God Is Answering Session 2 – Ps John Bendixen (WTB)

Scripture reference: Ezekiel 28:11-19 (NKJV); Isaiah 14:12-17 (NKJV)

Praise the Lord, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus, that your presence is here through the mighty Person of the Holy Spirit and that everything that is said and done, already has been and will be in this service, be to Your glory and to our growth. We thank you for it right now that every ear will hear, every heart will receive what You have to say today, in Jesus Name. Amen. You may be seated.

How are you all today? You’re good? Praise the Lord, I am blessed, hallelujah.

First of all, let me just, I know I gave you a video clip last week, but I just want to say in person, thank you for your very kind words, lots of letters, lots of cards, lots of gifts, thank you for blessing me in a very big moment. Now whenever there is a naught behind a birthday, it’s kind of significant, but when it is one, two, three, and I won’t go beyond that, but you know when there is a naught, it is always significant. And that doesn’t mean your life is naught, but you know.

Thank you, I have a box full of everybody’s cards, their letters, some people – the best they could do is, put a bunch of sticky’s together and write me a note on three or four sticky’s, telling me what this ministry and what God has done through us, me to them to you, for all your letters and your beautiful words. I said to Pastor Sharon, it moved me so deeply, that I would read a few and then I’d end up, just being very emotional before the Lord about it, eventually after days of doing that, I said to Sharon, you know if nothing else in my life is relevant, I can die and take my box with me to heaven and say “look here’s what happened while I was on the earth, this is the people that I touched their lives, and I did what You told me to do” you know. Thank you, it is really wonderful, I keep all of those letters in the box, that I can pray over that God will bless your life, and continue to prosper you and protect you. Amen, hallelujah.

Pastor Sharon did an amazing job over the last couple of weeks of ministering to you about the Garden of Eden and about Satan himself, and about Lucifer, and so, I have my own words that I must speak to you, and it uses those words, or those scriptures as a foundation.

I have been giving some musings and some meditations. A musing is just really how you can apply the Word of God in your life, and thinking about you know, “Lord is there something about the political situation, about the economic situation, about things that are going on, it kind of begins with a musing, and then it goes into meditation, where you take the Word of God and apply the Word to your thoughts and your thinking, and you bring everything that you think under subjection to the Word of God. Amen.

That is what needs to happen. If you don’t bring your thoughts under the authority of God’s Word, then they just remain musings, that will eventually create a movement in your life, in the wrong direction. Musings create movement. Meditation also creates movement, but it creates movement in the right direction of your life, because that is how you apply the Word. I am already teaching very well.

Any time when you find yourself musing, and you don’t have a scripture or a Word or a Bible reference or a spiritual principle that you apply to your musing, and you must know that there is a movement that is going to happen to your thinking, that is going to take you in a direction of your thinking, not in the direction of the Word. Whenever you’re thinking about something, you have to meditate on the Word that will apply to your thinking. Amen.

Now that is pretty good already hey? Should I go home? I mean that is enough to live by. [Pastor John laughing] I have been doing some musings and some meditations about, about and of course when you have a major birthday, it tends to have that effect on you, you tend to have the reflection on things that have been and things that are still to be. Certainly, something that has become more and more real to me, from the time that the Coronavirus came into the earth, is that the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only institution in the universe that has answers for mankind. There is no economic individual, there is no medical individual, there is no politician or anybody that has got any magic bullet that can save humanity. The only salvation for humanity is Jesus, and the church because we represent Jesus, Amen.

The only way the church becomes relevant, is when the church is prepared to be Jesus on the earth, then you get to be relevant. If you are not Jesus on the earth, then you are not relevant, and then all of the thoughts and all of the things that happen in your life, aren’t really worth much. Now, if I say something today that you don’t agree with, I encourage you, and I challenge you to go to the Bible and see if I am telling the truth. Don’t take my word for it, go and study it in the Bible for yourself, and you can go, then you can see for yourself.

I am going to start with a fairly radical statement, and I am going to say the most, the smartest man that ever lived on the earth, was Jesus. Not because He was God, I am talking about man. The Man Jesus was the smartest man on the earth. I make it without apology, and with lots of scripture to actually back my statement.

I am now talking about a man. There was nobody there to do an IQ test of how much IQ Jesus had, there was nobody there at that time to do an EQ test of what Jesus would have tested it as EQ. How can you say that Jesus was the smartest man that has ever lived at that point and that will ever live? Because here is where His smarts came from. He only said what He heard the Father saying, He only did what He saw the Father do. All of His life was completely submitted to the will of the Father. That makes Him singularly the smartest man that ever lived. There is no smarter thing that anybody can do than to live your life for Jesus, for the Father. That’s the smartest thing.

