18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and
whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him
(Luke 8:18 NKJV).
Father, my prayer is that You help us to take heed how we hear from the Spirit of God coming
through a vessel. Help us, Father. We ask You for mercy where we have not taken heed and
we thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that has been shed for us. We ask You to forgive
us and we ask You, Father, in the name of Jesus, by the help of the Holy Spirit to help us take
heed how we hear. Help us to take heed how we hear. And the second thing on my heart, I
pray, Father, that the Spirit of knowledge and of fear of the Lord rests upon us as a people.
Much word has been sown into our hearts, much knowledge has come to us as a people, but
we ask this evening that the fear of the Lord come upon us. The fear of the Lord come upon
us.
Tonight and every day that we live our lives, just as the Spirit of God was saying through Pastor
John this evening that You desire for us to change in our lives, tomorrow, the next day, the way
that we speak, the way that we think, the way that we conduct ourselves in our homes and in
our business place. We ask that the fear of the Lord come upon us, that we would honor You
in thought, and in word, and in conduct, Father. We ask that in the name of Jesus, by the help
of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Pastor John: Amen. Hallelujah. The greatest, that’s the greatest thing that we can cultivate in
our lives is the fear of God. It’s the fear of God. You know, it’s not something that is easily
received, but it’s the most powerful thing because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
And if you read through the book of Proverbs, wisdom is the principle thing. So, if you fear
God, it’s only the beginning of getting the principle thing. Wow. Praise Jesus. Thank You, Lord.
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Lord. Amen. Hallelujah.
