Pastor Sharon: Good morning everybody. Hallo. Good morning everybody. What a good day, what a good morning it is, and we’re here to minister to the Lord, and for Him to minister to us all day long, and all night, and all weekend – this Passover weekend and we bless the Lord for it.
Let’s stand together. Let’s stand. Hallelujah. Let’s pray.
Father, we thank You for this crossover first fruit that we bring to You. We give our hearts to You from the outset, from the start of this weekend, we give You our heart. We give You our hearts, Lord, and we thank You for Your presence with us as always Lord. We just, we love Your presence Lord, and in Your presence is peace, and in Your presence is fullness of joy. Oh hallelujah.
We make the switch right now, from the natural to the supernatural, where we are seated with You Father in the Heavenly realm Lord – in the realm of Your Kingdom, where we belong. We are of Your household Father. This is Your house, where Your presence dwells. You love to be among Your people. Oh Father, and we have access to Your presence at once, because of the precious Blood of Jesus – and Father, we make much of the Blood this whole weekend, and we know that when we make much of the Blood and the power of the Blood, the preciousness of the Blood, that the power of the Blood makes much for us, Lord. The power of the Blood works in our hearts, and in our midst Lord, for this crossover that we’re having Lord. We’re crossing over, this Passover crossover that we’re having, Lord. So, we thank You Holy Spirit, that You are present, and that You are our Good Shepherd, and we say all of this in Jesus’ name, and we all say, Amen. Glory to God.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Lord, this is what all these days are about, is us seeking You first Father, and we want to thank You for the words that will come from You, through Pastor John. Thank You that You are strategically leading us and guiding us through the revelations and the messages that come through Your servant to us Father. We are being strategically led, we are being gloriously fed. You’re feeding us with the finest of wheat, Lord. Oh, we thank You for Your words that come to us now – precious and sweet are they to our hearts Lord. Like rain do they come and fall on our hearts, Lord, like seeds, we receive them, Father, straight into the soil of our hearts, Lord. Hallelujah, and we transform as we sit and receive from You, by Your Spirit, and Your anointing that rests upon Pastor John, rests upon him. We thank You for it Lord, in Jesus’ name, and we all say, Amen.
Pastor John: Thank you. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Won’t you just declare this with me right now: I’m ready to receive everything that God has for me, over this whole weekend, in Jesus’ name. Now I’d like you to turn around and greet a couple of people and say to them, well done for being here, and then you may be seated.
Glory. Glory. Glory. Well, this is a really great thing, a great wonderment to me, that you guys are committed to the Lord to be here, and I say that you’re committed to the Lord to be here. You’re committed to the Lord to be here. I really would not like to think about the fact you’re here because of me. Because if you’re here because of me, then you should have gone on holiday. But if you’re here because of Jesus, then that’s the right reason for you to be here.
So, we’re going to have a lot of special insight into the Word of God this week, this weekend, and we’re going to have a lot of fun. We’re going to have a lot of joy, have a lot of peace. You’re going to have a lot of revelation. We’re going to get crossing over stuff. Hallelujah. And we are never going to be the same again. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
It’s an amazing and a wonderful thing that Jesus died for us. Because of His death, we have a desire in our hearts to be here. If you don’t have Jesus in your heart, then you don’t have a desire to go to church. So other people out there, that don’t believe in Jesus, do they want to go to church? Why do they not want to go to church? Because they just see church as an institution – it’s just some other form of organisation that they don’t need, hey? So, I guess if I did not know Jesus given my personality, and given my desire to achieve things in life, I probably wouldn’t have gone to church either. It’s probably a reason a lot of Christians don’t go to church, because quite frankly church has got nothing to offer them – because church has just become a religion. So, you always have to ask yourself, well, why am I Christian? Why do I go to church? Why do I even belong to the Christian faith? Why not belong to some other faith?
I mean, you know, there’s a barber I go to, because I don’t need much work on my hair nowadays. You know, it’s quite easy to keep this [Pastor John rubbing his hand over his head] sort of intact. I know some people need glue to keep their hair on, but I don’t. [Pastor John and the congregation laughing.] So, but, you know, the barbers that I go to, they are of the Muslim faith, and I arrived there one time, to go and have my hair cut, and it was midday and the barber shop is closed. So, I know my son Garth, he introduced me to those barbers, because while I still had hair, I was very particular about the way it got cut. So, I had to go to a hairdresser, you know. But since it’s no longer there, there’s no point in going there anymore. Right? So, it doesn’t need dressing, it just needs cutting – quite quickly and simply. So, I phoned my son and I said, “How come they’re closed?” He says, “No, they’re always closed on a Friday. They’re closed from 12:00 to 14:00, because they go for prayers.” “You mean they actually shut their business in a busy Friday week time to and pray – 12:00 to 14:00?” This is when foot traffic is like, you know, people getting ready to look smart for girls and for all kinds of activities: weddings, funerals, maybe even church, who knows? They need to go to the barber Friday quickly lunchtime, let’s go have a quick haircut. Right? They’re closed for prayers.
Why not follow their faith? I mean they, you know, they kind of are quite radical and quite demanding on matters of faith. Well, no, I think I’d rather be a Christian faith, because the church – that is the Christian church, the Christian church religion is not as harsh on my lifestyle as others are. Well, you know, those guys, they do Ramadan. You’ve got to fast for a month and that means you can’t eat during the day. Eat as much as you like at night, but you know, during the day, just don’t eat food. But that’s a challenge. I think they’re in Ramadan right now still. But, you know, why not go and have that faith, or why not go… Well, the Christian faith, number one, I do believe actually, that Jesus is the only living God, and the true Son of God. So, of course, there’s that, there’s that. Oh yes, there is that. But as far as all the other things that Christianity has got to offer, you know, it’s the most democratic and very individualistic aligning religion to my… to what I want to do. Because, you know, if I go to church, or I don’t go to church, they don’t really care. They don’t ask me to have special prayer times, they don’t demand fasting times, they don’t demand. So Christianity – it’s a good religion to follow. Huh?
I mean, even if you convert to Judaism, you’re going to, well, you know, if you’re a male, you’re going to have some pain. If you’re a female, you’re going to have to do some other things to convince the rabbis that you are converting to the faith, and then, lo and behold, you’re going to follow fasting days, and there’s going to be ceremonies and rituals and all kinds of traditions that you now have to adhere to if you’re going to be in the Jewish faith. Like, you’re going to have to put something on your door that you have to touch every time you go into your house. So, actually, the Christian religion really suits us. So, I’m very glad to be called a Christian, because it’s such an easy religion.
And, you know, I mean there’s Hindus out there. I’ll tell you the Hindus, they are so scared to offend any god that they make everything their god. So they have these shrines and these temples and they can offer anything that they want to at any given time to this temple. And so, they’ll go and give a bit of grain because they want to give to the food god, or they’ll give, you know, I mean, the rain god, the wind god, the earth god, the everything is a god. And so they’ll offer anything they want to, to any god, because they don’t want to offend any god. So, that’s also quite a tough religion, because if you quit sacrificing to one god, that god could get angry with you, and then you’re in trouble, because you angered a god you didn’t give enough sacrifice to. It didn’t rain so much this summer, so hey, all the community knows we better give a lot of water to the rain god, so whatever the rain god requires, so that the rain god can deliver some water to us, next year, next rainy season. Huh?
So, actually Christianity is really a good… it’s a good religion to follow, because it requires the least from me. I can do anything I want to, because actually, you know, Christianity is so undemanding. Well, I don’t think we understand that if we think like that. If we understand what happens in your heart when Jesus comes and lives in your heart, is that He puts something in your heart, that is His life. And when you have life, His life in your heart, His life is calling you. It’s calling you to relationship.
Hey, this is a good day for us to be in church, because this is the day that Jesus died for us. There is no other religion that can say their god that they serve came and died for them, and the same god raised from the dead for them, and their god still lives today. All the other religions, they have some higher god that they will worship, but any of the servants or the prophets that came and lived on the earth, they’re all dead and remain dead. We have a living God: Jesus is His name. We are in church because Jesus came to die for us. Amen.
I’m going to just read to you a scripture from the Book of Galatians, chapter 4, verse 1,
1 Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave… (Galatians 4:1 NKJV) when Katherine Gallagher and Dennis Peacocke were here, she was talking about how long she worked in the ministry, and she said, “Well, you know, if I’ve got something against my dad it’s because he employed child slave labour, because I always had to work in the ministry.” Remember she said that? Yeah, any child that’s been in the ministry will know that actually you’ve worked in the ministry. Yeah. I wonder if the same applies to parents. “Son, go wash the car.” “No.” “Yes, you don’t wash the car…” [Pastor John shows how the son will get a hiding.] “I don’t want to wash the car.” [Pastor John demonstrates that the son gets a hiding.] Right? In the modern day world, in our woke world, that would be considered child slave labour. Under previous generations it would be called learning responsibility. Huh? Just learning basic life responsibility. Treat something well and you’ll understand what life’s all about.
