upon a screen. So I’m going to start with this.
There was a direct attack and years ago, Brother Copeland, made a statement that in the last days, the devil would unleash his special forces. We knew that is evil forces; his demons, his imps but then he also said there would be a group of people that would battle these forces and that’s the Body of Christ and the men and women of God; and that’s who we are. No matter where we live, no matter what color we are, we are the Body of Christ that will defeat the devil in every way. So a lot of things that happened over the last, I’m going to say a year, it’s been nothing but an attack on the Body of Christ, the Church, and for sure the churches, and just to keep the Body from being together, contingent trying to start anything you can imagine, but this is nothing new.
If you go to John 10:10. It says 10The thief cometh not but to steal and to kill and to destroy. But I have come, Jesus talking to the body of Christ, that you might have life, and the abundant overflowing life (John 10:10 KJV). That’s what we live in today. All the challenges that we have faced over the last year, but not just the last year, it probably started when you became a Christian, we have conquered everyone of them because we will not be defeated, as believers. As Christians, we will not be defeated. Can I get an amen? And I’ll wait just a minute for your response.
I heard it, I heard the amen, I heard it in the spirit man. Well, I want to start off this way. The Lord told me a long time ago, He said, If you continue in My Word, and this is found in John 8 verse 31 and 32, then you’ll be My disciples. He didn’t say, I’d be a son or His daughter, when I get born again, then I’m His son, or His daughter or His children. But instead, if you’ll continue in My Word, then you are My disciple or a chosen one He can use in your deeds or in your actions. As we study the Word of God, and we renew our mind, and we continue hearing His voice, and doing what He says, we are becoming His disciples, and I might use another word, as we become His lights in the earth, and all over the world. So anywhere we go, if we continue in His Word, we’re His disciples and His lights all over the world, because we go by His Word, and not by what the world system does.
Everything we’ve seen come up; COVID-19, all this, was to destroy the vision of the church, a lot of visions of individual churches, or individuals but we wouldn’t let him do it if we continue in the Word. That’s where I want to start today.
In John 8 verse 31 and 32, it says, 31Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed in Him, He’s talking to believers, “If ye continue in My Word, He didn’t say you continue in somebody else’s word, continue in His Word. The very Word written of God that brings forth life and does never create death. He says, then are you, My disciples, in your actions, indeed (John 8:31 KJV).
I took that literally, because every time we study the Word, and we renew our minds, so I continued hearing His voice, I continued obeying what He said, in my personal life, and we all do as a church and I also continued in being able to renew my mind daily to what God says, and not what’s coming across the world system, in the form of news, or politics or anything like that.
I just blocked that out of my mind, and I put the Word of God in my mind. I want to tell you why this is important in any part of your life. It doesn’t matter if you’re believing for a financial need. It doesn’t matter if you’re believing for wanting your children to be saved, or brought back into the Kingdom. It doesn’t matter if you’re believing for health, and I’m talking about Divine health. God said, we can have Divine health. So the more we put into our spirits, the different things that have to do with healing, prosperity, and hey, you’ve heard a lot on healing, you’ve heard a lot on prosperity. You’ve heard a lot on how God wants His covenant with you to never be broken. He won’t break it and if we step out from under it, His grace and His mercy will cover us but we don’t want that, we want to be covered by His covenant. That is all of His promises. If you receive His promises, and you live within those, and every time the devil will show his ugly head, you quote him the Word, you will not be defeated; you will have victory. Can I get an amen from South Africa, and even here in church? I got an amen from here in church.
About December, I took a little cold and that’s all it was, it was a cold. I started doing what I always do, I started confessing the Word over the cold and it just kept getting worse and kept getting worse. I contacted my doctor and my doctor told me, he said, “Joe, you need to have a test.” He made me take an oxygen test. The oxygen test showed I had real low oxygen. He told me, “You immediately go to the ER room, and you have them check you and see what’s going on.” When they ran the test, I had full-blown COVID. I didn’t know I did. I was still quoting the Word. I didn’t have a lot of the symptoms that other people had but I couldn’t breathe and I had a really, really hard cough. I knew that that was an attack of the devil because anything that tries to attack my body in any form or any way, the first thing I do is quote the Word in my covenant with God. So, therefore, I went to the ER, they put me in a little cubicle and they hooked me up to some machines and they said, “If we can get your oxygen level up, then we’ll let you go home.”
