I thank You that You continue to bring us to a place in the natural time of men, our time that we have on this earth that You work within this clay vessel to bring me to the level of spirituality that makes me ready for eternity. Today is another day that You prepare me for what I can do here on earth and for eternity.
What I know in my head and I don’t receive in my heart, I still become accountable for in my life. I am accountable for the knowledge before God one day. I live what I know.
I listen to the message and keep listening to the message, so that what God’s saying to this people actually becomes real to what I live together as a community.
“You may ask Me whatever you want and I will do it for you” – If I am gathered together in Your name, if I am together in agreement in Your name, I can ask because I come to be part of that.
In a normal blood-born family, if we have two visions, we cannot walk together. Even if we are blood-borne family we can’t walk together because we have got two fundamentally different ways of seeing things in life – we can’t walk together. How can two walk together unless they agree? We can’t walk together unless we are in agreement. If we have a different agreement, a different vision about life, we can’t walk together. If we are a blood-bought family, and we walk in agreement together, whose power do we activate? Holy Spirit, Jesus, the Father. We activate real power – It doesn’t matter how the blood-born family chooses to function. If I activate a blood-bought family agreement, that power is eternal, a blood-born family power is temporary.
He is always going to bring a restoration in my life if I will willingly give Him my heart if I will willingly repent. He is always going to bring about restoration. He will bring me back on my ancient path or paths. Always. There is no greater blessing than being on my ancient path.
The mental process determines my relevance to the words. What I do is my mental process, my thought life determines what relevant words I say or don’t say. If I allow my mental process to dictate what I do, or I don’t do, it’s actually what’s going to drive my future.
If I keep feeding the wolf of intellectual relevant words, then the intellectual irrelevant, socially relevant, human connection relevant lifestyle is what I will feed. Starve the other wolf and who’s going to win the fight every time? If I feed my source of life as being the world’s system, the other wolf becomes so small and so emaciated and so unable to say anything, that this powerful wolf will just consume it.
17From that time Jesus began to preach, crying out, Repent (change your mind for the better, heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:17 AMPC). The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Jesus is saying change your ways; because something is happening right now that you have not seen before. What you’ve not seen before is that God has come to you. It’s right in front of you. I change my old ways because God is right in front of me.
18As He was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He noticed two brothers, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother, throwing a dragnet into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19And He said to them, Come after Me [as disciples—letting Me be your Guide], follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men! (Matthew 4:18-19 AMPC) – Drop your past and come follow Me for your future. We have this impression that we have got to be led by God to the point of repentance or the point of a big challenge, but God can make that invitation to me right now, today, immediately.
Many people have fed the wolf that is of fear and doubt about the future. They don’t even consider that God has a plan for them. Wherever God’s plan is for me, that’s where my blessing is. My blessing cannot be anywhere else other than where God wants me to be because He has an ancient path for me to walk on before I was born and he has planned all of my life’s resources and all of the connections that I need to be, He has planned it for me before I was born.
As I walk in that plan, God begins to unveil bit by bit. The whole point about faith is I have to believe the words that I am speaking, actually are changing my future.
20At once they left their nets and became His disciples [they sided with His party and followed Him]. 21And going on further from there He noticed two other brothers (Matthew 4:20-21 AMPC). They didn’t know it yet but the two blood-born children were going to become blood-bought family. In the end, they were all four of them going to give their lives for the blood-bought family; not for the blood-born family.
Jesus goes and calls blood-born sons. When they die and all the disciples, with the exception of John, died – all the other sons died; blood family sons died. They didn’t die for their brother, their natural blood brother. They died for the blood-bought Church. They didn’t give their lives for their family. They gave their lives for the Church. I understand the power of the eternal brotherhood and the power of the fellowship of being in a blood-bought family – that eternally this has more relevance than anything than a genetic sequence can determine.
22At once they left the boat and their father (Matthew 4:22 AMPC).
23And He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people. 24So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them. 25And great crowds joined and accompanied Him about, coming from Galilee and Decapolis … and Jerusalem and Judea and from the other [the east] side of the Jordan (Matthew 4:23-25 AMPC).
17“If you think I’ve come to set aside the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets, you’re mistaken. I have come to fulfil and bring to perfection all that has been written. 18Indeed, I assure you, as long as heaven and earth endure, not even the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with until its purpose is complete. 19So whoever violates even the least important of the commandments, and teaches others to do so, will be the least esteemed in the realm of heaven’s kingdom (Matthew 5:17-19 TPT). If I’m teaching my children to violate the standard of the Kingdom, I become the least of people. God is looking for a people that will raise their children up and have a life of family that will be connected to the Most High God. 19But whoever obeys them and teaches their truths to others will be greatly esteemed in the realm of heaven’s kingdom. 20For I tell you unless your lives are more pure and full of integrity than the religious scholars and the Pharisees you will never experience the realm of the kingdom (Matthew 5:19-20 TPT).
Ps John became aware of this very aggressive sexual spirit that was going about violating people, abusing people with words, with this heavy, aggressive, dominant posture and then violating their purity. It was so heavy and so dark. This word violating, violating kept bouncing around in Ps John. He became aware that this is spiritual, and the Holy Spirit wanted him to learn something from this. Ps John heard the word violating comes from violence. This sexual spirit wants to consume people’s purpose, their purity of intention; the direction of their lives is the same as an aggressive sexual spirit that wants to just impose their lives. Rape is not about the need for sex, it’s about the need for violence. Violating comes from violence, and is designed to demand, to impose, to go after and take from you what belongs to you, and give you no choice in taking from you what you don’t want to give. I became aware that actually, the spirit of violence is at work, and it’s violating people.
Ps John became aware that what he was beginning to learn through this whole thing that unfolded to him, because then light came. This light came to him and the Lord began to speak to him, He said, “John, I have called you as a messenger of light. I’ve called you and Sharon as messengers of light, called this ministry as a message of light to bring gentleness, to bring the love of God, to bring the strength of God that doesn’t violate and doesn’t bring violence – it brings the gentle pulling of the Holy Spirit which is very different to a demanding domination of people.” “That spirit of violence is at work in so many different places, and people are being violated with domineering forces through money, through politics, through relationships, through many things; they are being violated because things have been taken away from them.” It’s the Laban spirit at work that brings violence to pull away from me my future because it’ll pay me just enough to keep me alive. The Lord said to Ps John “Fundamentally, John, I’ve called you. I’ve called you to stand against this domination that is violence that is violating even the very Church of the elect of God. The world is coming after your own calling, your own purpose, your own assignment.” Continuously the world is coming after, and it wants to take it from me by force. It’s demanding that I give it my life, my energy, my purpose, my gifting, my talent. It demands that I give it to it. The younger you are, the better it is because then the world can mould you and shape you to consume you for the rest of your life. I will violate your purpose eternally. You won’t even know that I’m taking the purity of your life away from you because it will just seem like it’s what everybody does.
Everything we’re doing here by the Holy Spirit, asking for repentance – asking that we don’t follow the Babylonian system, all of it is coming against that violating spirit that has been designed to consume me.
Jesus knows better. The Word knows better, the Holy Spirit knows better. The world does not know better, what’s best for me.
In the same way that Jesus showed up at Peter, James and John and the brothers – when He showed up at their place of business – He created a miracle and their lives were changed forever. I’m asking You that You would make Yourself known to me in the same way, in this moment, the moments that I need it most, be there for me, Father. Be that for me, Jesus, speak words to me that I can obey, that I can glean that will bless my life.
