You are the greatest love song. Your name is in lights in my heart. Thank You today for bringing to me truth, bringing to me light that the eyes of my understanding will be flooded with light so that I can live and walk in a manner worthy of you, Lord, so that I can be a son of light. Thank You for this message of light and Your Words of light – my heart is open to receive Your Words. As I receive and I believe Your Words it continues to exercise its superhuman power in me. I am becoming all that You have recreated me to become.
“Unless you become like little children,” Jesus said. I become like a little child. I humble myself, turn around, turn into God’s ways. Though I may be born again, and the Holy Spirit lives in me, I live my life on earth becoming like this little child. I sit and I listen to messages where I am planted and I receive and I believe and then I speak. Repentance is a condition of my heart that I’ll have in me for the rest of my life. I’m always receiving messages, I’m always receiving the Word of God, and I’m constantly receiving that light, and judging myself in the light of that Word and making adjustments and saying, “Yes, Lord!”
I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. I know His voice. When His Word comes to me, it comes multi-faceted. It comes in encouragement, it comes in comfort, it also comes in correction. I am like a little child and receive that correction.
He’s busy taking children right now. He wins my heart with words, His Words that He comes to bring me.
Put your foot in the message – It’s the word that God brings to me on a Sunday, and He wants me to get it. He doesn’t want it to go in the one ear and out the other. It takes root in me. I meditate on those scriptures and those important points of Pastor John because that’s the light of His Word that He brings me.
130The entrance of (His) Your Words bring light (Psalm 119:130 NKJV). I really want to become like a little child, Lord.
4Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me (Matthew 19:14 NKJV). “I am going to take them right into Me. I am going to bring them to Me.” When God brings me to church, I do come to people but I actually come to Jesus. I am coming because I am coming singing to Jesus and I am coming bringing to Jesus my heart, I am coming listening to Jesus speaking through the messenger. I am coming to Jesus.
I am coming to my blood-bought family. Who is my brother and who is my mother? It is those who do the will of God. God has specifically been speaking to children in this house saying, He has come to say to me and my children, “I am your God. Choose Me. Let the children come to Me. I am your God. I am your God.” “I am your God. I am not the God of your father or mother that I baptised in the Holy Spirit. I am your God and I am baptising you in the Holy Spirit now. I am having an encounter with you.”
We are going into 2021, I am going to be having tremendous encounters with God. He is going to be personal to me, in my heart where He lives. When the Holy Spirit came that day of Pentecost, He filled. When I got born again, He came to live in me. The Holy Spirit is that part of God that can be everywhere and in every child of God.
He will spend the rest of my life and His life drawing me and encouraging me. He will continue to woo me and draw me. He will never ever leave me or forsake me. I am His child. That is it. That is just it. I am His child. When I die I am going to spend eternity with Him. God has got a plan for my life. I do not make my own plans. I seek the Lord. I seek the Lord for His plans. 11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome and give you a future (Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC).
“What is your plan for my life, Lord? What is it? What is it?” I always want to know what Your plan is so I can walk in it. He has got plans. He has got a plan for my life. My spirit came from heaven; my spirit came into my mother’s womb from heaven. In Psalm 139 He says I intricately wove you; put your parts together in your mother’s womb. I was watching your unformed substance in your mother’s womb. Before all your days were, I recorded them in My book.
He’s making of us an inquiring, seeking people; people that are speaking to the Holy Spirit. That’s the only way I find out what God has for me, is because I develop a listening ear to His voice. I hear His voice on a regular basis and I develop a listening ear by being with Him and taking the scriptures during the week of what was brought. I open my Bible to them. I say that I can hear Your voice, that Your sheep – and I am Your sheep, I am Your child – that I know Your voice. I make a choice of my own will to begin to develop a listening ear. I want to hear Your voice. As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. The Holy Spirit has been sent to me to lead me – to lead me and guide me all of the days of my life.
14The grace (favour and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all (is with me) 2 Corinthians 13:14 AMPC). The grace of my Lord, the love of God my Father, and the fellowship – the communion and the sharing together with the Holy Spirit – so He’s the one, He’s the one that I get to know now. I will get to know the Father through the Person of the Holy Spirit. I’ll get to know the Lord Jesus, through the Person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the One that’s been sent from heaven to my heart to speak to my; lead me into all truth. Jesus said, “I’m not going to leave you like an orphan. I am going to send another One like Me to you.” He is the Spirit of Jesus and He’s the Spirit of God.
As I read John 14, 15, 16 I am with the Holy Spirit while I’m reading it, and start to develop my hearing Him, my communication with Him, my participation with Him. I sit and I speak to Him like I would speak to a person because He lives right here. He’s come to my heart. There is a place in me where He is. He is in me in His totality. He’s also everywhere. The Holy Spirit is wonderful and His name is Parakletos. He says, “I will send you another Comforter, He will comfort you. He will strengthen you. He will lead you. He will guide you into all truth. He will stand by you.”