So, this passage of scripture says even if you are an heir to whatever you’re supposed to be inheriting, if you’re a child, you’re no different to a slave, because you can’t manage your inheritance. You don’t have any rights to what is rightfully yours, because you’re a child an you have to be treated somewhat as a slave because a slave is commanded. So, a slave… if you have a slave… “Slave, do this, do that, do that.” I’m not talking about someone that serves you and you pay them. I’m talking about a slave. If you are a slave, then you have no rights. When you have a little child that’s growing up in your house, they don’t have rights. In our modern day world, parents want to give their children rights from before they’re even born. They want to treat them in a special way, because shame, the poor child in the womb doesn’t understand. You’ve got to talk to them nicely and you’ve got to do all that, and they want to give the child all the rights, even before they’re born and then when they are born, they get all these rights, because they have this ideology of how to raise children – and they grow up confused and have no direction in life, because they think they are entitled to everything without doing anything for it. I’m teaching quite well this morning already.
Well, this scripture says that it doesn’t matter what you have the right to, if you’re like a little child – if you are a child – you’re like a slave. 1… though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. 3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. In other words, what was ever happening in the world, we were under its control. 4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent His Son, Jesus, … sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Now, if a child is legally adopted into a family – legally adopted into a family – that means it will have the name of the family it’s adopted into. It means that if there are natural born children, the adopted born children, child, has the same rights, has the same status, has the same rights. This is good news. This is good news, because we have been adopted. We have been adopted. Through Jesus, we have been adopted as sons. That means we have all the rights, same rights, that the First Son, Jesus, has. 6 And because you are sons, the scripture says, 6…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your heart, into our hearts, crying out, “Father, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (Galatians 4:1-7 NKJV). So when I was talking to you about all these religions, and about all these gods and about everything, you thought I was just meandering. You should know me better than that by now. Hallelujah.
Because watch what verse 8 says, 8 But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. So we served, if you did not know God, you served everything else, even though they’re not God, you served them as gods. And so, even though you may not go to a temple and offer sacrifices, or read a Quran, or read the Torah, or read the Bible, you may offer sacrifices of plenty at altars. Plenty, there’s plenty of people that are offering sacrifices at altars in their life. 9 But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, it’s a two-way relationship, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? Why, when you know the Living God, and when God is in your heart, do you want to go back serving all the gods that everybody else still serves? Why do you want to go back there? Well, I want to belong in the society. I want to have my place in life. I want to belong in the culture of the people that I feel comfortable with. I want to belong. So whatever gods they serve, I want to serve those same gods, so I could belong. Because the feeling of belonging – the people that I can be friends with, it’s very important to me. So you are just saying that those beggarly elements are more important than the relationship that you can have with the Living God. So, 10 You observe days and months and seasons and years. The Apostle Paul writes 11 I am afraid for you, lest I have laboured for you in vain (Galatians 4:8-11 NKJV).
So, when I got up here onto the platform this morning, I said to you, well done for being here. Truly well done, because what God has done for us is that He is drawing us into a relationship where when He makes a strategic requirement of us, He will never do it, just because He wants to prove that He’s God. He doesn’t need us to come. He doesn’t need us to come and be here, so that His ego can be satisfied. Sometimes we judge God like that, like our humanity. You know, this is a real thing that happens in the world, it’s called projection, and most of the time, you will evaluate things in the world by the filters that you have in your heart, and your mind, and your life. So if you are someone that is constantly deceiving, and manipulating, and living on the margins of life, then you think automatically everybody else does the same. So, all your relationships are based on that level of deception, those margins of manipulation and deceptions, so that you can get what you want. So you think everybody else lives like that, because that’s the way that you live. So, you’re always distrustful of everything, because you’re always seeing something through two eyes – the deception eye. The one eye is the way I want things to turn out and the way I must make you believe so that I’m giving you a message in such a way that I can achieve my agenda, but you don’t know what my agenda is. So I have to keep thinking of the two agendas what I’m projecting to you and what I actually want to achieve for myself. Right?
So, if you live your life like that, then you think everybody else lives like that. So you project your own value system onto everybody else. So by default you’re always going to be wondering what manipulation are they trying to do to me, what kind of marginal conversations are they now having with me, so that I can defend myself against that. Huh? If you’re someone that is… I mean, this right now, is a big deal in our country, it’s a big deal in other countries, certainly in the United States. Corruption is a really big deal. Corruption in South Africa, I think unfortunately, has caused many, many, many things to be more difficult for the average person in South Africa. Corruption in America is much more sophisticated, but it is very quickly leading the entire planet down a slippery slope, because unfortunately, California has become the centre of wokeism, and if you don’t know it, but California has a very big influence on the rest of the world, and if you come to South Africa, you will hear the liberal leftist agenda in our schools, in our government, in our universities. Where did that spirit come from? It started somewhere in America. It started also in Europe. I mean, that’s a spirit that’s been around a long time, but the biggest messaging has come from America, Australia, New Zealand. You talk about countries in the world, where so many constitutions are being redefined to be more inclusive. Right? It’s corrupt thinking. It’s corrupt thinking. All right.
So, I’m grateful that God has sent us Jesus, that Jesus came to die for us and give His life for us. When Jesus did that, He did some amazing, amazing things, and over the course of this weekend, we are going to get into details, and we are going to push into things that are going to be – I’m trusting – meaningful answers to questions, life questions, that you and I have to deal with all the time. Okay. Are you ready for it? I have to speak like this this morning, because everything else that we’re going to be talking about over the next couple of days is on this foundation of this scripture, He has… 6…God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, and we cry out, “Father!” 7 Because we can cry out Father, we are no longer slaves but we are sons, we can cry out, “Father!”. Therefore, our relationship is not filtered through rules, it’s not filtered through regulations, it’s not filtered through community orientations. Our relationship with Father is directly with Him, and the more you cry from your heart, “Father”, the more He recognises son is calling. Son and Father were destined to have a lifelong relationship. Amen.
Certainly, for the beginning of your life to eternity. It was quite a moment for me, it was quite a moment for me, as I know it was for Dennis also, because we haven’t seen each other for many years, and I haven’t had time really to talk to many people, to anybody really, much about his visit here, because my life went on a fairly substantial journey since then, but you know, when I saw him at the airport, of course, the last time I saw him, he was 63 or 65, so he was my age. Now he’s 81. In those 18 or 20 years, he’s changed, his physical appearance has changed quite dramatically. You know, I mean as an 81 years old, I mean, he’s still, even all of the physical conditions that he’s been through, the cancer struggles that he’s had with his throat, he’s had quite a lot of trouble with his colon, and many, many things he’s had struggles with. Even so, he’s remarkably strong, you know, and he’s, I mean, he’s a trained, I think he said, third Dan karate martial arts expert and trainer. He had his own Dojo, I think he said it here, for many years he had his own Dojo. You know, when you’re 81 years old and you can still make the stance like he did [Pastor John demonstrating a pretend karate stance], you know, then you still have some strength left in you. But there were obvious signs also of his physical deterioration. Well, I’ve got news for you and me – we’re all going that way, even if you’re five next week, or next year, you’ll be six, and whether you like it or not, it just continues, and it reveals itself in wrinkles and other things.
It’s an amazing thing that when – and I was just talking to Sharon about it the other day – it’s an amazing thing that when you’re in your 20s and your 30s, never mind when you’re in your teens, you know, when you’re in your teens, you think you know everything and nobody can tell you anything, because you think you know everything. Then you get to 20, 22, 23, and you suddenly find out your dad was right about a lot of things, and maybe you don’t know everything and you’re not, you know, he was not maybe as stupid as you thought he was, you know. And then you get to around about 30 years old and you realise, “Eish, I better get on with my life in a hurry, because things have already—I’m not in my teens and 20s, I’ve got to get on.” Amazing thing is that when you get a little bit older, certainly for me, I guess it was when I got to 60, you begin to realise, actually, that your walk with God needs to be a powerful force in your life. Because you’re closer to the other side of eternity than you were when you were born – you’re closer to that side of eternity. It’s an amazing thing that when you have been walking with God and you do walk with God, you can imagine yourself – and I do, I have conversations with Sharon – I can imagine myself just walking one day and I don’t even know that my heart has stopped and I don’t even know that my body has decided to stop working, because my soul and my spirit just transitions out of this body into the presence of God, which presence I walk in now. From my heart, I call, “Father”, from His place He calls son, and Father and son have a relationship that just continues even though this body stops working. It just continues. I want to encourage you today, if you don’t know God the Father like that, now is a weekend that you can know God the Father like that. You need to know Him like that, you don’t need to put God in a box and say, “That’s for that time of my week or that time of my year,” we all need to put a God in our lives so completely that day-by-day we walk with Him, we walk with Him.
