MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT:

The Words From My Mouth – Ps Christi Grobler (WTB)

“²³ For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

(Mark 11:23 NKJV)

God wants us to speak to the mountain, not climb the mountain. We will be able to reach the maximum if we actually believe what God says we can do; speak to the mountain. We must not twist what He is saying. When you pray, the first step is to believe. The first step is always faith, then God will show you how it will come to you.  Faith is the thing that will get the things that we are believing for. Jesus is not going to do the saying, the Holy Spirit is not going to do the saying. We must do the saying. Life or death is in the power of my or your tongue. (Prov 18:21) Whatever you’re going to say, you will have it. You say it, you own it. Therefore we must be very careful what we say. We have to watch every word. Everything good starts with a word and everything bad starts with a word.

Say: When I pray, I believe. I am no longer speaking without believing. I take heed in what I am hearing.

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth, It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:8-11 NKJV).

God believes, and when God believes something on the inside of Himself, He speaks it then every word that God speaks, will not come back to Him empty. It will accomplish what He sent it to do. That’s His way. Words must come from the intent of our hearts that they will accomplish the assignment, the way we use them. The words we use must be His words. Do not add to God’s Word and do not take from it. We cannot be careless with our words, because it’s affecting our faith. All of us are living in a fallen world, we all experience pressure but we’ve got a choice in what words we’re going to speak. You cannot say what you have, because then you’re going to have what you say. God is using our measure.

Say: I choose to speak God’s word today. I will not talk or rehearse what I see. The Holy Spirit is hovering over every area of my life where there is pressure waiting for me to speak God’s words.

36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it on the day of judgment. (Matthew 12:36 NKJV).

For every idle word that we speak, we will have to give account.  All those idle words are a missed opportunity, as a son of God, to rule and reign like a king that could turn things around. In our nation, in our families, in our finances, in our health we rule with our words.

What you’re going to say will either give access to the Holy Spirit or access to the enemy. Daily we all face temptations to speak words we should not speak. Satan actually counts on this. Through the devil’s attack on your life, temptations, pressures, Satan comes to push you so that you will say. He counts on you opening your mouth to speak death – it gives him access.

When the Israelites murmured, they provoked Moses. The pressure caused him to speak words out of anger. He came down to their level, using their tone and it cost him the promise land. They did not enter and neither did he.

This is why complaining and murmuring are dangerous, it lifts the protection and the enemy finds access. If we give him an opening, he will take it. He is seeking whom he may devour. (1Perer 5:8) He can’t just devour anyone. You speak words of death, you give the enemy a legal case against you. Satan uses legal issues to deny us what Jesus paid for us. Watch your mouth and give Satan no access.

We have to train ourselves. We can’t just say what comes up first. We have to yield to the Holy Spirit, wait to hear from Him and then speak. Even Jesus, when tempted, refused to speak unauthorized words.  He refused to speak because of pressure.

Your family, your business, your children, the things that God says He’s got for you in the new era – the Holy Spirit is hovering. He’s just waiting for us to say what God is giving us in the messages. Put your foot in the message and go to the Promised Land.

Say: I will not resist the Holy Spirit and say what I want to say. I will not let temptations, pressure and frustration dictate my words. I choose words that are intentional. It will be to accomplish things in cooperation with You, Lord.
