Missions Trip – 25 June 2019: “The reason they put a border crossing there is because we got to pray for them”, “I’m doing this presentation today for you so that you can start to pray for them, before they even go, that their trip is covered in prayer”. Livingstone (they cross two borders, strategic meetings looking to establish campuses, looking for strategic relationships, do a graduation and revival meetings), into Malawi – Zomba (border crossing, graduation), Llongwe, (three graduations), Karonga – (graduation), Chitipa (graduation), Rumpi (Bible School in a prison – visit the prison and graduation), Mzuzu, (two graduations and one in the prison), Zambia – Kabwe (border crossing, graduation), Ndola (graduation), Mufulira (graduation), Kitwe (graduation and they minister in a Church), Luanshya (really good pastor there who was called by God to start a ministry to pray), Lusaka (graduation), back to Johannesburg (3 border crossings).
The First thing – Pray: My first part is to pray. Pastor John wants me to make a commitment to pray for Syd, Pat, Otto and Tina on the mission’s trip. God has raised us up to pray so that our prayers make a meaningful difference.
The second thing – Opportunity to sow: It always takes money to do this, to support four people, 33 days, 10 000 kilometres. “We’ll take up some more Missions’ offerings before they go – so that you can have an opportunity to sow into that. We do have a Mission’s fund that you can do an EFT transfer.”
Children: “I want the children in this offering because they know what’s going on here, they need to know this money is going into Missions. Yes, I wanted them here; I wanted them to hear about the Missions. I want them to see what is going on”.

Reason why abundant harvest must come: “I have been compelled by the Holy Spirit to preach this series of messages because there is an abundant harvest that needs to come to the Body of Christ”. There are two reasons why abundant harvest needs to come to the Body of Christ – God is glorified by my abundance, not by my lack and this is a season of harvest and the harvest is intended for the Church to do what the Church needs to do. God is not glorified when I live in poverty. God needs me to be abundant so that I can give to the Gospel. It’s important that I speak it.
Fighting and defeating enemies: (Genesis 14:19 – 20, NLT), “I just want to say, “Who did the fighting?” Abraham did the fighting but God says, “God defeated your enemies.” The victories are going to come because God gives me the victory. When God is on my side, I fight with the purpose of victory. I never fight with the purpose of defeat. I’ve got to have that victory mindset when I’m fighting those battles because God has defeated my enemies.
Word from the Holy Spirit – tithing: “I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, “You must tell them this. You must tell this group of people this, that if you cannot honour God with your tenth, then there is nothing else in the Word that you can honour God with.” If I don’t honour You with my tenth, then I cannot honour You with anything else in my life.
Bringing my tithe: (Hebrews 7:4-8, NLT), (Hebrews 7:7-8, KJV). When I bring my tithe to a man, I’m bringing my tithe to God. If I do not bring my tithe to men, then I’m not giving my tithe to God. Tithing is no small matter – this is a serious issue. (Hebrews 7:9-11, NLT). (Hebrews 7:12-13, NLT), (Hebrews 7:15-28, NLT) “We are sons of Abraham. If the tribe of Levi paid tithe to Melchizedek and Jesus is after the order of Melchizedek, then we no longer offer tithes according to a law”. I now offer tithes according to honour and faith.
Wealth without toiling: “Offerings to God happened before any law. God had a communication with the hearts of men. “Honour Me with your sacrifice.” I honour God with my sacrifice so that the honour of God can be established in what I’m giving from my labour, the sweat of my brow. This is so He can bless the sweat of my brow so that I don’t have to toil with sorrow and sadness, that I can have wealth without toiling.
Giving my tithe: My tithe is in God’s hands, it’s not in Pastor John’s hands. Pastor John can’t do anything to multiply my tithe, but God does. According to Malachi 3:10, You will rebuke the devourer for my sakes and You will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon me that there’s not room enough to contain it – it is not a one-time kind of blessing. The blessing is so continuous that there’s not an adequate storehouse to contain the blessing, it’s just continuous abundant blessing.
Words and money – the problem: “Your words have been against Me and you have withheld your tithe.” It wasn’t just one thing, it was words and money. Words and money have the same source of the stuff in my heart. The Bible says what my heart is full of will come out of my mouth.
Tithes and offerings: Tithes and the giving of offerings is absolutely vital to the growth of my personal Christianity. When Pastor John teaches or preaches about money it is because God wants me to have freedom. Tithing and giving is a condition of the heart, it’s not about how much money I have or don’t have.
Cheerful, generous giver: (2 Corinthians 9:7-11, NLT). I give cheerfully and God will generously provide all I need. I will always have everything I need and plenty left over to share with others. I share freely and give generously to the poor. God, You are the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, You will provide and increase my resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in me. I will be enriched in every way so that I can always be generous.
Pastor John blesses us: 19And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, NLT). To the Macedonian Church, those who gave beyond their means, Paul said, “My God will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. Pastor John, as our spiritual leader, stands in this office and stands before us, understanding the full magnitude of the responsibility that rests on him, understanding the full magnitude of the responsibility that I have to give – and Pastor John says under this mantle like Paul, in this year of abundant harvest, that God will meet all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God, who meets all Pastor John’s needs – he is not under anybody’s control, because God always meets all his needs. His God will meet all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Abundant Harvest: Pastor John is compelled by God to say: This is the year of abundant harvest. So this is the year that I must start breaking free. This is the year that I must step into a whole new realm of prosperity. Not just a little bit of increase, I’ve got to just go into abundance of harvest and Pastor John is speaking that over me that I will have the abundance of the riches of God according to His riches in glory.
“How’s He going to do it? I don’t know”, but I quit talking about what He can’t do, or what I can’t do. I’ve got to talk about the abundance of grace that is upon me now. I’ve got to make this change now. I’ve got to talk out of my mouth now and say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You, that You have given me faith. And now I use my faith to bring in a harvest – a harvest into my life – of material and financial wealth. I call on that harvest, with my faith and I say, “Come to me in abundance right now in Jesus’ name. It will come to me according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, in Jesus’ name.”
Instruction: “Now I want you to go around talking like this all day, every day”: “Harvest, where are you? Harvest, where are you? I see you harvest, I see you harvest. I see the abundance. I see the abundance. I’m calling it and I’m seeing it. I’m calling it and I’m seeing it. I don’t just want you to call it, I want you to say that you see it and I’m bringing it and I’m calling it and I’m holding it and I’m touching it and I’m feeling it and I’m bringing it. Call it. And you’ve got to talk like it’s already there.” Don’t talk like it’s coming. You’ve got to talk like it’s here.
Don’t limit God: I Start with double, and then triple, but I know, hundredfold can also happen. I don’t put a limit on God and I don’t put a limit on my faith. I go for the max!
Instruction: “Remember what I’ve said and you’ve got to listen to these three messages over and over again”. If I have the faith of a mustard seed, I can tell the mulberry tree to go and pull it in the sea and it’ll obey me. I call that harvest in and it must obey my faith.
