Wisdom is the art of living in accordance with God’s expectations and His will.
Wisdom comes from searching and seeking. (Prov 8:17)
Wisdom is the principal thing, we must get wisdom. (Prov 4:7)
Wisdom is advancing and promoting us. There are many things that only wisdom can do for you.
Do not forsake wisdom.(Prov 8:6)
Wisdom will preserve you, wisdom will keep you, wisdom will promote you and wisdom will honor you. (Prov 4:6,8)
The very thing that we need more of in the days and months and years to come is wisdom. We need to know how to find the knowledge that we need for our lives. The timing, the knowing and the resources, it all comes together in wisdom.
Say: We are crossing over, Lord, into the fullness of the promised land that You have for us, but we are going to get the wisdom, the knowledge, and the understanding from You.
Wisdom has a lot to do with the future, how to move forward either with the leading of God or as a fool all by yourself. God is speaking to us, it would be wisdom to listen and to heed what God is saying to you. To be foolish means you are very dull, you are heedless, it doesn’t matter what God is saying, you are just not hearing, and you are just not responding. You are dull, and you are heedless, being unaware and unresponsive.
If we do not show some understanding, the Lord calls us foolish. (Prov 8:4) By being unaware of what God is saying, is absolutely displaying your foolish actions and your choices before the Lord.
The crossover is in the moments of receiving revelation, it’s in our hearts, as the spirit of wisdom comes to Pastor John in the morning because God decided to use people to speak and through the messages. God wants us to see. He does not want us to be heedless, stay unaware, no response. No, we leave the old things behind, make the choice to not forsake wisdom, change in the moment, and crossover.
To get wisdom we need faith and humility. Faith because you must believe that you can get it. There is wisdom to get. Humility because if you do not know, you do not know. To act like you know is pride speaking. Pride will cripple you.
Wisdom is calling out. (Prov 8:1) Are you listening? Get wisdom, get it that I, wisdom, am crying out, I’m raising my voice to say, “Heritage of Faith, crossover with Me. You do not know what’s waiting, you do not know the beautiful things I have for you. I’m going to show it to you, the things that I’ve got for you. Come and get it.”
Say: Yes Lord. Yes, yes, yes Lord.
Wisdom is the ability to make the right choices at the opportune time. Wisdom is the insight into the true nature of things.
How do we get wisdom? We trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. We acknowledge Him in all our ways. Not just some ways. We listen as He directs us and we are not wise in our own eyes. (Prov 3: 5-7)
We have to receive wisdom words, treasure its commands within us. Incline our ear and apply our heart to understanding. If wisdom cries out, we must lift up our voices and answer. (Prov 2:1-3)
Say: Wisdom, here I am. Wisdom I hear You. I respond to say to You here I am and I know You’ve got the plan. I know now that only You can do certain things with me, it’s with You. Thank You, Spirit of Wisdom, here I am. I actually hear you, I actually come to acknowledge You. I want to live with You, I want to cross over with You, here I am. I need to say to You regarding these things in my life, I do not know but You do, You do Lord. I cry out, I am responding, I am lifting up my voice for understanding. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah.
Wisdom is always ahead of the enemy. When you respond, suddenly you will know things you never knew, you will see things you never saw before. Be prepared for Him to reveal the true answer, wait upon the Lord.16 The wise are cautious and avoid danger; fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence. (Proverbs 14:16 NLT)
Everything that God does is strategic with a purpose in the right direction. You must know that words and actions will have domino effects. If you are wise, you will think ahead before you speak or act- the consequences are coming. Wise ones or foolish ones. The choice is ours.
We have to sharpen our blades. We do this with prayer, knowing it takes time. We do not listen as the enemy is telling us we are wasting time. We do not listen as he reminds us of our strong work ethic. We say, “No! We are sharpening our blades!”
Pray: Lord, You are making me of quick understanding. I come by faith. I humble myself to get the wisdom that you have for me. I come to sharpen my blade. Spirit of wisdom, here I am. I am crossing over with You into all that You have for me. Amen.