16And I will ask the Father, And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever (John 14:16 AMPC). He remains with me forever. 17The Spirit of Truth (John 14:17 AMPC)
He will open up things for me in the Bible because His Word, Jesus said in John 17, 17Your Word is Truth (John 17:17 AMPC).
17The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you (John 14:17-18 AMPC).
19Just a little while now, and the world will not see Me any more, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also (John 14:19 AMPC). 26But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper) (John 14:26 AMPC). He will help me with anything if I develop that working relationship with Him in my life. He will help me with everything, so I won’t have to do my own thing. He will help me with everything and anything.
I get to know Him just like I’d get to know a person I don’t know. He’s in me. I start to get to know Him. I let Him help me. I ask Him to help me. 26…the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place…] 26…send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (He will remind you of) everything I have told you (John 14:26 AMPC). 26…the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby Whom I will send.
As a born-again child of God, I am capable of developing a listening ear to the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was telling the truth when He spoke about the Holy Spirit. I can know Him, I can commune with Him, I can participate with Him. 14…the love of God, the Father, the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ… and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14 AMPC). What the Lord wants for me more than anything else, is He wants me to have a personal, working, intimate relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit because He had Jesus come and die and rise again so He could send the Holy Spirit. He’s called the Promise. “The promise of the Holy Spirit I’m sending to you and to your children.”
The world knows nothing of how to be a mother and how to be a wife and how to be a husband. The world knows nothing. Everything that I need to know is in God’s Word and in His body, and in His assembly and where I get taught how to grow and mature as a son of God. This is about me engaging with the Person of the Holy Spirit to help me with everything.
6Because I have said these things… your sorrow has filled your hearts. 7However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you] (John 16:6-7 AMPC).
7…but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you] (John 16:7 AMPC). Jesus sent me the Holy Spirit to be in close fellowship with me, personally. Thank You, Father, for sending me God the Holy Spirit to be in close fellowship with me.
I make a start. I continue, continue. I get closer if I can – I just want to be close with Him in me. He’s like Jesus. He’s like the Father. He’ll speak to me, and He’ll reveal things to me, and He will show things to me, He will enlighten me. He’ll do that more and more as I develop.
I speak to the Holy Spirit, then I get to know how He speaks back to me in my inner man.
Pastor John and Pastor Sharon’s responsibility is to make sure that I am always connecting with Him – me and Him. I’ve got to be with Him, He wants me. I’ve got to be with Jesus. He wants me. He wants me for Himself. I’ve got everything in me to grow.
The good news is that it has nothing to do with what I feel like. The good news is that it doesn’t matter what I feel like. It’s what sons of God do. I am a son of God and it is what I do. I speak to the Holy Spirit. I go in the scripture; it’s what a son does.
I do it because I chose it. I want to grow, I want to be pleasing to Him. He is my Father, God the Father is my Father, Jesus is my Lord. The Holy Spirit is the One living inside of me.
I will keep coming to my Father. I will keep turning into Him, keep coming to Him – that’s the only way that I’m going to change, is because of my own walk with Him. He is my Helper and my Strengthener and my Standby. My comforter, when I miss it, I need Him as my Comforter. He is never the condemner when you miss it.
9He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 NKJV).
I embark on a brand new journey with Him. Forgetting the things that lie behind me – I’m forgetting, I’m pressing. Every day I’m like a little child, brand new as if I’ve never heard His voice before. Eager and in anticipation of “Wonder what He’s going to say to my heart today.” “I am making time to talk to Him. I need comfort this morning.”
It’s difficult on my flesh because I won’t feel like it. I disregard my feelings. I press on to continue to cultivate intimacy with the marvellous, mighty Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit loves me because He is the Spirit of Christ and the Spirit of God and He loves me. The One who lives inside me loves me. I am the only one that can deal with the devil. I plead the Blood and I ignore him and I go straight to Jesus. I go straight to the Holy Spirit, straight to Him because it’s the Blood that made me worthy to have intimacy with the Holy Spirit. There’s nothing I can do to be worthy to have this awesome intimacy with the Holy Spirit. The Blood has paid the price so that I can have the fullness of the Holy Spirit in me.
I’m encouraged and strengthened to talk to You – to talk to the Holy Spirit and engage in a deeper, more fuller, richer communion and participation with the Holy Spirit. You, Holy Spirit, who wants to so much make Yourself real to me. You are not hiding. You’re abiding in me. Thank You that I will now draw near to You like never before. I’ll come to You like a little child and I’ll speak to You and I’ll develop intimacy with You in a simple way with scriptures and talking to You, Lord.
This Word is able to build me up and give me my rightful inheritance among all God’s chosen ones – My rightful inheritance to have this rich relationship with You.