I was convinced I was going home, that that’s what I would be doing, they’d get my oxygen level up and as soon as they did that, I’m on my way back to my house. But about five hours later, they couldn’t get my oxygen level up. They were going to admit me to the hospital. I had not been in the hospital or had anything done in years and years, everything I did was all outpatient. I had never spent any time at all there. They rolled me in and put me in a wheelchair and I said, I can walk and they said, “No, this is procedure”, put me in a wheelchair. So they rolled me up and they opened the doors to the third floor. When I got off the third floor, I could actually feel the actual spirit of death. It was on that third floor and I actually could feel it and I knew that if I stayed on that third floor, I had to change the atmosphere. I had to change the atmosphere of that third floor for sure. What I started to do and it’s what I’m getting ready to tell you.
I was very weak. I didn’t know it but I had doubled pneumonia; my lungs were full and I could hardly breathe. They hooked the oxygen up to me. As they put me into my room it was late afternoon and the worst part of the whole thing was that late afternoon and the whole night and I could actually feel the spirit of death all through the building and I knew that the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy but I also knew my covenant with God. So I knew, “I got to change the atmosphere in my room” and so I started doing what I know to do, to change an atmosphere. John, you know several times we’ve changed atmospheres in anywhere we went to minister in Africa, we have changed those atmospheres, just by the music we play, the Word that we listen to and watching maybe a video.
I remember one time while in South Africa, me and John were up at one of the cabins and we had watched Norval Hayes talk about changing an atmosphere. And so I knew in that hotel room, I mean that hospital room, I had to change the atmosphere. My doctor came in, I was so weak that I didn’t want to read anything, but I’ve always loved good music. I loved the music that you just played; the worship team from HFCC there; you did a such an awesome to bring a spirit of an atmosphere in your location, but not in your location, I can hear it here too. I started playing some music and the first song that I that I played was a song called, “Our God Reigns Here”. I’ve actually brought that to South Africa a long time ago. I just want to read you a couple of the words that are coming over, that changed the atmosphere, “Spirit of death, you have no place here.” That’s the first line of the song. “I command you to leave in Jesus’ name.” Now, I couldn’t read Word, but I could listen to music and I could also let it minister to me. So when it’s saying and I’m trying to sing along with it as much as I can, “Spirit of fear, you have no place here. I command you to leave in Jesus’ name.” I could feel the spirit and the atmosphere changing in my room, even though I could still feel the spirit of death in the third floor; it was not in my room. When my doctor came in, she said, “I’m gonna do some checking on you. I’m your doctor.” I said, “I need to ask you one question.” I’m still changing the atmosphere. So I asked her, I said, “Are you born again? Do you have Jesus in your heart? If not, I don’t want you touching me.” She looked at me and she said, “Well, there’s not a problem, me touching you. Because I do have Jesus in my heart.” I did not have one doctor or one nurse that was not born again the whole time I was in the hospital.
Now they had already told me most of people going in, it’s usually a 10 to 30 day into the hospital and they said a lot of people are not even coming out of the hospital. So I knew by changing my atmosphere, I did not receive that at all I received and here’s what I told her, I said, “Doctor, you give me the doc pills, I’ll take the Gos’pills’ (Gospels) and we’ll beat this quickly.” And she grabbed my hands and she agreed with me, therefore, two in agreement can change any kind of an atmosphere.
Now, whatever you’re going through over there, it might not have been the COVID, it might be, it could be financial, it could be your children, it doesn’t matter what it is, the thing of it is, you change the atmosphere and you quote the Word of God and you’ll have a victory.
Well, about the second day, I started being able to read the Word. I started taking, and I started writing scriptures down, I wrote about four pages of scriptures down. Every time I’d read one, I would say, “I receive that into my spirit. I receive that into my flesh. And I command my body to react to the Word and not the symptom.” I could actually feel the presence of God with me there, the whole time, because He never leaves us or forsakes us. I started getting better. My doctor came in, she said, “You look much better.” They start checking my vitals, all my vitals are checking okay. she said, “I don’t think you need all the oxygen now.” So she turned the oxygen down and I watched her. She said, “Now if you need this again, go over and turn it back up.” And I said “I don’t think I’ll need it again, by faith. I’m not going to need it at all.” Day by day, I could feel my strength coming back. Now there are two things that COVID did in my body, I had the double pneumonia, I couldn’t breathe, and I lost all appetite. I lost 26 pounds. Also, I had no appetite at all. But the other thing it zaps you of your strength.