I just had these words for Sharon the other day, I said to her, I said, “You know Sharon, you and I, when we see each other in heaven, we’re going to have lots of wonderful, holy conversations,” and her response to me was, “Let’s have more of them while we are here and have the rest of them when we are there.” Because that’s the way God designed it. He designed us to have holy conversations, holy conversations, holy conversations, and then when we stop having them here, we just continue them there. The good thing about there, is that we’ll be in the presence of the Father, Himself, and all the saints that have gone before us. Those ones that have fought lions for faith and never saw Jesus; their children were killed because they were sons of God, covenant children of God, that went through – Hebrews says – they went through untold persecutions because their faith was in the Living God, never knowing and never seeing the Messiah, yet they died believing. Those people are all going to be in heaven, and when we go and talk to them like I’m talking to you today, when we go and talk to them, we’re just going to know, and we’re going to say, “Oh, you were alive at Abraham’s time, and you came from the seed of Abraham, and you were part of Abraham’s whole setup.” “Yeah, I was there when I saw Isaac running around as a little boy. I was there, but look at Isaac now, father of faith, father, look at him.”
You see, the Bible stories are not just stories for us now. The Bible stories are there for us, for our encouragement, that those people are living still right now, there. And there is just an eye blink away. So when Jesus came to die, He came to live in earth time, and we’ll talk about time, we’ll talk about time while we’re together. Over the next few days, we’ll talk about time and energy. I mean, it’s an amazing thing, I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but it’s an amazing, it’s just an amazing thing that God the Father could take the energy of Heaven through words. He could take the energy of Himself through words and put it into the form of a fetus into a woman’s womb, and that Child could be born. And while He was walking on the earth, He had the pure energy of God’s, Father’s Blood in His body. I mean, it’s a mind… it’s a thing that my mind can’t grasp that the Blood that was running through His veins was not the blood of His natural father, it was the Blood of the Heavenly Father, and the Blood that could have no sickness, it could have no disease, it could have no imperfection, no impurity, it was perfectly always doing everything it needed to do in His body, which is why Jesus had to be killed on the cross, because there could never be anything else that could kill Him. And because He had such power of Heaven, such power of God that was in Him, that was with Him all the time, there would be nothing that could ever stop Him from controlling the earth while He was in His body. And so, He had to come and be the Living Sacrifice that when they cut His Blood, and when they shed His Blood, and they spilled His Blood out of His side, it wasn’t just His Blood that He was shedding, it was the pure Blood of the Father that was in His veins that He came to shed for us.
It amazes me that the Father was so invested in you and me, into the image of the first Adam that was born, that the first Adam that was born could even make a mistake, and He would have a plan that He would send a second Adam that would carry His Blood once again. And because the second Adam carried His Blood once again, He was able to do the will of the Father. And God took all of that and He said, “I’m going to send it, then I’m going to raise Him from the dead, because He made, He had no sin, He had no wrong, He did no wrong, He did nothing that was, He had nothing like that, He was perfect so He was killed illegally so I could raise Him from the dead.” Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
So, you and I, we have an eternity, we have a wonderful, a wonderful, a wonderful eternity. And, you know, as I was preparing for this time together we’re going to have this weekend, I really, really wanted to, and I felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to on this day, this moment, this service, talk about the foundation of our lives, which is Our Father, which is Jesus Who came to die, Jesus Who was raised from the dead, and we’re going to have communion in a few minutes, because when Jesus came, He came to do things that no other man could do, and He came to conquer everything that could not be conquered. So everything that was, that is in our world, that is designed to undermine us, He came and conquered it so that we don’t have to be undermined. Wow.
So, I have got good news for you this weekend. I’m going to talk as the Holy Spirit leads. I’m going to talk to you about this thing that you have inside of you. You have inside of you a driving need to have power. You have a driving need to be dominating. You do. You have a driving need to be in power and to be dominating and to be influential and to lead. Don’t you? It doesn’t matter if you’re called in your gifting to serve, there is still something inside of you, even if you’re called to serve, there is something inside of you that says, “I want power. I want to have dominion.” Come on, even if your gift is serving. I’m sure if I offered you the option today of having a bond or being bond-free, which one do you want? So you can have a house where you can live where you don’t have to pay any mortgage, any bond, or you have to pay it. Which one do you want? Bond-free. Why? Because then no one can control you. Then you have power. You have dominion. Right? If I ask you today, do you want to be disease-free all of your life? Yes or no? [Congregation responds, “Yes”]. No, no, no. Come on, this can’t be true. I’m sure there’s someone who really wants to be sick here. No? You don’t want to be sick. Listen, if you’re sick, you can get a lot of sympathy. You don’t want sympathy? Now come on, I mean men are famous at this, they get a little bit of cold and a little bit of a snotty nose, and they want their wives or someone in their life to come and feed them hot tea. “What can I bring you? Are you okay?” And men are like, “Oh, please help me, help me, help me.” You don’t want to be sick for that? No, rather be well, right? Some women, I know, not my wife for sure, she’s one of the healthiest people I’ve ever known, really, but I know some women, they just, you know, get sick and even use certain times of the month to draw attention. “Help me, help me, help me.” Come on, even that, you want to be free of sickness. You want to be free of disease. We do, don’t we? Of course, we do.
I’ll tell you what, when Jesus came, the Father said He’s going to take stripes on His body, 39 of them, so that by His stripes you can live disease-free. You can live free of sickness and disease. He didn’t come to do a half-job. When He came and He had those stripes on His body, He came to do the whole job. He came to deliver us from everything that would try and dominate and control our lives, from money to sickness and disease, to oppression, to all kinds of fears. He, Jesus, came. He took all of it on His body. And now that we are sons of the Father, our hearts cry to the Father, “Father.” The Father says, “Son.” Now if you remember in the beginning of that scripture it says, if you’re a little child, then you’re no different to a slave. Why? Because a little child’s got to be commanded. Brush your teeth, even before that, eat your food, drink some water, go to bed. Because a little child – doesn’t matter even if it’s a king’s child where the child himself might have 10 servants to do everything – when they’re a little child, they’re as good as a slave, because they are commanded.
Do you know what religion does? It keeps all peoples as slaves because religion wants you to follow commands. Jesus came to give us a relationship that’s not about commands; it’s about relationship. Because a son can make decisions in the house of a father, because his heart cries Father. The Father’s heart says, “Son!” The Father’s heart say… The son says, “Father, I want to know You. I want to know You.” Okay, I’ll read about You. I read this here that it says that You call me blessed, You call me full of grace, You call me. “Does that mean You have blessed me, empowered me to prosper?” “Yes, son, that thing I gave Adam to have dominion, to have control, to have power, I put it back in you. Everybody wants it, but you can have it.”
So why is it you think that the church is so weak? That the church people don’t want to, people don’t want to go to church? Because, I mean, church is too full of rules, too full of stuff. I thank God that I got delivered from this. I mean, when I was a young, young man, I saw this happening all the time. Successful businessmen did not want to go to church. You know why? Because when they got to church, the church wanted to control them through rules. Businessmen were in the… had this mentality, let me live life and let me get on and let me make some money because I want to be in dominion. I go to church, rules, regulations, control, do’s, don’ts, do’s, don’ts, do’s, don’ts, march to the tune of the church. Businessmen, they’re all about, “Let’s see an opportunity, let’s see if I go this way, if I go that way, if I go this way, I can make some money, I can do this.” And they’re all about faith, risk, finding ways of making opportunities work. Don’t look at me like that. So when they looked at this whole system that’s like do’s, don’ts, do’s, don’ts, but when you were 13, you went to a ceremony that said you had to be baptised into the church, so now you’re always going to be in the church for the rest of your life, so every now and again you got to go to church, or an elder comes and knocks at your door going, “Can I have a ‘tiende’ please?” [Tiende = Afrikaans word for tithes.] A tenth. If it’s not that kind of religion, it means you’ve got to go into a little cubicle with a cloth, go talk to a guy through some kind of a meshing, and speak all your sins, do’s, don’ts, do’s, don’ts. “You want to get free? Do’s…” “Okay, if I do that enough, then I can go out and go and sin as much as I want.” So the church has become so weak.
