MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT:

Power Of Resurrection Part 14 Baptism – Ps John Bendixen (WTB)

James 5:16 (AMPC)

16Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart.

Pastor Garth and Marcelle shared a public repentance and is now restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart.

Colossians 3:3-4 (TPT)

There is a definite distinction between natural realm life and the true life that you live. As Christians we are not supposed to live like everybody else lives, but to live with the power of the resurrected Christ living in us – it’s a completely different lifestyle. We are now one with Him in His glory.

Romans 6:1-4 (NKJV, MSG)

If you should read and confess this scripture every day for a month, this revelation will change your life forever.

Jesus died and was resurrected to a new life – a glorified new body that was dead to any temptation. We’ve been united to Him in death and also to Him in resurrection. That means we are like Him in a new body. The man that causes you to sin is dead and you can recon yourself indeed dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. You have an authority and a power that is not your own. You can’t be freed and have victory in yourself, but you can have victory in Christ. If you and I could have victory over lusts and our sin nature (our humanity) then Jesus would not have had to die. The Holy Spirit is the One that helps, guides, and leads you. Every time you are about to do something that is contrary to the newness of life that you are raised to, Holy Spirit is going to convince and convict you, “Don’t do it”.

Grace is not ‘not-judging’. Grace is to have the power to not sin, which means you have died to the person that wants to sin. You now have authority and power to live free. Grace is not the power that covers all sin so that you can live however you want to. Grace is the power to live the way God wants you to live. You now live in a sovereign land of grace-filled life. Grace sovereignty means grace is a royalty of your life, where you have the authority/royalty to command anything that wants to come into your world to say, “No”.

What you can believe for in baptism is:

to have full restoration, believing that you are free from what you did in your past.

to be filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

to come up out of the water completely healed and free.

Like Jesus, you can be resurrected into the newness of everything, and no longer submitted to the lust of your flesh.

What is the connection between your natural living and the new person?

We live in this environment of tolerance that we give ourselves, because it is patterned, it’s a habit, it’s easy living. Sin creeps on your same body that wants to make you sin, and suddenly it’s there. But you can tap into the power of God’s life to say, “No”.

The church should never be a place of judgement unless it’s the love of God that’s doing the judging. The love of God will bring correction, discipline and will save your soul. The Holy Spirit is living in you day by day to guide and lead you where you are not living to the standard of dominion.

33…seek ye first the kingdom of God (His way of doing things)… (Matthew 6:33 KJV, AMPC). Seek first this new land you’ve been born into and the new ways – then all these other things that you have need of will be added to you. The dominion that you have is in you living in this new realm of seeking God and His ways.

14The sower sows the Word (Mark 4:14 NKJV).

The Word you sow into your heart grows (up 30, 60, 100-fold return) and teaches you to live in the new kingdom, the new realm, the new land that you’ve moved into with Jesus – raised from the dead, in newness of life. You’ve got to sow the Word into your heart to keep living there.

We are going to have spiritual-life party here week after week while we are baptising people in water. We are going to see the manifestations of healings, of miracles, of deliverances. Healing power is released for: all manner of sickness and diseases; oppression and all manner of control over people’s minds; depression; all kinds of lusts, and every kind of addiction and habit.

Say, I thank You, Jesus, that You are my Lord and Saviour. I thank You, Lord, that I am free from sin and death, in Jesus’ name. I thank You, Lord, because You’re my Saviour, I am raised in newness of life. I have power over my old nature, in Jesus’ name. I am healed in my body, in my soul, in my mind, in every area of my life where I need healing and restoration. I receive it now, in Jesus’ name. Thank You Lord, that I am delivered from the old man, and I am raised up into a new life. I don’t have to live like that old man anymore. I live powered by newness. I walk as a son of God, free from the past and I walk into a brand-new life.  Today I declare my freedom. I am free to serve You, to walk with You, to seek You and to walk in Your ways. Christ-life is rising in me, I’m growing a great harvest of the Word, a harvest of empowerment of the Spirit of Grace, in Jesus’ name.