Let me tell you, if you’re in a business deal and you walk into a room, and there are very highly educated people with many degrees and many successful business people in the room, that seem to have a lot of knowledge and therefore, and may have a very high IQ, they may have a very high EQ, they might have a lot of things that actually is going for them, and so in the natural sense they might be someone you should listen to because they are smart.

When you walk into the room with the Holy Spirit alive in you, you became the smartest man in the room, not them. What they might say, might be valuable, but it doesn’t make them smart. If you obey Jesus, you become the smartest man in the room. I did many business deals, where the smartest people in the industry had manipulated their influence, had manipulated the system and the smartest people told me “there is no ways you can get the deal” I went to pray, God gave me a strategy, I got the deal, I don’t care how smart they were, I don’t care how much influence they had, political and any other sense, I don’t care what they did behind the scenes, when I came into the equation, I brought the smarts of Jesus with me, and I was able to get things done that no one else could get done, because I became the smartest man in the room. Hallelujah. I don’t talk about IQ or EQ, I talk about God, living in me. Hallelujah.

I’ll tell you, there is an ancient confrontation that is going on right now, and you and I were born to an ancient confrontation, I can’t help that, I can’t change that, it is what it is. When you were born into the earth, you were born into an ancient confrontation. And the ancient confrontation was between the will of two beings. The will of an angel that was created by God with all the glory shining through him and God Himself, and God placed His will into the will of this created being. I read you the scripture of the creation of this being, I know Pastor Sharon read it to you a couple of weeks ago, but this is my message, not her message, and so I must read the same scripture to you.

Ezekiel 28, 11Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 12“Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. 14“You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; this is God speaking to the angel, Lucifer. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity (a twisted way) was found in you. 16 “By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; it’s an important thing by the abundance of your trading. I’m going to talk about the abundance of trading in a minute. Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub. What was he covering? He was the head of all angels and created beings. He was only second to the Godhead in the universe. 17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you. 18 “You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities. Twisted ways, by the twisted way of your trading. By the iniquity of your trading; therefore I brought fire from your midst; it devoured you. (Ezekiel 28:16-18 NKJV)

Fire of the will of God that was in him for His glory, the power of that fire just consumed him the minute his will went against the will of God, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. 19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no more. (Ezekiel 28:19 NKJV)

Now that was the beginning of Satan. What was his trading, what was his authority? Well, God created him with this beauty, and he was in the presence of God and the beauty he was created with was designed to receive and absorb and reflect through his beauty into all other beings. He was also created with music and worship inside of him, and so again I just want to say that I am not scared of science, because God’s Word and science should both actually complement each other. This passage of scripture will indicate that there were beings that were created and were alive before the current earth that we live in existed. Now we think the earth is six thousand years old, but this earth and the universe and the planets in the system were created by God a long time ago and there is indication in these scripture that there were beings on the earth before we were recreated.

When people do carbon dating and say there were animals and beings so many million years ago, I am not disputing the science of it because we don’t know how ancient God is. You can’t measure the ancient God, the ancient One, and you can’t measure what He created on the earth till he recreated the earth which was without form and without and it was void. That means that there was something that was there before that became void of something. I don’t want to get into a whole teaching on that today, but you know I am not, doesn’t plague me if people say, well there was fossils on the earth. The problem is they make a spiritual theory out of it to justify their worship, or their lack of worship to God. They interpret science and create a religion from science whereas they should turn to God and then have science show them how ancient God is and the greatness of God, Amen. Anyway, that was just for nothing. Praise the Lord.

We are born into an ancient confrontation, it’s a confrontation of two wills. Isaiah chapter fourteen 12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.16 “Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms,17 Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities, Who did not open the house of his prisoners?’ (Isaiah 14:12-17 NKJV)

Here’s a man who, or here’s a being that is, the prophet refers to this being as a man, but this person was in the stars of God, he was in the beginning of the congregation, so there is Bible interpretation that will allow you to see how this is the devil, this is Lucifer.

We are in a moment in time, and I reflect and I ask; the ancient ones that are in the heavenlies, celestial beings, as well as believers that died and gone to heaven, and are now as the Bible calls them part of a great cloud of witnesses. I wonder what they will say about us, in this time that we are alive, and what impact we made on the earth, and what our job is on the earth, and whether we did what God said we should do, while we’re on the earth. The Bible speaks in Hebrews 11 of people that lived in faith, and they were murdered, they were killed, they died with a faith in their hearts and not actually seeing the end of their faith because in their hearts they believed that God would do something on the earth, that they recognize that only God could do, but they died before the saw the outcome of their faith, but they died nevertheless in faith.