But God didn’t design us to be a group of people that are about do’s and don’ts. He designed us to be a group of people that are pressing in for dominion. Let’s dominate. Let’s lead. Let’s be in charge. Let’s take life and live it. And then so unfortunately, because the church has been so weak, very strong leaders in the world system have shown such an example of how to be successful that all people knew was to look at their way of being successful. So then that’s what they did, and then they started to get to a point where they say, “Do I choose to have money and have stuff that I can be in control and have dominion? Or do I go to this thing that completely constantly tells me about do’s and don’ts, and they want to take my money and they want to just tell me how to live my life?” I don’t blame anybody for choosing: “I don’t want that stuff.” Hey? Do you? I don’t blame anybody for that. The church has to become something much more than a bunch of do’s and don’ts. The church, and I’ll tell you, even our group of people, we have our own subculture of do’s and don’ts, and we have to be careful that we don’t create a whole new culture of do’s and don’ts that just looks different to a last generations of dos and don’ts. You can shout me down, and say, “You’re preaching really good.”
And so, you know, I’m constantly evaluating me. Me – my own walk with God. Me. I’m constantly evaluating me, everything I’m doing in my life. “Father, have I done it? Does it please You? Have I misread You? Have I done something that… because I want to please You more than anything else.” If I’ve got that relationship with My Father, the Holy Spirit is sent to comfort me, strengthen me, and empower me, and help me, and teach me, and lead me to truth, so that my life doesn’t become about a different set of do’s and don’ts, but it continually establishes me in my relationship. And so should we all be in that place. Hallelujah.
Well, you know, I’m trusting that right now, this morning, right now this morning, the healing power of God is going to come here, is here to touch your body and do something to your body that you need in your physical body. Hallelujah.
So, you know, a man that I respect and I admire greatly really taught me so much about faith. He ended up getting, I mean, he… he’s one of the preeminent teachers about God doesn’t want us to live a life of miracles for healing. He wants us to live a life of health. Surely, that’s the best way to live, not to always believe God for a miracle, but to believe and live a life of divine health. Right? So, one of those men that has been a teacher in my life, he ended up having some severe back troubles, and he took the Word of God and he prayed and confessed the Word, but he was in immense pain in his back. All the time he was in pain, and he was pressing in with the Word of God. He had ministry tapes playing all the time in his home. He had his wife, who also has been a wonderful teacher of the Word of God, lay hands on him, pray, declare, get into agreement with him. He had other ministers come into his house to come and pray for him. He did not receive his healing. So he went to the doctors, he got an operation, and he had a fusion done in his back. And so, when he was in a better condition and he was no longer in that severe pain, he asked the Lord the question. You see, I believe if we have this level of honesty with God, then God can talk to us. But if we are dishonest with God, then we don’t have… we can’t receive from God. If we are dishonest with God, we can’t receive from God. So, he said, “So, Lord, why did I not receive my healing?” And the Lord said to him, “Because you’ve used your faith for the ministry, for everything that I’ve taught you to do in your life assignment, but you’ve not grown your faith for your physical health. So, when you needed your faith to work, your faith was behind the curve of your need. So your need became much greater than where your faith level was for that issue. So now, if you want to continue to live a life of good, a life of divine health, you’ve got to build your faith so that if something comes into your life, your faith can deal with it.”
So I found myself, you know, you would have heard in my story on the Epic, I found myself stage one, having an absolutely fantastic time in the Epic. Kit and I were feeling good, we were riding strong. Next minute, I feel this thing in my inner thigh here, and I’m not going to go into all of the details, but I know something’s wrong here. And as I’m climbing, climbing, I realise every time I had to do a switchback turn this way, I’m in trouble because you have to put more power with your feet, your legs, to get this way, and the pain is just getting worse and worse. I’m evaluating why I didn’t have the faith to lay hands on my muscle and say, “Be healed, muscle,” so I could get on with the race. If I don’t have that level of honesty with God as a spirit being. Huh? I’ve got to just at least ask God the question, don’t you think? I mean, Kit and I prayed together right then. We prayed, I got back on my bike, and I kept riding. It didn’t change. The pain got worse.
So, I have to face this that my… I have not grown… I didn’t take the time to build my faith to a point that in any event like that, if something like that was going to happen to me, that I could speak it so that it wouldn’t. I have to admit that. Now, you know, some people might say that I’m too vulnerable when I talk like this, but I believe that if I’m not honest with you and I’m not honest with God, then you don’t know what kind of issues I deal with before God. And I’m not the only one. I’m not the only preacher that deals with stuff like this, because all of us have got to get through our humanity if we’re living life. Amen. Praise the Lord. Praise Jesus.
So, I’ve always been very clear about this: there is no… there is no healing in these hands. These hands are just John’s hands. There’s no healing in these hands. There is no healing power in this body. This is a human natural body. I’ve got news for you: there’s no magic in your hands either, huh? But there is a power that’s available to us. It’s called the life of Christ that lives in us, and there’s the power of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. And if we obey Him, then our obedience to Him brings things into our natural world that we couldn’t hope to have. Amen.
So, I believe in the healing power of God. I’ve had the healing power of God heal my body many times, many times. I’ve experienced the witness of the healing power of God. I mean, it’s a small thing, but it’s a big thing. I mean, when I went to go… I had a sore tooth, I went to go and see Dr. Amanda, she took an x-ray, she said, “You have an abscess in your tooth. Only one way of dealing with it, we’ve got to take the tooth out.” I said, “I just… can I take something?” She gave me some antibiotics, because I wanted to have time for my faith to work. So I needed an intervention so my faith could work. So I set about using my faith to strengthen my faith so that the faith that God has given me through the power of the Holy Spirit, that His divine life could come into my natural body and fix something. That was… I don’t know how many years ago. I went back a year later because I had another issue with my teeth. She took x-rays, she couldn’t even tell which tooth the abscess was in because the bone had rebuilt into my tooth. That’s the power and the healing power of God. It is available to us. It is available to us. Hallelujah.
So, I believe in this thing completely. And so, if I’m in a place where… where I’ve got to trust in God to do something, that’s… that’s where I’m growing more and more, that I can rather trust Him than to trust anything else. Amen. So I have to… I have to believe that I’m on a journey and you’re on a journey. And so that’s why the church in tradition and past times has been full of judgment. Yeah? “Because you said this thing, but you didn’t have that happen in your life.” Well, you don’t know what my journey is. I don’t know what your journey is. So, I don’t want to judge you for anything. God is going to bring correction, but not judgment. Correction is a powerful thing. It means you’re a son. Judgment has death with it. Correction brings life. It’s a completely different thing. That’s why God had to judge Jesus in death so we could be corrected as sons. Hallelujah.
So, we are going to live in this time together this weekend. We are going to live in a place where we are going to learn about dominion and about authority and about power, and God’s power, God’s dominion, God’s authority, how it applies to Ecclesia, Crossover Kingdom economics, and to all of these subjects. I believe God’s going to do such a mighty work, because you have come to give first fruits to God. Because you have come to give an offering to God and bring your energy and bring your time and say, “We are coming this weekend to come and bless God.” Hallelujah, praise the Lord. Praise Jesus. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord.
Lord, we are set up to have communion this morning, and we’re going to have communion in a minute. I just want to emphasise to you that you can receive your healing when you’re taking communion. I just feel like I have to take a minute here. For years, for years, I was raised in a church where it was taught that before you take communion, you must examine yourself and repent from your sins. And so, you know, it was like always when you were having communion in the church that I grew up, it was always like, “Okay, I’m going to have this. Lord, forgive me for everything I’ve done wrong. Forgive me, Lord, for the things I know and the things I don’t know. And please forgive me, so because I don’t want to drink, as the scriptures says, I don’t want to drink unto myself damnation because I’m unworthy to have the Blood and the body of the Lord Jesus. So please forgive me.” (1 Corinthians 11:27-29). I was raised in a church like that. But that’s not actually what that scripture says. You’ve got to read the whole scripture in context. It says you’ve got to examine your condition of the way you are with the Body. That’s the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ while you’re on the earth. What is your condition in the Body? And if there’s a correction you must make of your condition in the Body, do it now. Say, “Lord, I’m going to do a better job.” But it’s not a thing of “I repent now so before I quickly have communion so that I’m okay.” When you drink communion, you understand, I’m taking the Body of the Lord Jesus. I’m taking these elements, and this serves to help me integrate into the Body. This is a serious thing that is so serious that the end of that scripture says if you don’t examine yourself like that, there are many of you that are sick, there are many of you that are weak, and there are many of you that even die early because your evaluation of the Body is inaccurate and the way you operate to the Body is going to cause you to be weak, sick, and some of you are even going to die early. That’s how serious God takes His Church, His Body. Hallelujah.
