We live by words and words are things that get our bodies moving. Words create an environment, they create an atmosphere, they create a way for us to move and get around and communicate with people.
If we are going to live as spirit beings, we are going to need to know what our advantage is to be spiritual, and what it is that’s happening to us when we are developing our soul.
A spiritually mature man is a man who thinks in line with his spirit, who lives in line with his spirit because his spirit is dominating his life. If you don’t know the difference between what’s happening in your soul and your spirit, then you would be tempted to think that everything that’s happening in your life that’s good is from your spirit and you won’t know that it’s your soul that’s developing or working.
Culture is something where you have a collective thinking, you have a collective behaviour pattern, you have a collective understanding of standards and rules that happen. Culture is very powerful. Our thinking is what the culture dictates your thinking should be. You can have all the vision you want, but if the culture doesn’t match the vision, then the culture is going to prevent the vision from coming to pass.
The real you is the spirit man you and if you are filled with the Holy Spirit and you live habitually with the spirit man you, then you will be in conflict with the other part of you, which is the human nature you. But the human nature you are always going to be in conflict with the spirit you because the human nature you want to live in the culture. It wants to live what you’ve become used to. It wants you to live with everybody else that you are used to living with.
If we don’t actively change our behaviour, it doesn’t matter what we say to each other about goals, targets, about things that we want to change in the ministry. If we don’t actively change our behaviour to match what we say, then behaviour is going to be greater than what we say.
If you’re living in your human nature, then you’re in a place where the order of God is going to judge your behavior. But if you live in the spirit, then the spirit man will live in the order of God, and it won’t need to judge you anymore. Everybody on the earth is going to be judged according to the order of God.
The spirit man that’s in you has dominion over your sinful nature. It has dominion. Greater is He that is in you than he that’s in the world. The problem is that we have to let the Greater One direct our lives. God’s Word is seed and if you speak God’s Word as a seed, the seed goes into your spirit, and because it’s the Word of God, it will continue to rest in your spirit and bring the life that is God’s Word out of your spirit.
The Word of God is not the Spirit of God, but it is the Spirit of God in your spirit waiting to become spirit. The seed of the Word is seed, but resting in your spirit, the seed of the Word of God will become the life of God. The life of God will grow your spirit. It will grow your spirit on this condition, that you keep putting the Word of God into your spirit and let the life of God do the rest. At the same time, the spirit is going to have a next-level impact that is going to be the impact of your soul.
If you live this way as a Spirit being, you will find power and freedom and strength in your future.