We might think, we’re having a rough time of what’s going on, on the earth right now why we might be having a rough time right now because we can’t go on the holidays that we planned, or we can’t go and buy in the shops what we would like to have bought in the shops over this period of time.

Since mankind has been, there has been a lot of noble, honourable, value driven men that have given their lives in war. In the last hundred years there’s been multiple wars on the earth, First World War, Second World War. There have been wars across the earth, different nations, civil wars. If you just even look today, if you and I could go and walk in Syria and see the poverty in Syria, and places like Lebanon, and places in the Middle east, never mind in Africa, where there is just a lot of people living in great poverty, and great despair, trying to live from day to day. We get worried about our next holiday. I have to still ask myself the question, am I still doing what God has called me to do in this time on the earth? When I go and stand before the Ancient Ones, and I stand before God Himself, and I stand before the great crowd of witnesses who are watching, even as we do on the earth now, they are watching. Will I be able to say, I did my part, in this time?

I referred to an event that happened not so long ago, it’s about twenty year now, that a couple of airplanes were flown into the World Trade Centre. In the chaos of those airplanes flying into the World Trade Centre, you had men, that were firefighters, that were what you call first responders, they took their fire engines, and they took their hoses and they put their helmets on, and they were carrying things, and they were running into buildings because that was their training, that was what they was demanded to do. They were running into buildings that were fifty stories high, and they were taking these things and they weren’t certain of what the outcome of their future was going to be, and indeed many, many of those men ended up, whilst doing to save others, they ended up perishing, giving their lives. Honourable for sure. Most value driven, worthy people for sure.

I want to show you the impact. Two firemen running one behind each other or side by side with hosepipes on them, on their backs, and are going to save a person. One of those people has Jesus in his heart, and while he is running up the stairs, he is worshiping and praying to God, for strength and asking Him to help, and asking Him as he is working. His spirit is alive to God, leading him, guiding him, and he is doing work. Right next to him is another man who has no God, no acknowledgement of God and doesn’t believe in God, but he is honourable and worthy in what he is doing. The Towers fall down and they both die. One of them goes to spend eternity with Jesus, the other one goes to spend eternity separated from Jesus and the Father. One of them is going to be alive forever, the other one is going to be dead forever. Death being separated from the source of life. It’s not separated from your body even though your body may cease to exist, you live eternally where your choices now take you.

You might say to me, Pastor John, who are you to say that someone who gives so much honour and so much value and is so noble in what they do is not going to be in heaven? Well, the Bible says, Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Jesus. It doesn’t matter if he believed in Buddha while running up those stairs, or he was some other faith person. If he did not make Jesus Lord and Saviour of his life, and acknowledge what Jesus did, then he will be separated from Jesus for eternity. Because Jesus is the only one who came to die, and then was resurrected in power, by the Father. Hallelujah.

I stand accountable before God, I stand accountable before Him, I stand accountable to Him for what He called me to, I stand accountable for Him right now in this time where there is a virus, a plague that is plaguing the earth, and the economies of the world are in real serious trouble.

America is printing paper money, to print their way out of a problem. There are many organizations in the world that are really struggling and suffering in order to actually keep the economies going, and yet, for example the statistics in America is that there are more people out of work in America now, than the great depression. That’s quite something.

Ok, so we have a part to play, and we as the church is the most powerful institution in the universe, and there is no one else that can make a difference like the church can. It all depends on where we find ourselves and what we do.

Just yesterday, I was cycling on my bike and I had my glasses on, I wasn’t cycling with my contact lenses in, just cycling with my glasses on, and when you have body heat, but the outside temperature is cooler, you have a vapor and so then you get foggy on your glasses. Right? I got foggy glasses, and I just had this thought. The Bible talks about the life of man is a vapor, that actually in the scope of eternity, if you can imagine a movie that is fast forwarded, and you do this, like 5 years in the space of 30 seconds, like movies do – summer, spring, winter, autumn, summer, spring, winter, autumn, summer, spring – and you can see that all, and you can show a whole 10 years’ worth of seasonal changes in a fast forward movie. Well in eternity, your life is that fast. It’s here, and it’s gone. It’s awesome though, and amazing though that even though our life is like a vapor, what we do with our will and our worship at that time, is everything for eternity. It’s everything.