I could feel my strength coming back, my appetite coming a little bit by time and I just kept confessing, I had an appetite. I couldn’t sleep at all. So all night long I lay there. Now, if you all know me and Brother Jerry, and you do, we’re very active people. So sticking us in a hospital room and having to sit there 24 hours a day; that’s torture. So I told the devil, “I’m going to make you pay for that.” Every time the devil attacks you, make him pay. That’s what I determined. I turned on, I had my iPhone, and so I turned it on and and I said, Lord, “What do I need to do now?” And He said, “You go to Brother Hagin’s healing school, and you listen to his one and a half-hour teaching on healing.” So sure enough, I went to YouTube, I found Brother Hagin, I found his teaching on healing, It was around an hour and a half long. I started listening to it. Every time it would say something that I needed, I’d say “I received that brother Hagin, I received it into my life, I received that Holy Spirit, I receive it into my body now.” I could actually feel the power of the Word, purging things out of my body, purging the sickness and the disease.
Now also, I had a prayer cloth and I made sure that that prayer cloth was on my body at all times because I believe that the anointing of God can be in that prayer cloth and it’ll remind me of what my part is supposed to be. That is quoting the Word, living the Word and doing the Word. Every time one of the nurses would come in, they’d say, “What are you listening to?” And I’d have to turn off my little iPhone. Then they would do whatever procedure they were doing. Whether it was a shot, or whatever it was, they were going to do, they did their part. Soon as they left, I turned my praise and worship back on or the message back on, which was Brother Hagin at that time. Every one of them would say, “So who are you listening to?” And I’d say, “Well, I’m listening to healing scriptures and healing teaching by Brother Kenneth Hagin, and I’m receiving it into my body. So what you’re doing and what God’s doing, we’ll get out of here quickly.” It was the fourth day they came in, and my doctor came in and she said, “Joseph, you don’t need any oxygen at all.” I’d already been off the oxygen for probably a day I just went over there and turned it off, and had no problem breathing at all. Breathing, normal, no cough. Still was weak, but I knew every time I listened to any teaching on healing and was receiving it, that my body was receiving more and more strength.
She said, “Well, we’re getting ready to move you to the fifth floor.” Well, I don’t know how many of you in Africa know a lot of you do the same thing, you don’t like it when you go to a hotel room, and you get all your suits and your clothes hung up. Then something’s not working right; the toilet or there is no hot water. They say, “We’re gonna move you to another room” and you say, “Oh, no, you know. I’ve got everything situated like I want it. You know, my player is here, my water is here, you know. My phone is here, communication is going really good.” And they say, “Oh no, no, no. You want to move.” And so, I just paused, “Why do I want to move?” They said, “You are going off the floor of death, as you would call it and you are going into the executive suites on the fifth floor.”
They moved me to a bigger room on the fifth floor where no COVID patients are at all. What’s happening? In four days I beat it, in five days I come out of the hospital. Amen. Now, that is because what? Well, I’m going to tell you. What did I do in those five days? I sang and listened to the Word of God played through music, I watched YouTube of many ministers on healing on my iPhone, I read my Bible and then put the scriptures down so I could go back and read them over and over. I quoted from my mouth; “I will be better and I will not die, I will live and I will live healthy.” You can see right now, I have no symptoms, I have nothing in my system at all. I have all my strength back and I have gained about ten pounds back. But I don’t want to gain the whole 26, I’m going to use that as a blessing. Amen. What am I saying? What I’m saying is, you don’t have to put up with the attacks of the devil.
I want to take you into the Word about continuing in His Word. When I read those scriptures in John eight, 31 and 32. Verse 32 says 32And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32 NKJV). The truth is the only thing that will set you free, it doesn’t matter if it’s finances, healing or whatever it is. If there’s any kind of bondage there the true Word of God, the true Spirit of God will set you free. So you have to continually keep hearing God and everybody knows in Deuteronomy 28 one and two, it says hear Me today talking about hearing the Lord and then just do what He tells you to do. You know sometimes we don’t understand. You said, “Well Brother Joe how did that hit you?” The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. If you’re a threat to him, he’s going to try to attack you but it will not have the effects that he wants. He wants to steal, kill and destroy.
