2021 is The Year of the Local Church (Kenneth Copeland).
You can’t be in authority, to rule and to reign as a king in life, which we are all destined to do as sons of God, if you’re not under God’s legitimate, legislative authority and in the order of God’s governance – the local church.
Every legitimate local assembly is different. In the Book of Revelations Jesus holds the messages of the churches (lampstands) in His right hand and He still, through messengers, writes to His churches today. He has been writing to this house for 20 years. God wrote I will take the Children and What is your more for? He has been speaking to us to come out of the Babylonian system into the Kingdom system, and to come to a fuller spiritual maturity. Some listen and hear, yield and obey; and then change and become through the ever-ongoing living Word of God – and others do not.
The local church is the pattern and order and design of God – and the only way that you will ever mature as a believer. Your maturity, development, deliverance; your everything – happens in the local church where God has planted you. It is where your roots grow down, and your fruits (from the Word of God) grow up. You are not called everywhere to everything. Although your spirit was recreated to receive revelation knowledge from the truth of God’s Word that is being preached, it is not God’s pattern for you to receive anywhere and everywhere. God’s pattern is for you to be planted in a local church by the Spirit of God; to get set into the body as He sees fit (1 Corinthians 12:18). God has prepared for you a spiritual leader with messages for you personally so that you can fully mature and fulfil your assignment in the earth.
Local means: to be positioned; placed and confined; appointed to a particular part of the body; pertaining to a place; and appointed place.
All people are gifted. God appoints people and gives gifts to the already gifted. You are not going to know what gifting you are and how you are supposed to flow in your purpose and your assignment on earth with God, without these other gifts.
7And he has generously given each one of us supernatural grace, according to the size of the gift of Christ. 8This is why he says: “He ascends into the heavenly heights taking his many captured ones with him, and gifts were given to men. 11He has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers. 12And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. 13These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness into the faith until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally, we become one into a perfect man with the full dimensions of spiritual maturity, and fully developed into the abundance of Christ (Ephesians 4:7-8;11-13 TPT).
28Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom. 29For this we labour [unto weariness], striving with all the superhuman energy, which He so mightily enkindles and works within us. (Colossians 1:28-29, AMPC).
14And he said, The God of our forefathers has destined and appointed you, to come progressively to know his will, [to perceive, to recognize more strongly and clearly, to become better and more intimately acquainted with His will], and to see the Righteous One (Jesus Christ, the Messiah), and to hear a voice from His [own] mouth and a message from His own lips; and then be a witness about it (Acts 22:14-15 AMPC).
Pastor John and Pastor Sharon’s ministry motive is to present all of the Heritage of Faith people mature, full-grown, fully initiated; complete and perfect in Christ. They are called and held responsible by God to bring messages from heaven to God’s people so that they can have the opportunity to mature, should they so choose. God, in this local church, is giving everybody every opportunity to become a full-grown, full-fledged Son of God. Your response is between you and God. You need to come to hear what God is saying directly to you.
The Lord is imploring you, Heritage of Faith people, to understand what the local church is all about, what it is for. Allow the Holy Spirit to help you let old filters of local church life disintegrate. Come into the new era, with a new way of listening and a new way of understanding. God is building the local church for all His sons to come to maturity, because the whole of creation is groaning for the manifestation of the mature sons of God. Allow yourself to be planted and your roots to go deep into the Word of God. Listen to the messages and receive instruction from the Holy Spirit for you personally, yield to the Word, change and come into maturity. In this house the rich revelation and messages are more than enough for you to come into your spiritual maturity.
In this time of this new era, God is going to give us His best. Don’t be impressed; just be blessed. As a congregation, we must pass this test. We are to have no boast in our hearts about our congregation, the music, the buildings. Don’t speak in boastful terms of anything that God is going to do. This is a warning to us. God is raising Pastor John up. The temptation as a congregation is to think that we can boast about it. Guard your heart. God is watching our collective greatness. As we remain humble God will continue to give us His best; which is Himself.
God said, “My Scriptures will speak at this time”. There is an increase of revelation light from God’s messages and we are awakening. God is wanting you to meditate on the Scriptures that He brings.
Speak to your soul (your mind and emotions) and say:
Soul, no more will you resist the Scriptures that come to me.
Holy Spirit, help me to not resist spiritual things. Father, I refuse to resist Your Word, and I yield to Your Scriptures. I let the Scriptures speak and breathe in my heart. I fall on Scripture that offends me (Jeremiah 23:39). I am a recreated spirit man. I want to be a mature Son of God. I want to be spiritual. I want to be just like Jesus.
In this time of God, in this new era, I yield, and I grow, and I mature spiritually. It is a yielding time for me. It is my first and foremost choice to listen to Your voice. I am listening, and I am yielding. A yieldedness is coming into my heart by You, Holy Spirit.
