MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT:

Intentional Relationships Part4 – Ps Sharon Bendixen (WTB)

Have the faith of God.(Mark 11:22) Have it. If you have something, you have it. It means you’ve taken it and you’ve activated it and you are living by it, because you have been given the measure. We all have faith given to us, most precious, most holy faith. Every one of us has been dealt the measure of faith. It’s measureless. It’s limitless. God has created us in His likeness, to be like Him, to have the faith that He has. Why? Because He wants us to be able to move our mountains. God is not talking about a physical mountain. He’s talking about spiritual mountains, where you say of issues and things in your life that are so high, that mountain is so strong in front of me, the circumstances, it looks so impossible that I quit. I can’t see a way over it, I can’t see a way around it, and I can’t see a way under it. He wants us to have faith to believe. “24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive and ye shall have.” (Mark 4:24)

Say: I have the faith of God. When I pray, I believe and I receive! I do not question and doubt. I speak to the spiritual mountains in my life and they will move. I do not look at the circumstances. I keep my eyes on the promises of God.

“30..Immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? (Matthew 14:30-31 KJV)
This is a question that Jesus asks us today. Why do you doubt God’s Word? Why do you doubt? You doubt because you have little faith. We start off with faith in our hearts because we believe and then, just like Peter, we put our eyes on the circumstances – things are not changing, things are getting worse. The situation is boisterous, it’s tumultuous. This is when doubt sets in. If you allow the spirit of fear to come to you and doubt starts arising in your heart, then you start to sink into the mire of your circumstances. And Jesus will be there to lift you up, but that’s not what God’s maximum was for Peter. It wasn’t God’s highest and best, it wasn’t Jesus’ best. Doubt, and fear will rob you of the maximum that God has got for you.

“39…Why are you so fearful?” (Mark 4:39 KJV) Jesus is asking us this question and we have to be truthful and answer Him, “Because I have no faith.” A moment of honesty. You let your faith slip. You looked at the circumstances. God needs our faith. He needs our faith to be active consistently, continually, all the days of our life. Not to slip in and out of it. God wants us to have great faith, because that’s the only way you’re going to overcome the world, the world-system and the world institutions. You cannot overcome them with intellect and knowledge.

Say: I am consistent and constant in my faith. Every day I can live by faith continually. It’s what I’m capable of as a new creature. I have the capacity to be strong in faith all the days of my life.

“20No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God (Romans 4:20 AMPC)”
Knowledge makes you question so many things. To question is to have a doubt. A doubt controversy. Doubt means: To doubt of, to be uncertain of, to have no confidence and to call in question. I call in question the truth of Your Word. I call in question the authority of Your Word.
It is impossible to please God without faith. He can do nothing that is impossible for you because you are without faith. That is why He is not pleased. Because He wants to do the impossible for you. You must believe that He is who He says He is. You must believe He is what He says in His Word. He wants you like Abraham, to be empowered by faith. He wants you to be in a state of faith where you are being empowered by your faith.

So, what to do when I have no faith and I’m afraid? We have to have a relationship with God. We have to be strong in the Lord. (Ephesians 6:10 KJV) You cannot be strong in the Lord without having an intentional relationship with Him. You will not be strong in the Lord, without it. You may try and use your will power, but you will not be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might if you are not having intentional relationship with God, drawing your strength from your union with Him from your relationship with Him, through the Word, through developing a working relationship by yourself with the Holy Spirit.

Pray:
Father, may I be infused with an excessive dose of dynamic strength and ability, that explosive power be deposited into me, that even now, I have received a supernatural strengthening. Father, today, by the power of Your Word and Your anointing that resides within me, Lord, I have an internal deposit of power into my inner man. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