So, I wanted to just bring that out here because there should be no reason that if you’re in here, in this service today, there should be no reason that when you take these elements that you can’t say, “Lord, I receive my healing. I receive complete wholeness. I receive complete wholeness, complete wellness. I receive divine, divine health, and everything in my body that is not supposed to be there, it leaves in Jesus’ name. And I receive a restoration of all things in my body that it functions the way that You designed it to function in Jesus’ name.” Hallelujah, praise the Lord. Hallelujah.
I want to further declare that when you are having the Blood of the Lord Jesus, that His Blood has washed away every impurity, every cause, every root, every root that is bringing any kind of affliction to your life. The Blood of Jesus has taken care of it, has washed it. Remember, Jesus’ Blood was pure. It was the very life of the Father’s Blood that was in His Blood. When you take this as a symbol of the Blood of the Lord Jesus, you receive freedom from anxiety, from stress, from all kinds of mental anguish, even things about whether you’re saved or you’re not saved, whether you’re this or whatever. You can be free of it in Jesus’ name. There is power in the Blood of Jesus. There is power in the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the reason why the Father had Him put on the cross and had Him whipped for us. It’s because the power was in the Blood to set us free. There’s power in the Blood. There’s power in the Blood. There’s power in the Blood of Jesus. There’s power in His Blood. His Blood is here to save ourselves from ourselves, and we ourselves are sometimes our biggest problem, ourselves. His Blood has come to save us from ourselves, even. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Jesus.
It is my desire that as you participate in the elements this morning, the communion this morning, that you have an accurate recognition of what we’re doing. We are doing it together as the Body, because you can go home and you can have communion any time of day, any time of night, for anything. There’s some of you here that you should be doing this. You should be doing it from today. You should be doing it for a period of time, because God wants to do something in your life, and He wants you to remember every day. He wants you to remember every day that His Blood is working for you, His body was broken for you. Every day you need to have communion by yourself or with your partner, your husband, your wife, or your kids. Have communion every day to remind yourself, God did it for me. But now when we do it as a Body together, we’re doing it because there’s power together in unity. We’re recognising the Body. We are recognising the power of what Jesus did in the Body. Hallelujah. Can the people that are serving us this morning, can you please serve us?
I thank God that we are not a weak religious organisation. I thank God that we are not an organisation that counts on how good we organise things or how good our event management is. Huh? Or how good music we can play. I thank God that we are a people that are pressing into the heart of God, that we are constantly pressing into truth. Aren’t you glad? Hallelujah, hallelujah, praise Jesus. Please hand out. You know, it’s amazing, this time of the service always gets a bit quiet, but it’s just quiet because people are serving you. We’re not quiet because we’re religious. You know, we’re just quiet because, you know, when somebody’s serving you, it just goes that way, right? I mean, even if you’re sitting in someone’s house and they bring you a cup of tea, I mean, in the moment where you receive the cup of tea or coffee in your hands, you’re not jumping up and shouting and screaming, you know? You’re about to receive a cup of hot tea or hot coffee, so you’re kind of respectful of the whole process. Well, that’s what’s happening here. We’re respectful of the serving process. But in my heart, I’m joyful. I’m joyful in my heart. My heart sings Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to the Lord. My heart is free. My heart is free from any kind of ritual. Hallelujah, what about you? Free, I’m free, I’m free.
I’ll tell you, the longer and the more you, I want to tell you, you guys, this church, you people, you are such a blessing to me because there’s some things that I started to preach 20, 25 years ago. I started to preach things that when I started to preach them, people didn’t actually want to hear what I was saying because it was different to the sound that they’d heard from other preachers. But the longer I have continued to preach what God told me to preach, the more time has gone by, I realise that God was having me sow seeds into the earth, into the earth, so many years ago that are now coming into harvest time. Hallelujah, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.
Yeah, you know, I could do prophetic… I could do individual prophetic things right now, because the Holy Spirit is on me, but I’m going to declare this for all of you. There are many, many, many of you here that have been standing for things in your life for a long time. Harvest time is now. Harvest time is now. Harvest time is now. It’s now. It’s now. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank You, Jesus. You know, I’ve also come to know this, that sometimes people want you to prophesy like this, “Thus saith the Lord,” otherwise it’s not prophecy. Well, that’s, no. If I’m speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that is prophecy. Hallelujah, glory to Jesus. So, won’t you all stand with me please? [Congregation stands to have communion together.] Hallelujah.
This is a representation of Jesus’ body, and the Lord said to us in the Book of Corinthians that we must do this until He comes. We must keep remembering that what He paid the price for, we have it. When you put this, I’m going to just take a piece of this; otherwise, I might chew this for half an hour, and I’ve got to talk to you. But when you put this in your mouth, as it touches your mouth, I want you to realise that this is the very healing power of God available to you, into your senses world, into your physical body, into your life, into your world. Jesus has made His body available to us so that we can live in His kind of life, not a lower form of life. Receive your healing, receive all of your well-being, receive all of the good things of life that Jesus paid the price for. Receive it now in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, praise the Lord, praise the Lord. And this is the Blood of Jesus. I declare that when you take the Blood of Jesus, all mental anguish, all emotional distress, all soul ties and soul powers that have been controlling you, you are released from them, you are delivered from them in Jesus’ name. All bad habits, all things that have been controlling your world and controlling you and not allowing you to break free into the dimensions of God that you are supposed to be in, you are free because the Blood has shed, has washed it. His Blood has washed it; He hasn’t just covered it, He washed it. Hallelujah, you are free from the power of sin, you are free from the power of all of the world system trying to control you. Free in Jesus’ name. Free in Jesus’ name, free in Jesus’ name, free in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, we receive our freedom, Father; we receive our freedom because of Jesus. Hallelujah, receive your freedom. Hallelujah, praise the Lord, thank You Jesus.
Won’t you just raise your hands? If that makes you uncomfortable, that’s okay. Hug someone that isn’t holding their hands up or… just do it appropriately. Just thank the Lord and say thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus for our health. Thank You for our healing. Thank You for deliverance from all of those things that call us, cause us to be distressed, diseased. Thank You, Lord that we are free from all anxieties and worldly cares in Jesus’ name. We thank You, we thank You, we praise You Lord. We praise You Lord. We praise You Lord. We praise You Lord. We praise You Jesus. We praise You Jesus. We praise You Jesus. We praise You Jesus. We praise You Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, praise You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise Jesus.
Well, you know, I need to lay my hands on people, so I’m going to do something a little different today, okay? Amen. I’m going to do, I’ve been searching in my spirit how I can go about this today, so I’m going to just do things a little differently. Bertus, will you come stand here, please, and just face the congregation? And Ryan, I want you to come stand here, please. Sean, where’s Kit? Praise Jesus, praise Jesus, praise Jesus. Was… there was someone else. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank You Holy Spirit. Thank You Holy Spirit. Thank You Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Yes, Renier, come and stand here please. Pat, come and stand here please Pat. Glory to God. Glory to God. Janine. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus. Madison, come stand over here, please. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Jesus, thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord. I’m going to put my hands on these people, and I’m going to put my hands on them for the healing power of God to touch their bodies, and as an act of faith, they’re going to lay hands on you, and God’s going to heal you. And I want everybody in this church to come and have someone lay hands on you. Hallelujah, hallelujah, and after I’ve laid hands on them, I’m going to have to ask someone to help, I mean, Renier’s only got one arm, so be careful, he’s had an issue with his one hand, so you can just take one hand, and as people walk past you, put one hand. I’m doing this by the leading of the Holy Spirit here, because there’s some things God wants to do here today. So I declare in the name of Jesus that the healing power of God flows through their bodies, that the healing power of God touches you and delivers you, and then works through you. It touches you and then works through you as an act of faith to everybody that comes and stands in front of you. It touches you and then it works through you. It touches you in your body, and it works through you. It touches you and it works through your body to others in Jesus’ name. It works in you and then works through you. It touches you and then works through you. The healing power of God is here in this service this morning. This is the healing power of God to set us free, set us free, set us free, set us free, set us free, set us free in Jesus’ name. Set us free in Jesus’ name. Glory to God.
