12How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 13For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High (Isaiah 14:12-14 NKJV).
“Who is the smartest guy that ever lived?” The smartest person that ever lived is the guy that said everything, did everything and behaved the way that the Father behaves, because the smartest guy in the universe, obviously, is God.
The man that is the smartest that ever lived was Jesus, because He just said what the Father said. He did what the Father did, and He said to His disciples “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” That is how close He lived His life to the Father.
I don’t want anything to be uniquely me. I want everything to be about uniquely-God. My personal uniqueness has got nothing to do with it. The dumbest people that lives or has ever lived are the people that don’t obey God or they reject God completely.
My will is my platform and my worship is where my power comes from. My will is my platform. That’s why the smartest guy that’s ever lived is Jesus because He took His will and He said, “I choose not to express My will one time. Not even one time. My will, My own will has nothing to do with the reason why I exist. My will is only to do the will of the Father.” His worship became the power that released everything.
1There is therefore now no condemnation. I say, “No condemnation”. To those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free (Romans 8:1-2 NKJV). I say, “Made me free”. There is no condemnation and I am free. There is no condemnation and I am free. I am free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit (Romans 8:2-5 NKJV).
My future depended on Jesus living in me and it was impossible. It was impossible. The only way it became possible is that God said here’s a bunch of rules and if you could do these rules, you would have what it takes to inherit eternal life, knowing that actually you’re always going to, in some point of time, “have ten thumbs” and you’re never going to be able to live all those rules. So, it’s impossible. It’s impossible that I ever had an opportunity to save myself and become something different. God the Father said, “Okay Jesus, We’ve got to make a plan here. You’re going to go down as one of them, and as one of them, You’re going to live as they are, but You must make a choice every day of Your life. You’ve got to wake up and say, ‘I don’t want My will, I want God’s will.’” That’s it. He did it until the time came when He was in the Garden of Gethsemane and He was suddenly faced with the idea that His physical body has got to die, but even more than that, for the first time in eternity He was going to actually be separated from His life. In order for this thing to happen, Jesus became me. Jesus said, Father, I give up all of My rights of everything that I know. I give it up and I will die for all of them that have nothing. They have nothing, they can do nothing, they have no future – they are completely illiterate people – spiritually speaking. The good news is that everything Jesus is, I have. I do not even have to do extra. I have ‘Waldus’ (Jesus) living in me, but I am also me. But I have ‘Waldus’ (Jesus) living in me. I am not just what I can do; I can also ‘install air conditioners’. I’ve got all of these skills but I have never ‘installed an air conditioner’. I realise I need some tools. That is how it is with a Christian.
Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of my faith, and He says I am a brand new creature. The old creature is passed away, all things have become new. When I received Jesus in my spirit, I am a brand new spirit that is everything-God. Everything-God. Everything-Jesus. Everything-God is in me. There is nothing that Jesus is, that God is, that is left out of me. I have all of Jesus in me; in my spirit.
3For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:3-4 NKJV). I am a spirit that has a soul that lives in a body. What the law could not give me in my spirit, Christ Jesus came to give me in my spirit so that I no longer walk according to my flesh, my body, but I walk according to my spirit. I am spirit. I live as a spirit.
…The law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:4 NKJV). I no longer walk according to the flesh, I walk according to the spirit because I am a whole new creation. I am a new creature. I have Christ’s Spirit in me; therefore I do not walk according to the flesh. My spirit man that is born again is me.
5For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit (Romans 8: 5 NKJV). I am spirit. The natural direction that I want to live is in the spirit. My natural inclination of my spirit is to live according to the Spirit.
8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us (1 John 1: 8 – 10 NKJV).
1There is therefore now no condemnation (Romans 8:1 NKJV). I am not condemned for walking in the spirit and for going for God in the spirit even if the results don’t come out exactly the way that I expect them to come out all the time. I have got all of Jesus living in me but I don’t yet fully know how to activate everything that Jesus is in me. My spirit man says; become like Christ, live like Christ, command mountains to be moved, lay hands on the sick to be healed, speak the Word of God, speak the Word of faith and do this. Yes, I am getting it. I’m getting it. I’m getting it.
When I wake up in the morning and I mirror myself in my mind and my spirit, I look like God. I can’t get away from Him because Jesus lives in me.
Like with Peter, that’s the way Jesus is with everything I do in my life. “I’m out here on a limb, Jesus, with my faith.” He says to me, “Keep going. Just keep your eyes on Me. Don’t look at anything else.”
There is therefore no condemnation. I don’t let the devil condemn me for my mistakes. I don’t let the devil condemn me for the crashes that I’ve made, the failures that I’ve made. The best thing I can do is hang around ‘Waldus’ (Jesus) because He’s the one who put everything in me. Jesus is not ever going away and He’s not going to condemn anything I try. He’s not accusing me of anything. He didn’t give me all of His skill and His talent so that I can just do nothing with it. He’s not accusing me about how I use it.
Pastor John is my messenger by God to bring a message to me to build my confidence, to build my relationship with the Most High God and the Holy Spirit, the One who helps me with everything in every situation in my life. He’s the ultimate Life Mechanic. Pastor John is a life mechanic with the Holy Spirit because a life mechanic tells me to do it like this, do it like this, and my confidence builds and I grow in God. The devil is all about condemnation.
There’s a legal position that I have in Christ and there’s a lifestyle position. Legally my position never changes so the enemy always comes after my lifestyle choices. The Holy Spirit helps me with my lifestyle position that I have in Christ.
When I wake up every morning the first thing I do is I put my hand on my heart and I say, “I am a son of God.” It tells me that today I’m established legally as a son of God. Nothing can change that. Because I’m legally a son of God, I choose to let the life of Christ come up inside of me and He can show me everything I need to be shown about today, because I established a legal principle.
I put my hand on my heart and say, “Thank you, Jesus, that I am a son of God. Thank You for saving me. And I thank You, Lord that the Holy Spirit lives in me. He is my Helper, He is my Guide, He’s the One that is alongside me leading me to truth and I depend on Him. Thank You, Lord, from this day onwards, I listen more to the Holy Spirit. I do the Word of God in my life. I do not receive condemnation. I walk free. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
I am filled with the goodness of God, filled with the blessing of God. The peace of God rests upon me. The joy of the Lord that flows in me and out of me will be strength to me. No weapon formed against me will prosper. No plague shall come near my dwelling place. The enemy of God will not steal my future, finances, my business, or anything that God has got to bless me.