God wants you to have abundant overflowing life and that’s all it is right there. His covenant with you, He’s with you all the time. So whatever you are going through in South Africa, Botswana wherever you’re at, or you’re here in this building, it doesn’t matter what colour you are, doesn’t matter what nationality you are. That has nothing to do with receiving God’s Word in your life and making it and seeing it work in everything.
Now we do this in finances, we’ve done it in healing. I had never been able to do Healing School, which we do here at the church, I’ve never been able to do that in first person. I’d always been able to quote scriptures and use somebody else’s testimony about how they received a miraculous healing like Brother Jerry. He received a miraculous healing from a full-blown stroke, no symptoms at all now, and I could use him. I never was able to use myself until that happened. So when I did healing school, not many months back, I taught on, what did I do from the time I went in, till the time I came out and I didn’t stop when I came out, because not all my strength was back. I still wasn’t sleeping real good so I found every scripture on sweet sleep. I found every scripture on having strength. The joy of the Lord is my strength. So I’d get up and just laugh at the devil right in my bedroom; nobody else hearing it and I’d say, “There’s my joy Lord, and my strength is here too.” Day by day, I could feel the strength and thanks coming back in. He didn’t steal one penny from me on my finances with putting that on my body because my insurance paid everything. Glory to God!
The COVID came, I wrote this down, right at the last, now I want you to listen. COVID came for three reasons. Number one, to kill the believer. Number two to steal your finances and number three was to cause splits and contention and confusion in the body of Christ. You wouldn’t realize how much COVID in the States has caused contention in the churches in the body of Christ. These are people that are going to have to renew their mind to what God says and not let it be an issue that the devil can use.
I’m so excited about being able to minister to you what God did for me because I never been able to minister on that type. Now, I don’t want any of those symptoms again. All right, God didn’t put it on me. The first thing I did in that hospital room, I let the devil know where COVID came from. It did not come from God. He was not trying to teach me anything. It came from the devil to steal, kill, and destroy. I told that spirit of death, “You’re not welcome in this room here. It’s off-limits to you. Amen.
You’ll have to do the same thing to some things that are happening all over your area, whatever you’re going through. The church, be praying for Canada, they’re going through some real challenges in Canada. We’re ministering to every one of them. We’re standing with them, quote the Word, and they will have victory in Jesus’ name. Can I get an amen on that? I heard some amen’s and I heard it from Africa. Heard it in my spirit, Amen. I’m so excited about everything that’s going on in Africa.
Let me give you a few more scriptures that I used. When I was actually in the hospital room, the first thing I did – and I’m going to send this, I’m going to send the words to the song to Brother John. Because the one song I sang the most in there was Our God Reigns Here and all of you can pull it up on YouTube, it’s by John Waller. All you got to do is pull it up and play it. But the only one thing is, sometimes when it shows you the word, it misplaced that first thing: it is actually the spirit of death, in some translations it didn’t put death in there, but the true word that John sung it with, was a “spirit of death, you’re not welcome here.”
But what I did is, I made a whole outline. And I just said, I talked about: How did I change an atmosphere? And then I told you a while ago I listened to good gospel music. I didn’t listen to anything, I didn’t let anything go into my spirit or my ears, that wasn’t the Word of God. I didn’t care who came in, any doctor that came in I didn’t know, I asked him if they were born again – nurses, doctors. I only had one foreign doctor came in, that I don’t think was born again. I just let my light shine to him. But I didn’t let him touch me or do anything for me.
Who is a sickness from? Immediately, I took and quoted the devil John 10:10 and 11. Then I quoted him Acts 10:38; 38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good. Only good. So I knew I wasn’t in there. That wasn’t good. So, God didn’t put it on me, but the devil did. And healing all that were oppressed by the devil, and God was with him (Acts 10:38 ESV). So what I did, I just changed it a little bit and said, how God anointed Joseph, of Hemrid Oklahoma, with the Holy Ghost in power, who went about doing good and healing all them – and I got my own hands right on my head, because it said, if the believer lays hands on the sick, they shall recover; I laid my hands right on my head and said: “I am a believer, and I am going to recover. So, therefore, my hands are doing what they’re called to do.” I changed the atmosphere in that room from any kind of a doubt to nothing but a positive atmosphere.