So, Empie, I’d like you to help me, please. I’m going to start with Mia, and then we’re going to go line by line, by line. All these young people are going to come first, and so each one come and stand in front of one, and then move perhaps down that line so that we keep it going. So let’s do the first row to give an example. Mia, go stand in front of Janine, and the next and the next. Go stand in front of someone. Hallelujah, hallelujah. One more. Okay, so as we’re going to go, they’re going to lay hands; healing is going to… it’s going to be quick. Just lay hands, and then the next people come stand in front of someone. Receive your healing in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, off you go. Next, next. Hallelujah, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You, Lord. Okay, next ones, Sean, someone’s got to come and stand in front of you that’s not family, or next-family, you know. Praise the Lord, praise You, praise You Jesus, praise You Jesus. Receive your healing in Jesus’ name. Be healed in Jesus’ name. Next, let’s keep it moving. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Jesus. God wants to do this today because He wants you to know that healing power is from Him, not from me. It’s all in the Body of Christ, it’s not just about me. Hallelujah, hallelujah, let’s go next, let’s keep moving. The healing power of God is here to heal people of diabetes, there’s people that’s getting set free from all kinds of heart diseases. There’s people getting set free from all manner of internal organs in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, liver diseases, pancreas diseases, bladder diseases, kidney diseases are being healed in Jesus’ name. They’re being healed in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, there’s all manner of mental disorders, all manner of mental disorders are getting delivered in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, keep, keep them coming, keep them coming. Glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus, thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, be healed, be healed, be healed, be healed in Jesus’ name, be healed in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah. Glory. I’m believing that today, especially, especially mental disorders are going to be healed. Anxieties, depressions, oppressions, unusual mood swings, unusual emotional highs and lows, be free in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, glory to God, glory to Jesus. Hallelujah, I mean this should not make anybody uncomfortable, but there are some women that are going to be prayed for today. I don’t know who they are out there that have unusual monthly issues, and it’s really difficult. You’re going to be free of them in Jesus’ name. You’ll have a natural cycle without having the problems that come with it in Jesus’ name. You be free in Jesus’ name, you be free today. The healing power of God is here to make it natural, not oppressive in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Glory to God, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus. Hallelujah. Muscle injuries, bone injuries, ligaments, ligaments that have been torn that have never grown back together properly in the name of Jesus, the healing power of Jesus comes on your body and begins to repair ligaments and cartilages and muscles in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah. Blood pressure, blood pressure, blood pressure. Ha, blood pressure… you don’t have to have blood pressure problems in Jesus’ name. You don’t have to have blood pressure, be free of it in Jesus’ name this morning. Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord. Hallelujah, thank You Jesus, Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus. Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord. Be free, be free, be free, you be free in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah. I thank You, Lord, that You had us do this at the beginning of our weekend because the Word is going to confirm all of these miracles as we go through the weekend. Your Word is going to confirm healings, confirm these, confirm what You are doing here right now. All the sickness and diseases leaving in Jesus’ name, it’s gone in Jesus’ name, delivered in Jesus’ name, set free in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
This is the power of God working through the Body right now. The Body of Christ is at work, doing the work of Jesus right now. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus. Hallelujah, come on, keep your faith. Just keep praising Jesus, pray in tongues a little bit. Just keep your faith with my faith. Let’s just keep making a pull on the Spirit of God. We thank You Holy Spirit that there is a release today of the gift of healings, the gift of miracles, the gifts. Thank You, hallelujah. Thank You, Lord that the gift, the gifts, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are working, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are working for deliverance, for being set free, for healing, for a whole new upward trajectory in Jesus’ name. Glory to God, the gifts of miracles, the gifts of healings. Hallelujah, glory to Jesus, praise You Jesus, praise You Jesus, praise You Jesus, praise You Jesus. Thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord, thank You, Lord, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, glory to Your name, Lord. Oh yes, yes, yes, we say yes and amen to every one of Your promises. Your promises say that we are free from sickness and disease. Your promises say we are free from every curse, from every anti-blessing in the name of Jesus. We are free in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, we are free, we are free. Glory to Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Jesus.
There is a power of God that is being released here today. It’s going to be evident the whole weekend long. You’re going to see, we are going to press into the things of God. We are going to press into the ways of God. We’re going to press into the very life of God and the glory of God and the anointing of God. Hallelujah. This is our first fruits, Lord. This is our first fruits, Lord. We are bringing it to You this weekend. Hallelujah, glory to Jesus, glory to Jesus. Praise the name of the Lord, praise the name of Jesus, praise the name of Jesus. We’re all saying, “Father, Father, Father, Father. We receive all that You have given to us through Jesus. Father, Father, oh glory to God, You are our Father, You are our Father, You are our Father. Hallelujah, we say yes Lord, yes to healing, yes to blessing, yes to the life of God, yes to the glory of God. Yes Lord, we say yes, we say yes, we say yes. Thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God. Praise the name of Jesus, praise the name of Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, thank You Jesus, thank You Jesus.
Yes Lord, I’ll tell you what, the Lord’s just said to me now, there’s people that have had hormonal problems, I mean all kinds of things. A male can have testosterone problems, women can have estrogen problems, there can be hormonal imbalances taking place in people’s bodies and you don’t even know it. Hallelujah, hormonal things have a big implication of how you can live your life, your thyroid and your hormonal problems. People are being delivered and healed from that right now in Jesus’ name. God’s taking care of it in this meeting today, in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God, God can do miracles, He can do, He is doing, He wills it to do it. Thank You, Lord, thank You that You have raised, put these people in the front of the meeting today to use their hands as Your hands. And I thank You, Lord, as we all give thanks together, Your healing power is released all over this place in Jesus’ name, all over this place in Jesus’ name, and You will continue to work and continue to work and continue to work in Jesus’ name. You will continue to work and continue to work and continue to work in Jesus’ name, in Jesus’ name. So we’ve got an hour. You want to have a 5-minute break so that you can go to the bathroom and drink some water and come back, and then we’ll just see what else God’s got to do. I got a whole list of things God’s going to do this weekend. Let’s take a five-minute body break.
29 March 2024 Crossover First Fruits Part 2
Pastor John Bendixen (WTB)
Praise the Lord. How are you all doing? God’s good, hey? Okay, all you healed people, all you blessed people. [Congregation responds, “Yes.”] Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to Jesus. It’s an amazing and a wonderful thing to be in the presence of God and to know the Living God. That really is, it’s always a privilege and a thing on a daily basis I never take for granted. It’s always a very special, very special privilege that we have. Okay, if you listen to Crossover Moments on YouTube in the mornings, then you will know I’ve… that on a number of occasions, I’ve been speaking about the love of God and the Continuous Perfect State of Being. So I’m going to just talk for about half an hour to 40 minutes now, and then we’ll break for a couple of hours. I’m going to use this as a setup session to the afternoon session, so we’re going to shift gears a little bit, building on the foundation from this morning. Okay, you ready for it?
Matthew 4:17 says, 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:17 KJV). So what was Jesus preaching? Repentance, because the kingdom is here. That was what Jesus… the kingdom has come, right? The Amplified Bible puts it in this way, same scripture, 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, crying out, Repent… and this is where the Amplified Bible is really good because it amplifies it. Repent means …(change your mind for the better, heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence for your past sins)… In other words, hate the way you used to live. If ever there’s a thing that you can say in church, or in the Christian world, hate something – hate your previous sins. Amen. 17…for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matthew 4:17 AMPC). If something’s at hand, then it means it’s right here. The Passion Translation puts it like this, 17 From that time on Jesus began to proclaim His message with these words: “Keep turning away from your sins and come back to God, for heaven’s kingdom realm is now accessible.” Can I read that to you again? 17 From that time on Jesus began to proclaim His message with these words: “Keep turning away from your sins and come back to God, for heaven’s kingdom realm is now accessible.” (Matthew 4:17 TPT). In other words, Jesus is here, and because He’s here, the kingdom’s here. So keep going away, when you repent, it means move away from those things that used to hold you back, and keep moving away from them because the kingdom of heaven is now available.
I’m going to go to a much older translation, which they’re unlikely to have at the back there. It’s the Young’s Literal Translation. So the Young’s Literal Translation, what it does is it takes the Greek words as they are written and translates the Greek word as it is written and doesn’t add any English syntax to it, to make it read better, but keep the meaning. It just is a literal translation of the Greek words. And it puts it like this: 17 From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say, ‘Reform ye, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens.’ I know that’s old English, but that’s the Young’s Literal Translation, still in the old English. Can I read it to you again? I’m going to read it again in the old English, then I’m going to read it to you again with just the “ye” for the “you” just to make it a little more easy to hear. 17 From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say, ‘Reform ye, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens.’ (Matthew 4:17 YLT). So I’m not going to change the way the order is written. 17 From that time began Jesus to proclaim and say, ‘Reform you, for coming to you the reign of the heavens.’ or come to you the reign of the heavens. So if that’s the literal translation and we put all those translations together, the meaning stays the same. Jesus is saying, “There’s an old way that you’ve been living. Repent from that old way, because come to you is the way of heaven. Come to you is heaven. So now that heaven has come to you, live differently.” Amen.
