[Never allow Satan to condemn you while you’re reading scripture. Holy Spirit wants to enlighten you and set you free through scripture, from within, in your heart, to help you overcome.]
The heart of God is for us to experience a New Testament Exodus from the bondage of the world-system of the day. The blood of Jesus brought redemption and salvation to save us out of the darkness of this world into His marvelous light (Colossians 1:12-14 KJV).
Jesus gave His life for our sins, our twisted ways that we got from the present evil world-system (Galatians 1:4 NLT, CJB). It is quite simple and plain, God sent Jesus that the whole world be made safe and sound through Him (John 3:16-17 AMPC). God awaits our faith and our believing, that He is great and that He is good, and that His desire is to deliver us from this present darkness.
God will help us to live in the world but to not be of it. How? With Holy Spirit, planted in a church, being brought to maturity, believing, and moving with the Good News deeper into possessing our promised land inside (spiritually) and outside (increase).
God wants you to have a very personal, intimate relationship with Him, in communication and intimacy and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will lead you into truth, guiding you and showing you things to come. You have to be in relationship with the Lord and be knowing Him, hearing for yourself so that God can show you (for instance, greed, pride). You have to look in the mirror of the Word to see what manner of man you are. There’s no special way to mature spiritually, but to take time to come to Him. You must develop that relationship with Him to grow. The blood of Jesus makes you worthy to have that rich conversation and communion with the Holy Spirit.
Don’t live in the torment of comparison as in the world 17This world and its desires are in the process of passing away, but those who love to do the will of God live forever (1 John 2:15-17 TPT).
God says, my child, please don’t love the world that satan is the god of (2 Corinthians 4:4; 1 John 2:15). You have to hate what God hates. You should not be loving the world or the things that are in the world.
Start saying that immediately, “I don’t love the things of this world. I love to do the will of God found in His Word. Father, where I love it, show me. Help me take the love of the world out, so I can be free and walk in the Kingdom of Light”.
The lusts/desires of the flesh are quite clear/obvious in Galatians 5:16, 19-21 (AMPC). The “I want to say what I want to say, I want to do what I want to do” is your willful, carnal, fleshly nature.
21I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21 AMPC).
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (forbearance), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint). Against such things, there is no law [that can bring a charge] (Galatians 5:22-23 AMPC).
Isn’t that wonderful, that we can live not loving the world. That’s why God wants us free from the world’s system.
Exodus 3:7-9; Numbers 13:27-28; 11:4-6; 14:1-10, 22-24, 29-31 AMPC is a recording of an Old Covenant deliverance from Egypt (Babylon/world-system/present darkness of the age). The people hardened their hearts towards God, chose Egypt in their hearts and refused God’s deliverance. The way we do it is when we believe in God for something and it doesn’t come to pass and we say, “I’m rather going to do it. I’m rather getting back to my old ways” or “Look at all the people in the world, strong, rich and famous, I’ll go their way” or “I like the way things are in the world-system” or “God’s given me a promise of deliverance, but my circumstances are too strong, the world-system is too strong for God to deliver me out of it” or “All I hear is manna (God’s promises, supernatural increase, manifestations of God’s greatness), I was making it better when I was more in the world-system”. The wicked world-system in our lives is when we give Him no place in our culture of a fierce society – all of what Jesus came to deliver us from.
23 Surely they shall not see the land (Numbers 14:23).
You can only be an unbelieving Christian for so long. God will speak to you and speak to you and speak to you. If you persist in not believing (with all your doubt and all your unbelief and all your fear), then there will come a time that He will say, “Ok, you don’t believe, obviously you don’t want to go in”.
A whole generation murmured, except Caleb and Joshua.
31Well, instead I will bring them (the children) safely into the land and they shall inherit what you have despised. (Numbers 14:31 TLB).
I believe God is going to get to that, to say, “Where are you taking your children into, where are you pointing them to? Egypt the Babylonish system or the Kingdom of God Light?”
The promise of deliverance from our Egypt, our Babylon, this world-system is here for us right now. That is why the Lord is telling us now, Heritage of Faith people, come out of her. Change and become like a little child. Enter My kingdom, seek first My kingdom, My ways of being and doing right and everything’s going to be added to you. All these blessings are going to come upon you and overtake you (Hebrews 4:1-3 TLB).
Unless you become like little children (Matthew 18:2-4 KJV): believing, trusting, listening, obeying, teachable. You cannot even enter the Kingdom of God that is full of light, full of the fulfillment of all promises that He has ever promised in His Word.
Humility means; I listen, I believe, I receive, I mix this with faith, I expect it.
The only way you enter it is to be like a little child, believing.
You have no defense against the wickedness of the world-system creeping in, if you’re not choosing Jesus and His ways every day for your life. Your only defense is Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit in your heart, yielding to His discipline instruction, looking in His Word, listening for His voice, planted in His church – believing, receiving like a little child.
Jesus said the world will hate you if you are My disciple.
Jesus wants you coming closer to Him.
He wants you to choose Him.
He wants you to not love the world and the things that are in the world.
I Choose to Love Him – Song lyrics
Pray, In a world where many are going their own way, Lord, I choose Jesus: to love Him, to serve Him, to follow Him, to obey Him, to believe Him, all of my days.