I went down to John, the third John, 1 and 2 1Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper in all things and be in good health. (3 John 1 KJV) How could God put it on me, if He wishes all prosper and be in good health? So He told me two things right then. He said, “Number one, Joe, you won’t lose any finances over this. And number two, you’re going to be healed”, and I was. Amen. I chose it. Listen, a very important part I wrote right under that scripture: I made a choice. You look at me right now, all you South Africans, my family, you have to make the same choice I do. We’re not exempt from having to make a choice. We just are exempt from the devil destroying us because we have the right answers. That’s what you need to believe, amen.
In Psalms 103. 1Bless the Lord, O my soul: He’s gonna bless me, not curse me. And all that is within me, bless His holy name. 2Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits (Psalm 103:1-2 KJV). That’s all I had to remember in that room, I had to remember His benefits. What are His benefits? I am healed; I’m set free; I’m saved; I’m full of the Holy Spirit; I can hear God; I can do what He tells me any time He tells me. And so, therefore, I remembered His benefits 3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases (Psalm 103:3 KJV).
COVID is a disease. God said, I bless you, and I’ll heal you from that. Spiritual authority, I knew when I walked into that third floor, I had a spiritual authority that probably a lot of the people on that third floor, maybe didn’t know. But I knew it, because in Luke 10:19 it said, Behold, I give you, me, Joe McCroskey, in that third floor, in that room, He gave me the power to tread upon the serpent, scorpions, and over all powers of the enemy (Luke 10:19 KJV). I’m telling you the power of the enemy was in there, but it had no effect. It couldn’t come in my room. It had to stay outside. Every time a door would be open, it was not allowed. There was a bloodline there, there was a covenant there, he could not come past that bloodline.
I’m getting excited, amen. I hope you’re shouting in South Africa, okay. Because I’m excited. Not because I had something and I conquered it but yes, I conquered it. But I’m not praising God because I had it, I’m praising God because I knew what to do. And He told me and showed me what to do. Amen. I’m telling you, we are in for some good times. There are so many good things happening, just like what we are doing right now. You understand we are going to Africa? We are preaching to you from Crowley Texas to Africa, so look what good is happening when the devil is trying to make all havoc; but no, we will take what is good from God and we will run with it. Hallelujah.
Then I went and I was looking with my spiritual authority, then I went right down and I looked at how I can use the name of Jesus because He has given me that. I had only one thing I had to use, I had one nurse that would come in and this one nurse, all the other nurses were very pleasant, but what she had to do to me made it not pleasant. She had to give me a shot in the stomach. Every time she would come in, and I got to know her, and I told her, I said; “I think you’re losing my favour for you because every time I see you come in I know what you’re going to do.” She said; “Yes, but I am blessing you.” When she said that I thought; “Yeah, they’re doing it for a reason.” I didn’t like the shots in the stomach. Arms? No problem. All the other stuff they did, no problem, but when I saw her come in, I want to put my cross up and say; “Out, out, out.” But I didn’t, I did what my doctor told me to do. How many know, you got to have faith, you got to know God is directing them too. That’s what I did, I said; “A doctor will not touch me, that God has not already shown them what to do and how to do it.” Amen.
Spiritual authority. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. I knew that all my power that I was getting in that hospital room was from Him, it was not on my own accord, it was through my choices but I knew that it was His power that was running through my veins. Put on the whole armour of God. Every time the devil would try to attack and you know, as the people would come in, my doctor came in on that last day and they said; “Now, Joe, we have one more test that we have to do. We need to let you walk and then test your breathing after you have walked and you have done some exercises and things like that.” I said; “No problem.” I did it and came back and she said; “You will need no oxygen at your house.” Because most people they sent home were still on oxygen or a ventilator, they wouldn’t even let them leave, but on the oxygen level, they made them take a tank home to their houses. I told her, I said; “I’m not going to need to do that because I’m not going to be at that house for very long.” In other words, “I’m going home and I’ll do what you tell me if you say ‘stay indoors for ten days’, I will and then I’ll call my own doctor.”
When I went to my own doctor, he is a spirit-filled person, he said; “Joe, if I get COVID”, and I said; “You won’t Doc”. See, I made a confession over him and he said; “I receive that” but he said; “If I do, I want your plasma” and I said; “Doc, why would you want my plasma?” He said; “Because you’ve got two type of plasma, you’ve got regular blood and you’ve got spiritual blood and I want that flowing through my veins.” Amen. I said; “Doc, I’ll assure you, if you get it, I’ll give you my plasma.”