If we think that actually our life should be about accumulating wealth for generational transfer. There is a lot that can happen between your making wealth now, and by the time that you don’t even exist. I was thinking about it the other day. If I die, I have a will and I will leave things to my family. But when I am in heaven, I will not even actually care about that. I had this imagination, I had this thought you know, I had this thought of, I am dead. How many years that is from today? Maybe another 60 years, whatever, but I had this thought of if I am 120 and I die, then my kids will be a 100, or Brynn will be a 100 and Garth will be 98 or whatever the case might be. I can imagine these old two men standing looking at my body, that’s now gone, and say: “He lived a good life, and he left us with a will that’s made us rich, but we have our own wealth now, anyway, and their kids are 80 years old, or 75 years old, you know, and then they have got kids that, you know maybe 30, 40 years old, you know, and they all like: Wasn’t he a grand man, and I am in heaven thinking, what are you all fussing about? He left his will to us. So what?

What does it mean to me when I am gone? That you have money that I left you when I’m gone. What does it mean to me? The thing that means more to me, is that they have the Word of God, and they were living for God, because then when I die, I know that pretty soon in that vapor, – hey what a wonderful man – they are going to arrive in heaven and say “Hey Dad!”, and it will seem like, whssh [Pastor John snaps his fingers]

“Hey Dad, you got here before us.” “Well it’s the way it is supposed to be boy, let me go and introduce you to Paul and Peter, I just got through meeting them when you got here” “But dad, that was 20 years ago!” “No, no, in heavenly time I just got here.” Hallelujah.

We are born into an eternal confrontation, and I am nearly finished with my message. A half an hour is just not enough for me, but it will have to do. The eternal confrontation is about will. It’s about will. Your will, God’s will. It’s about your ways, and God’s ways. It’s about worship, it’s about whether you live a wonderful life, and it’s about what you work.

If you have watched one of my Collective Greatness moments, or it might have been a TBN session that I did, I talked about work and the things that you do while you are alive, and the work that you do. Anyway, I don’t want to get into that right now, but your will, your will creates a platform for your life. Your worship is your power in your life. So, if your will is what you live for, then that creates a platform for what you want, because you will it. So, your will is your platform. You don’t have much else in your life. I don’t care if you are very talented, very intelligent, very whatever. Your will is your platform. What you create a platform with, with your will, is your worship. It will become your worship, and that gives you the power to keep going.

That’s why Jesus said, you can’t worship God and Mammon, or money, or the things that money buys. You will either love the one, or hate the other. You can’t do both at the same time. Why? Because your will is your platform, and your worship becomes your power. When you are in a place where you are willing to do the will of God – remember He is the smartest man in the universe, because He did the will of the Father, not because He had IQ or EQ. He is the smartest man in the universe because He did the will of the Father. Because of that, His will created a platform for His worship, which gave Him the power, delegated from God, to the point where He could stand in front of the man who said: “Don’t you know I have the power to take your life” and He could turn around and say to him: “You have no power over me unless I willingly give you the right to do it, and so I do.” Even in that moment His will was a platform for His worship, and that gave Him the power to go through the cross. Hallelujah.

When your will is anti-God, or your will is anti- the order of God, the order that is created by God, then you are a person that doesn’t live a wonderful life, but you live a wondering life? In your wondering, you ask questions because that is all you got to do, because your will is your platform, and your platform is giving you the worship, and the power to do what your will says. You are always wanting your will to actually have the most benefit, and the most effect for your worship, because that’s where you have your power coming from. So, your will is going to be wandering. It’s going to take you wandering. How do you know whether you are wandering? Because you will always be asking the questions, who, why, when, and what for?

Because what happened was, in the Garden of Eden, when the enemy of God came to say to the children of God, he came to this “Did God say?” He made them wonder. Who, why, what and when will this happen to your life? I don’t have the answer to that, but if you eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the one that He said that you shouldn’t eat of, then you will have the answers to your questions. Never. It just creates you to have more wondering, because it takes you out of the protection and the will of God.

You will always know when you are in the will of God or not, because you won’t have to be wondering, you will be wonderful. You will not have to ask why, who, what, when? You will always just say, “I know what His ways are, I am worshipping Him, and I am living a wonderful life, and my work is my worship.”

Did you get something out of this today? Stand with me please. Praise the Lord. Put your hand on your heart, and just declare this with me. Say, Jesus, thank You for saving me, thank You for helping me, and I declare from today, I am going to live for You. I thank You for the strength that helps me live, because my will is submitted to you. And where I am weak in doing that, You strengthen me to do that. In Jesus’ name, and everybody said, amen.
I declare, and I ask the Father that the peace of God will be upon you, that His protection will be upon you. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and that you are covered by the Word and the blood of Jesus. Do you agree with that? Amen. Thank you for coming. And you must leave right now.