Matthew 4:23 says, 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people (Matthew 4:23 NKJV). So what happened this morning? Jesus healed all manner of sickness and disease among the people. It wasn’t my hands and it wasn’t the hands of these people that were standing in the front here. They were merely the hands representing Jesus’ hands. Hallelujah, glory to God! Jesus came to do that.
I’ve got some notes here that I’m determined that I will not lose things that the Lord has given me because I just have a digital thing, I’m now… I’m also going to write things as I have time or space or whatever to write and put them on my phone. So I will continue to go between the two. In case you’re wondering, I’m not going back to the old letter of the law. So I’ve been ministering on the love of God, and as I’ve said to you many times before, and I’ve ministered this before, I went through a whole period of time where I was really pressing into what the love of God was and what is the power of the love of God. And I wanted to have something that was just my searching to understand the love of God better. And my journey took me to a place where He gave me a definition of the love of God, which is a Continuous Perfect State of Being, a Continuous Perfect State of Being.
Now, if I say that to you over and over again, you might get lost in the words that I’m saying. But my own pressing into God to get that definition was I wanted to understand this agape love of God as the Greek calls it, which is an unconditional love. That means that when God loves you, there are no conditions attached to His love. He’s not saying to you, “I’ll give you all My love on condition that when you receive it, you’ll behave properly.” No, he’s not putting any condition. His love is unconditional. Right? I mean, I’m just using, in the Bible language, the word love is unconditional. The agape in certain places, there are other places it’s phileo love, which is friendship love. There’s different forms of love as it’s used in the Greek in the New Testament. But there are certain places where it’s talking about the love of God, it’s talking about the agape love. And when it’s talking about the agape love of God, it’s an unconditional love. So I want you to understand more about this unconditional love. So I pressed into the Lord, and He showed me, and He gave me this definition: a continuous, which means it’s always present for you and me. There’s never a time when it’s not there. It’s continuous. It’s perfect. Always perfect in the way that it touches you and me, and it’s available to us. And it always reveals His state of Being. It’s a Continuous Perfect State of Being. So when I got that whole thing, I realised, but that’s God. Hello, God is love. God doesn’t have love. God is love.
So then you can say that God is a being that is a Continuous Perfect State of Being. There is no imperfection in God. He’s perfect. He is also the beginning of all beings and the end of all beings. And if you can wrap your mind around that to understand that by definition, you’re better than me and anybody else that’s ever lived on the planet, by the way, because if you can understand or come to some kind of understanding where was the beginning of God, then you would have to get to the thing that actually there was no beginning other than God. God was the God that was in the beginning. It means there wasn’t a beginning before God. He was the God that made anything begin.
So in our human mind, we’re trying to define it, and we can’t define it because we’re looking for a beginning, but there was no beginning because He was everything that was made everything beginning. So there wasn’t a beginning before He was, and can you understand that? Not so much. Not so much. You know, that’s the best I got for you. But He is a Continuous Perfect State of Being. He’s continuous. He’s perfect, and He always is in the state of being of perfection. Because if He’s the Originator of everything, then everything that came from Him must be perfect. There can be nothing that comes from Him that’s imperfect. So where does imperfection come from? Not from Him. So I don’t want to get caught up in the theology of evolution and no evolution and the beginning of all times and things. Please, let’s not stop there. Let’s just keep going. Okay.
So if we can say that God is love, then we know that God is love, and He’s a Continuous Perfect State of Being. Where does this Continuous Perfect State of Being live? Where does this Continuous Perfect State of Being live? God the Father? He lives in a place. Doesn’t He? Come on, just bear with me now. I’m going to put it to you in this way. He lives in a continuous perfect state of occupation. Wherever He is, that’s where He occupies. Right? If He’s someplace, then He’s occupying that place, because He’s a Continuous Perfect State of Being that occupies. Wherever He occupies. That’s where He is. I mean, I know this is simplistic, but please bear with me, because I’m trying to use language with you that is not religious. I’m trying to break a mold here in your thinking as we go this weekend. Are you going to work with me? Amen.
So the place that He occupies, that’s a perfect place. Because how can a perfect Being occupy an imperfect place? So if He’s occupying your spirit, then your spirit is no longer imperfect, because He’s occupying your spirit man, not your body, your spirit man. So your spirit man now becomes a perfect place because He can’t be in a place where there is imperfect. In fact, the Pharisees tried to accuse Him of that, and He was saying, “How can two things live in the same place? How can darkness live where light is, and how can light live where darkness is?” It’s impossible. Can’t come together. How can the devil and God be in the same place? That can’t happen. If God occupies a space, that space is a continuous perfect state of being. Your spirit, therefore, is a continuous perfect state of being, not your soul and not your body, but your spirit. This is good news, because if the Continuous Perfect State of Being is living in your spirit, and you are in your spirit a continuous perfect state of being, then every answer you ever need in life is in this place of a Continuous Perfect State of Being that already lives in you.
So why doesn’t it come from your spirit man into your life? Because you’ve got a whole lot of soul in between and a whole lot of life stuff in between. So whatever is in you can’t get out through you to where you need it to be. Okay, we’re going to talk about a few things here in a minute. If I backtrack for a minute and I say, where does a Continuous Perfect State of Being live? Where does He live? Pastor Sharon’s answer, sitting on the front row, was accurate. Also, he lives in heaven. But heaven is us understanding that when we look up into the heaven, we look up into a place of unoccupation. So we talk about the sky as the heaven, right? But I don’t see God the Father living in the heaven that we can see. He’s living in a place that we can’t see that’s also called heaven. But if I keep using this language that He lives in heaven, then I’m allowing myself to be limited by this constant English language that we all use all the time that we’re going to go to be in heaven. I would rather say I have a relationship with a Continuous Perfect State of Being Who lives in a continuous state of perfect being in me. Therefore, perfection is in me and all I need to do is get the perfection out of me into my world so that my world can have the same level of Continuous Perfect State of Being. [Carmen says Pastor John is preaching good.] Thank you Carmen, I am preaching good.
Yeah, you’re getting stuff that’s been in me for a long time and it’s coming out now, because some of you will know I’ve been preaching this stuff about the love of God being a Continuous Perfect State of Being for a long time. But the fullness of time has come for me to preach some things that now you as a church and we as a people can receive these things. And that’s why I said in the beginning of the service I’m grateful to all of you that you have a heart that’s ready to hear and that God has brought us to a crossover moment where we are prepared to come and give our ‘holy day’ weekends. This one as a first fruits to God and He honours first fruits and because He honours first fruits, He says, “John, I’m releasing you to preach about some stuff that you’ve been… It’s been in your heart for many, many years and now it’s time to preach it.” Hallelujah, hallelujah, praise the Lord. Some of the stuff I had to go and look up things before, so I mean places that I had to go and look for stuff that I’ve put them aside for a long time. Because I hadn’t felt able to preach that.
Okay, so if the Continuous Perfect State of Being, God, is Who He is. So He is Love. Okay, so His love is not what we would see as love. His love is Who He is, is Who He is. So if we talk love, if you and I talk love and I’m talking about a friendship, then we tend to want to measure love of a friendship, and so we don’t know if we love each other unless there’s some measurement involved, huh? Come on, talk to me. So if I’m friends with Pastor Sharon, then I’m going to measure my friendship with her. She’s my wife, but she’s also my friend. If she’s my friend, then there is a, then we tend as humans to measure our friendship by what we will do for each other, or do with each other. Okay? So then we say we have the love of friendship. If you have two men that are friends, then they are going to measure their love friendship in two different ways. You know, so if I say I have a friendship with Bertus and we as men are friends, we are going to measure our love as friends in one way. And so part of it is going to be the language we speak to each other. It’s going to be revealed in the respect that we have for each other. It might be revealed in time that we give to each other. Perhaps there’s a courtesy, an honour and expectation of if he calls me, or I call him, that I can lean on him for some of his energy, some of his skill, some of whatever it is. I’m not talking about him, me being your pastor now, I’m just saying if it’s man to man, do you understand what I’m saying? If it’s man to man, that’s probably how we’re going to do measurement. If it’s, if it’s woman to woman, Stefnie to Christi, for example, if it’s woman to woman, they might measure the love of friendship differently. It might mean, do you share your nail polish with me, you know, or it might mean I share with you what kind of makeup I wear because… and I’ll tell you that because you’re my friend. I won’t tell everybody else that. So there’s… we have this kind of thing where love gets measured in our world.