What am I saying? People, we can be a light anywhere we go, it doesn’t matter where we go; we can be a light. I’m going to give you a few more scriptures. The whole time I went into that room, from the very beginning, I prayed in the Holy Spirit. That was probably one of my best weapons of warfare there is; I prayed in the Holy Spirit. When I didn’t feel like reading the Word, that first day and a half I would pray in the Holy Spirit and I could feel it building me up; spiritually and physically. I kept praying in the Spirit, praying in the Spirit. Then every once in a while God would give me an interpretation of my own praying in the Spirit. He would say “Lean to the Word, not your understanding. Don’t look at sight, only live by faith.” How many know, we know all that, it’s encouraging when you are praying in the Spirit and it comes right up, up, out of you. I want to tell you, people, the reason it will come up out of you is because you put it in you. By continuing in the Word is what we are talking about. You continue to put things inside that when the challenge and the test comes from the devil, it will automatically come up out of you. I didn’t have to think of scriptures, I didn’t really have to sit there and wonder; “Did God do this or did the devil do this?” I already knew. Because I had already deposited it in there, it’s all deposited in you.
That is why it is so important this weekend, everything you do this weekend, the financial course you get right to hear, take it and put it in there. When it is a financial challenge comes up, you already know that Word come and take over if it’s a symptom you can take my message today and say, “I remember what Brother Joe said, he just said about his spirit man came these scriptures, there was no negative coming out of my mouth at all.” None at all, even before I went to the hospital, I was confessing that I’ll beat this and I will go home and I won’t even have to go in, I did have to go in, but it did not change my confession. I didn’t say, “Where was God? You know I confessed three times, I am still in this hospital.” No, what I did was I said, “I’m gonna confess the Word and I’m gonna beat this.” And we did.
I will give you a few more scriptures. Jude 1 verse 20, 20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. 21Keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 1:20-21 KJV). The grace and the mercy was there. Hebrews, 1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1 KJV). Even when I first went in there, I said, “I see myself heal, I see myself walking out of this hospital and being a light and laying hands on anybody that has COVID.” Amen.
Last weekend, we went and did a graduation. There was a young man there. I don’t know what age he was. He had COVID really bad. He came up, said Brother Joe, “Would you lay hands on me? I said, “Sure, I’ll have no fear of COVID at all.” That’s what my hands were for. I laid my hands on him and then I gave him something. And I don’t think I have mine with me. But my mask, I don’t know if you start to wear the mask in South Africa. But we had some made up and it says, Still blessed and highly favoured.
Well, I went into the little Walmart store not long ago. When I got ready to go in the girl there, I trade there all time, so it’s a grocery store type, they know me. She said, “Joe, you don’t have your mask on.” I said, “I don’t have a mask.” She said, “Well, I’ll give you a mask.” She pulled one of those paper ones out. And I said, “No, no, no, no.” I said, “I have a prayer cloth.” So I took my mask out. I put it over my face. I said, “Now, this is my prayer cloth, I don’t have the mask, I have a prayer cloth. I had prayed over them.” And then put it on my body, that every time that thing was on and I had to wear it into a store or whatever; It was a prayer mask. What does a prayer mask do? Well according to Acts, it takes care of diseases, it takes care of evil spirits, it’s anything you need. All it is is reminding you of your covenant with God. She said, “I like that, I really like that. I’m going to use it.” What’s happening? The lights are coming out. I was able to witness to her, about my God has protection for me and here’s the form it’s in.
Well, you know, then we went to do a meeting up into Wyoming. When we went up there, we were down at breakfast early that morning and one of the Indian nations, one of the chiefs or higher up in the nation, for one of the reservations was sitting there and I talked to him a little bit. I was having breakfast and I think Brother Jerry and Eric came down a little later. I talked to him and asked him what’s going on on the reservations. He told me, so it’s been very bad on the reservations and said, you know, we’re trying to get it underhand and everything a lot of people are passing away. And it’s just like, I mean, the whole reservation, a lot of them have it, they don’t really know a lot of Word of faith in certain areas, you know, up there. There were two people that came in to meet with him. And they had on uniforms, most like our military uniforms. But I didn’t know I didn’t recognize the uniform.
