MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT

The Body of Christ is very important. Just as a natural body must be healthy to function efficiently, so also we as a body of believers must be in good condition. We all make up this body. Not one function is more important than the other. We all have a role to play.

In the Body of Christ we have to allow the Word of God to come and cut away the “dead” parts. Where people refuse to change we have to let the Word of God do the job. There comes a time when the call of God on your life requires you to do something that you may think is unnecessary, but for the calling, for the things that God has for you, you might have to go through something that is challenging. This is not so that it can put you in a box, this is designed so that it can open you up to the world. Just like Paul required of Timothy to get circumcised.

Paul and Timothy’s relationship is an example of a powerful father-son relationship. Not a natural father-son relationship but one in the spirit. This is very powerful because it is not a thousand fathers that gets the Body of Christ to grow, but sons. (1 Corinthians 4:15) When you hear the heart of a father and the father hear the hearts of sons, there is productivity and there is power.
