MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT:

Beloved Part 16 Relationship Restoration Honour Faith And Finances – Ps John Bendixen (WTB)

Pastor John shared a life story from his past of behaving spiritually and obeying the Word of God and not going after what is fair or what is right or wrong.  If you operate in honour and you give God first place in your life, it doesn’t matter what circumstances come to you, God must answer you based on His system of justice, which is the Word and the Love of God.

God loves all people, but then He has those that are His family and children and have a relationship with Him based on salvation. Then there are those that obey His commands who are  His beloved. There is a great overlap between the two values beloved and honour.

Ephesians 2:1-10 (NKJV, MSG, TPT)

This is a good reason for us to live in the glory of God and in all of the good things that God has for us. A lot of Christians have great difficulty understanding this scripture. Your spirit is the real you. If you are born again your spirit you is filled with Jesus and you are co-seated with Christ in heavenly places. It is a state that exists now. You are raised up with Christ and ascended with Him because in Him your future always was. This is a free gift and can not be achieved through performance. The Church have not yet fully embraced the impact of what this means. Opposed to a performance-orientated based, power based, political based and connected based world-view, a worldview as one with Christ in heavenly places, co-seated with Him sees life completely differently. A worldview of a life in Christ views problems completely differently than a worldview of ‘the system knows best how I should live life”.

A Christian do not have a money problem only a relationship problem. It is not how much money you have or not have; it is about how close your relationship with God is. Many people in this world has a worldview that the system knows best how to live. The system doesn’t have the answer, Jesus does.

How do you live a kind of life in Christ that you give your whole life to God and He then solves your problems? One day at a time. The Living Word of God has got to be a living Word for you. Institutions say you need a long-term investment plan. As Pastor John did, decide to make your long-term plan Jesus. Get up every day and give Jesus your life everyday. Speak the Bible, give Him thanks, give Him praise, glorify Him, give Him the words of your mouth and give Him your heart as broadly as you can while going about your day.

There is nothing hard about living for Jesus! When your hands are committed to worshipping the Most High God, everything your hands touch is blessed and everywhere your feet go are under the inspiration and guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit. With Pastor John declare, “Everything that happens in my life is a God encounter one way or another”. Afterall, you are seated with Jesus right next to the Father in heavenly places – your whole worldview should be changing.

Ephesians 6:1-3 (NKJV)

It’s not the system, your degrees, banking institutions or your talent that is going to make it go well for you. God is going to make it go well for you, but there is a condition – you must honour. There is a promise attached to honour, but you have to believe it (and you can speak it every day).

Proverbs 3:1-10 (NKJV)

If you can remember everything the institutions want you to remember, but you have forgotten the law of God this scripture no longer applies to you. If your worldview is all about the news and financial capabilities then you are most likely to forget God’s way.

The favour principle kicks into your life by obeying the Word of God and putting it in your heart. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. You should hear what others (lawyers, auditors, investment managers, doctors) have to say, but if you lean on what they say and trust in what that say more, then you are saying it is more important to you than what God says.  They don’t know better than God. Take what they have to say and then go before the Father and ask Him what you must do with the information. Do what God tells you to do. When You give Him your life, He gives you the wisdom and understanding of what to do.

Honour the Lord with all your possessions. Tithing is not something that you obey it is a choice you make. Don’t allow your thought life to become so institutionalised that there is no place for God.

Which one do you want to trust more? The Word of God or the system? The world out there does not have an answer. Does it matter what anybody else thinks? If you put God first place in every area of your life, you will walk with freedom, with confidence and with strength because you are not going to be dictated by the system, but you are going to be the one that calls the shots.  You have to change your worldview to read like the Bible reads  and not like the institutions tell you.

Say, I’m giving my life to God today. I’m committing my walk with Him today. All the work of my hands is His.  I am one of those extremists. I am extremely blessed. I am extreamly healthy. I am extremely satisfied in my relationships. I have an extreme amount of peace and joy. The presence of God completely satisfies everything I need in my life. I am extremely in love with Jesus and His Word. I put His Word beyond and before anybody else’s word. His Word is my guide. His Word is my shield. His Word is my answer. He makes my path straight before me. He puts light on my path. He leads me in the way that I should go. When I need to go lie down and rest, He makes it best for me. When I need to feed, He gives me the best food. When I need protection, He is there for me.

I trust the Bible. In every situation in my life the Bible works for me. It delivers me and protects me. God’s got the answer for my future and I am facing my future with confidence. The confidence I have is not in what the system can be for me, it is in what God can be for me. I have peace. I have joy. I live with thanksgiving in my heart. I love God Who is always with me and working with me wherever I am at whatever level I am at in my life. His grace and His mercy is there for me all the time