So when they got through the meeting with the guy from the reservation, I went over and I said, “So what form of military are you with?” And they say, “Well, we don’t call it Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Air Force, we don’t call it that, but we are a branch and we’re over the diseases.” And so I said, “Well, I like your uniforms.” And I said, she said, “So what are you here for now?” “So we’re up here, preaching the Gospel.” And then I told her, I said, “I do want to show you my prayer cloth.” Because we had to wear him in that hotel. If we went to get some food in the restaurant, you had to wear it in there, and then you could take it off. And she said, “Can I use that on the reservations because I’m a believer?” Now I didn’t know she was a believer, God just led me there. I shared with her that I don’t look at the mask, as a mask. I look at it as a prayer cloth. Amen.
Be believing for any of the areas that you have in your country that are really believing for a lot of healings, you know, believe that they receive what God’s Word does and we can get that in the midst of them.
You know you said, “Well, Brother, Joe, you know, you talked about going to Wyoming?” Well, we were going to go at first, and the Pastor called us and he said, “My people in my church, all of them have COVID”. So Brother Jerry and myself, they cancelled the meetings and said, “You won’t be able to come.” So when we got up there this time, the State of Wyoming had released him to have a bigger meeting, and it was packed out. There was healing in the place, we have seen all kinds of healings. But what I’m saying is, you have to be a witness everywhere you have to go, you have to receive the Word and keep your mind renewed, that no matter what you’re seeing on the television, or no matter what you’re seeing in your country, or in another country, it’s not going to stop the Word of God. Right now we’re proving that. I’m preaching to you right now in South Africa, and maybe other places because I don’t know where all this is going to go. But I’m going to tell you, it’s not stopping us from sharing the Word and letting our light shine.
I’m going to tell you, I’m so excited for what’s happening in your church. John, I’m so proud of you and all the congregation, you know my love for all of you. I can feel it right now. I’m tingling all over my body, that I can’t wait to see you face to face again. I know you were praying for us, I know you still are. Because I know how South Africans pray. And I’ll tell you, I can hardly wait until we’re back over there on South African ground. Because you know, when you are not being in a place for a while you miss it, it’s almost like you’re missing your home. When you get back, you want to just get down and kiss the ground.
Our whole staff is believing for the time all this is over. It’s all opened up and we’re going back into the mission fields. And we’re spreading more hope than we ever have before. Because you have to remember, you sow hope everywhere you go. There are people out there that have no hope. There were people in that hospital, and what really blessed me was when I left that hospital, my nurses and them came down and said, “Mr Joe, you were such a light to us because we’re not seeing that. We’re seeing people die every day. We’re seeing people not getting over this or they’re going home and they’re still on oxygen and then some of them don’t make it even after they go home. And you came in because you had an answer for it.” And they knew what that answer was, I was not ashamed of telling them in any form, that God was the Healer, nobody else. I love you people. I can’t say any more. I can give you more and more scripture.
John, I will send my outline to you. I will send the words to the song to you, it is right here before me. So Monday morning, I will send them to you and Matt, anybody that wants a copy can have them. If you know somebody has COVID give it to them, they’ll get healed just like I did, they’ll have no effects of it. You don’t want the effects of COVID no more than you want the effects of malaria. Malaria, if you get it, you don’t want the effects of it. You don’t want malaria so we want to be healed wholly. That’s the same thing with COVID or anything else.
My time is just about up. I got about 10 more minutes. But what I want is, I want to see you guys rise up in your chairs. And I want to see you greet me because now I’m looking at your monitor where I had to watch my camera to preach to you. So when I can see you guys starting to get up. Everybody up. Everybody up. Wave to me. I can feel it. I’m about to cry. I can feel it. I’m watching your monitor now. I can see Reagan, I can see all the ones on that front row. Amen. I can hear everybody, I see you. Here’s a Mission Director there. Oh, I see the one with the little shiny bald head, I know who that is; that’s Brynn, that’s Brynn, that’s got to be Brynn. [Brother Joe laughing]
Oh, hallelujah. I love you. I can’t say any more. I’m going to give you…on my clock, it’s 10:36. So I’m going to go ahead and let you have a little more of a break because we are starting a little bit early. Justin, come on, Eric. Come on. Eric’s coming. [They’re waving to us]
