MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT:

Journey To New Discoveries From Ancient Paths To New Discoveries – Ps John Bendixen (WTB)

We were born to have dominion over everything, we were not born to be trodden upon, we were not born to be subservient, we were not born to just wait for things to happen to us. We have the power to have dominion in ways that other people don’t have, if we choose to exercise it. We have to make a choice to exercise it.

“You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,”(Psalms 8:6 NKJV)

Many times, we as Christians, we have the dominion in our hearts, we have eternity in our hearts, we actually know we are meant for much greater things than we are living by, especially when we’re praising and worshipping God, and when we are giving ourselves to God, in a private time, a private place and we’re reading the Word and or God is showing Himself to you in a great way. It’s as if you can do anything. Everything feels like it is within your grasp when you’re with Him. It’s when you come out of being in His presence that you become aware that you can do nothing. He gave us breath, He gave us life. Apart from Him we can do nothing.

The problem is that man is living somewhere in between nothing and everything. Christians sometimes choose to live in the something zone. Not everything and not nothing. The something zone is a very dangerous zone because it’s what keeps you from walking in everything.

Say: I have been created to have dominion! I do not live in the something zone, I choose to live in the everything zone. I walk in everything that God has for me. Today is a beginning point for me!

Jesus never lived in a something zone. He always lived in the everything zone. He always did the things that pleased God. (John 8:26) If we want to do the works that Jesus did, we must live in the everything zone, not in the something zone. Living in between is why most Christian don’t receive anything. That believer is a double minded man and cannot receive from God. (James 1:6-8)

Say: I am not a double minded man. I do the things that pleases the Father. I want to do the works of Jesus and therefore I live in the everything zone!

Jesus came to fulfill the law, He never came to preach the law. He never came to tell everybody what they wanted to hear and give a discourse to them about how well He could function in the law. He came to show them a different way. It was the way of the kingdom of God. Jesus came as the fulfilment of the promise of the law. He came so that we can be free from performance. Because the law will always make you perform. Jesus has taken performance out of our walk with Him, so that in Him we can know the truth. And the truth allows us to live in power, not performance, because the Promise came to fulfill the law. He didn’t come to do something, He came to do everything. He completely fulfilled the law, so that we can live in the power of the freedom that He gives us.

Say: Thank You Lord Jesus came to fulfill the law so that I can be free of performance. I choose to live in the power of the Promise. I live in freedom.

When you make Jesus Lord and Saviour of your life, there is nothing and no one that can take you away from Him. (John 10:29) Your salvation is of grace, not law. It’s an everything-or-nothing statement. He’s the One who made it all possible, not you or me. Your spirit and your soul will live eternally. Your choice that you make on earth is going to tell you which way you’re going to go. That moment that you pray and you make Jesus Lord and Saviour of your life, that moment is the moment when that marvellous new birth takes place. It happens in a moment. It’s not something you can work for. If that’s a miracle that you and I can immediately live by, then every other miracle has the same foundation- believe with your heart and speak with your mouth.(Romans 10:9)

Jesus is the faithful One. We cannot try to perform our way into the things that the promise delivers. You can’t buy faith, neither can you fake faith. You either have faith, or you don’t. It’s a free gift, given to you by Jesus. He died for you so that when you chose Him, He even gave you the faith to get saved. He’s the Author, the beginning and the end, the finisher of our faith. When you live by faith, you don’t have to begin to concern yourself about whether or not your faith can work. Your faith works. Only you and the enemy of God can stop your faith. He deceives you so that you give up your words of faith. If you just keep speaking the Word, he doesn’t know how much faith you’ve got. All he knows is every time there’s a pressure and influence, a pressure point, trying to get you to change, trying to get you to doubt, you don’t, you just speak the Bible then He can’t stop what God’s got bringing to you.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV).

If you want to speed up your faith, in your family, in your home, in your household, you need to start asking yourself; is this the new creature speaking? Remember if your circumstances can make you speak like the old creature, then you’re going to get what the old creature always gets. But if you begin to speak what the new creature is speaking,  then you’re going to get what the new creature gets. The enemy wants you to believe that everything you see and everything you hear,  what everybody else is speaking, that’s your reality, not what the new creature is trying to tell you. But everything that’s in your life has been paid for. Your freedom from fear has been paid for. Your deliverance from guilt and shame has been paid for, all your needs have already been met in Christ Jesus. Everything that you ever want, it’s in the new creature that is connected to Him who sits on the right hand of the Father. He meets all your needs. All you have to do is feed the creature, it is automatically born to speak and behave like Jesus. The new creature understands ancient language, the old creature only speaks current language. You can’t walk on your ancient path without an ancient language. The ancient language is what gets you on your ancient path. We are on a journey in Christ, to new discoveries in God and we are going to discover just how powerful this new creature in us is.

Say: I am a new creature. I’m a promise person. I’m a new creation. I speak the words of the new creature. Everything in my life has been paid for and I walk in that freedom. Old things are passed away, all things are new in me. From this day, I’m living in the everything zone, in Jesus’ name, and where I’m weak, You make me strong. And where I can’t, You say I can.
