One of the greatest expressions of faith is to be able to thank God in advance before you see anything happen. We must not do it backwards. Praise God now and watch it happen!
The three gifts that God gave Adam after creating him; number one was dominion and authority. The second gift was the blessing. And the third gift was seed. And with those three gifts, He enabled man to live a very, very successful and glorious life. Sin didn’t come until they committed high treason against God and disobedience. Sin caused them to miss the mark, where they were no longer able to enjoy the life that they had originally enjoyed because sin prevented it. Satan entered, the earth became cursed. Yet God had a plan.
So don’t ever give up when Satan’s got you in a bind. It’s just a matter of time, if you’ll stay in faith.
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Genesis 1:29 KJV)
Sowing seed is for provision. That’s the way God began and that’s the way it still is today.(Gen 8:22 NIV)
Once a seed is sown, it groweth up. That is what seeds are designed to do. God made seed. The last thing a seed heard after God created it was; grow. That’s all a seed knows to do. Every seed sown has an assignment on it, and that assignment is to grow. Seed is powerful, it has the potential to split a rock. We have to have confidence in the seed, that it will grow. Confidence in the soil and confidence in God, causing it to produce a harvest.
Say: Lord, I have confidence in the seed. It knows what to do. I have confidence in the soil You told me to plant it in. It knows what to do. You’re the one who created seed, You know what to do to cause it to produce a harvest.
We sow our seed as an act of trust in God, because faith without corresponding actions is void of power. We make God our source by sowing seed. Every time you talk to God about a need, He’ll talk to you about a seed because that’s the way He set it up in the beginning. That’s how He intended for man to have his life sustained, is by the sowing of seed. Don’t become need-minded, become seed-minded.
Say: God is my source. I am not need-minded, I am seed-minded.
The Bible reveals to us that God even considers our finances as seed.The Bible says, a man that sows sparingly, he can only expect to reap sparingly. If he sows generously, then he can expect to reap a generous harvest. So, you really are in charge of your own harvest. To be a sower it’s not talking about somebody doing this part-time or occasionally. A sower went out to sow, that’s the description of a sower – a sower went out to sow. That’s what sowers do. You have to look for opportunities to sow. And then you expect a harvest.
Every major breakthrough recorded in the Bible has the principle of sowing a significant seed.
Why is there always a seed? Because that’s the way God created things in the beginning. I give you dominion and authority, I give you the blessing, and I give you seed and seed will be for sustaining your life. You take those three principles and live by them, and you’re going to go to the ultimate, the maximum. You’re going to enter into this realm of the highest level attainable because that’s the way God set it up in the beginning. Jesus restored it and now we can live by it.
The measure of your trust in God will determine how tightly you hold on to what He asks you to give away. When God tells you to give something, He is not trying to take something from you. He wants to get something to you. Obedience always opens the door to the miraculous. Significant seed produces an enormous breakthrough. The best you have to give that’s significant. If it is not truly a sacrifice to you, it’s not significant. Don’t give it to God.
Say: God, I receive this word, I mix my faith with it in the name of Jesus. Your Word says when I mix my faith with it, it will profit me. I am sowing toward the fulfillment of this Word. I am going to do it with the best seed I have. I trust You. I don’t doubt the principle I am acting on, since it was established in the Garden of Eden, and You said as long as the earth remains, it shall not cease. I thank You, Father, in advance that 2023 is going to be a year for the maximum and a year for the highest level attainable. In Jesus name. Amen.