I’m wanting you to understand something, that there’s no way that we can measure God’s love. It’s immeasurable. Do you know how the Apostle Paul writes it? He writes it in the Book of Corinthians and he says, it is my… in the Book of Romans, he says, you won’t even know the height, the depth, the breadth, the length, the width of the love of God towards you. Because you can’t measure it. It’s immeasurable because God Himself is Love and He Himself can’t be measured. So if I use the Greek word of trying to understand the love of God and I say it’s the agape love, which means it’s an unconditional perfect love, I still can’t measure His love because there’s nothing that I can measure it against. Because He’s the beginning of Who He is, is Love. And so what else is there to measure it by? Because there’s nothing else because He is the Perfect Continuous State of Being and He Himself is Who He Himself is, and He Who Himself is, is Who He is, is Love. But He is Who He is and I can’t measure that love. It just is Who He is. So in order for us to understand a measure of His love, He says, “I’m going to send you My Son. He’s going to come and walk amongst you. When you see Him, you’ll know what kind of love I have.”
Hey, I have to just get to this because maybe some of you might not come back for the afternoon session. I’m sorry for you, if you don’t, because we’ve got stuff we’re going to get to. But anyway, just in case, ‘net ingeval’. Who He is, is revealed in the order of everything that He has created. So, you don’t live in the place or the space that He occupies. We only live in a very small, small, small, small, small, small, very small, small, small part of the space that He occupies. Very, very small. But He has a space that He occupies, which we have always called Heaven, that I’m just going to say is the continuous perfect place of occupation. And in that place, He’s got creatures that look completely different to any other creature that we see on the earth. Some of those creatures have got wheels on their legs – as described by somebody who knew little about wheels – because he was in a vision and he saw all these creatures around the throne of God and Daniel was one of them and John was one of them and as they were taken into heaven and they were allowed to observe some things in heaven, they talked about creatures that had eyes all around the head, and they had creatures that had wings and wheels and some of those things they couldn’t describe them. In our logical world that we live in, in this minute little world we think, “Well why would God want to create creatures like that?” Well, He is Who He is, that He creates what He creates and they all have a purpose, because nothing He creates doesn’t have a purpose. So if He created them for a purpose, whatever the purpose they’re doing, we don’t know it yet, but one day we’ll see what purpose God created all kinds of creatures for, because He lives in a place of perfect occupation – Perfect State of Being – always.
So when He comes with His Perfect State of Being, and He comes down to earth with a Perfect State of Being Son, Who is the very demonstration of His love, and He says all of you, “Repent from your past ways, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” He is saying the perfect place of being, and the perfect place, that Perfect Being has now come to live among you. And what you see happening among you, is coming from that place of occupation to the place you occupy so that where you occupy life, the occupation of that place can be a demonstration to you of what that place looks like. So you can see in this place what that place looks like.
So what did they try and do? All of the people that were religious people, the religious people, they came and they said, “Moses gave us the law, and all these laws, and you’ve got to obey all the rituals and all of the regulations and all of the ceremonies and everything that we have lived all these years.” And Jesus says, “I am a Continuous Perfect State of Being, Being, and that’s not even hard for Me to do. I’ve come to fulfill all the law and the prophets, but I’ve also come to show you occupation, a much higher way of living, because till now, you could only live the way rules and regulations dictate. But I’ve come to show you a way of living that is way more than that. Here’s what He was saying, “I’ve come to fulfill every order that you and the Ten Commandments, the laws of God have put in place.” So I’m not talking about the rituals of men now, because the Pharisees and the Sadducees and those guys, they put rituals in place that they expected the people to live by that was not the order of God. So the Continuous Perfect State of Being has come down to earth, to fulfill everything that the Continuous Perfect State of Being gave as a blueprint to humans on the earth to live, so that they could live successfully.
So those that came from Him, He said, “I can do that easily because I’ve lived that way in eternity. But I’ve not just come to successfully do all the law and the prophecies. I’ve come to show you what the occupation of that Life Being force is possible to you.” The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. It’s right here for you. So what is it? When Jesus says, “I’ve come to give you a new commandment?” What’s the new commandment? To love. “I’ve come to give you a new commandment that you all so love one another.” Are you with me? “I’ve come to show you what occupation has, that the Divine, eternal Continuous Perfect State of Being is and the place that He occupies. I brought that in Me to come and live it among you, so I can show you what it looks like there, so that when you see it in Me, you see what’s happening there. And so when I go away, there’s another One Who’s coming and He’s going to help you to be able to live together and you’ll be able to have that love that’s in Him, that’s in Me. It can be in you and you can have that same Love together. A new command I give you. It’s not a command of rules and regulations.” This is a command of have the new Continuous Perfect State of Being living in you, and when you receive Him in you, through Jesus, you have all the power you need to come out of you so that when my brother Bertus here, he does something I don’t like because we’ve been measuring our friendship, now he’s fallen short of one of the measurements. I’m going to use Stefnie and Christi. You shared something with her about makeup and now she went and used all your makeup and did a better job and now you’re offended. I mean little things like that happen, right? So one of us has… the friendship has been measured and found wanting, so now we withdraw because you’ve upset the measurement system. Bertus, ek en jy gaan vas sit jong. [Pastor John saying to Bertus in Afrikaans they’re going to have their differences.] That’s how it is, you know, you’ve upset the measurement system. God says, “If you receive Jesus into your life, you can’t upset My measurement system. Whatever you do, nothing you do can upset My measurement system because I live, I am a Continuous Perfect State of Being. Therefore, what you do, can never change My Continuous Perfect State of Being.” So, whatever you want to measure your walk with God, sorry, you’re putting the limitation on yourself because He’s a Continuous Perfect State of Being and there’s nothing you can do to change Him, never could, never will, impossible. “Oh, but Lord, Bertus, you know, he did something wrong, and I sommer ‘vloeked’ him. I swore at him because I was so upset because he upset the measurement system.” God says, “That’s your way of measuring stuff. I don’t measure it like that. I don’t care how much you swear at Me; it won’t change Me, because I’m a Continuous Perfect State of Being. You can’t change Me. Swear at Me, love Me, don’t love Me, do whatever you want to do, say whatever you want to say; you can’t change Me. I am eternally Me, I always have been, always will be. There’s nothing you can change about Me. So if I just choose to love you, you can’t change My love for you; it’s always the same, no matter what you do.”
So that Being lives in me now. Come on, He’s occupying me now. I have the capacity. I’m not saying I’m perfect yet, because I just ‘vloeked’ him, but he did nothing wrong this morning and I already swore at him. Here’s the thing, I have the Continuous Perfect State of Being living inside of my spirit. Now I have a power available to me that I can look past the measurement system that we have as men, and I can tap into this and love him past our measurement system.
I’ve got news for you. When we come back from lunch, we’re going to start talking about how measurement systems are continuously preventing you from walking in the full blessing of God, the full power of God’s prosperity. Because when He says, “Seek ye first the…,” [Congregation responds: Kingdom of God], “…because the kingdom is at…” [Congregation responds: hand] “Seek ye first the…” [Congregation responds: Kingdom of God], a place that the Continuous Perfect State of Being occupies, seek that because you have a perfect place in you. And when the two come together, you don’t have to ask for anything because you occupy everything. [Laughter]. Wat sê jy Leigh-Ann? [Pastor John gives her a high five.] This is good news, hey? Wat sê jy Miné?
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Glory, glory to Jesus. We are going to have breakthroughs. We are going to go to new places. We’re going to have an experience with God like we have never experienced Him before. Because when I release Him out of me, then it doesn’t matter what’s in disorder, because we’ve got to talk about it this weekend. We’re going to talk about the order of God, because I didn’t quite get to it. I was setting it up, so but I have never quite got to it, but the Continuous Perfect State of Being that is God has got to have a place that He occupies and when He occupies the place, He has a continuous perfect state of order, because Who He is, is Love that has order and that order is what we can live by because that order is in us. Praise Jesus, Praise Jesus.
So, I declare to you as Jesus does, ‘Repent, repent, turn away from your old way of thinking about how you can do things in life, and because the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ (Matthew 4:17 KJV). Hallelujah! Glory to Jesus! Glory to Jesus!
It’s time for lunch. Yeah, we have to eat and drink, but it’s provided for you. Lord, bless this food; may it only do our bodies good and not any harm in Jesus’ name, and may it nourish us and give us strength for the rest of the sessions that Pastor John is going to teach, because I need to be wide awake in Jesus’ name, amen. Amen. Be wide awake when you come back. None of this “magies vol, ogies toe” stuff, hey? [It means when your tummy is full, you want to close your eyes and rest.] I’ll see you at lunch, after lunch at 14:00.
