Welcome to this follow up to the 2 messages the Lord had me teach on Sunday 9 and 16
July.
If you are serious about your freedom from all sin then listen to my 2 messages over and
over again. Make notes of everything that the Holy Spirit is emphasizing to you.
The Lord just recently said this to me:
“I do not hate sin because I am religious
I hate sin because it harms.
Sin, once at work in men, in all of it’s various forms and manifestations, does tremendous
harm-hurt – damage – destruction – to people!
It is malignant.
It grows and spreads.
It’s invasive.
It’s progressive and grows uncontrolled.
If it is not checked it will kill the host it is living in!”
Precious Heritage of Faith people…
The wages of sin is death.
This is not physical death.
This death means: You are cut off from Life!!
You are cut off from the power of God in that area!
He does not cut you from His powerful Life force.
You are His child!
It simply means that in your area of sin His Life is not there even though it can be there.
Ps John recently gave us a definition of sin: ’Twisted Living without God.’
Romans 6:23
For the wages which sin pays is death, but the bountiful free gift of God is eternal life
through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus came to take away our sin.
In His death and resurrection, He imparts His own life to every one who receives
Him.
When I receive Him I receive His very resurrection life into me!
This life in me is so powerful! It has the capability of taking away every sin in me!
The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God,
Who takes away the sin of the world! John 1: 29
Do you see this?
He took it away! Away from me!!
The only key here is faith!
Faith in what?
Faith in the truth that His very life in me has the power to take away every sin in me!
How do I have faith for this?
Faith comes by hearing the word of God about your freedom from sin!
Faith is not revealed by the size of your need.
Faith is revealed by the size of His Word in you heart!
These are scriptures and confessions that have been part of my life for many years and faith
always rises in my heart whenever sin pops up in my flesh!
Remember:
The Word tells me to do the stripping off of my own sin!
God, in the cross already defeated the power of sin in my life.
Here is the powerful scripture to show this in a magnificent way!
For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh-the
entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit.
Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned
sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that
sacrifice]….Romans 8: 3 Amplified
God, in the cross subdued and overcame all and any sin in my flesh!
He deprived any and every sin of my flesh of it’s power !
Now it’s up to me to strip them off with my faith!
Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let
us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that
wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the
particular race that God has set before us. Hebrews 12: 1 Living Bible
The following scriptures are for your meditation.
It will also really benefit you greatly to listen to my 2 messages on ‘Freedom from sin’
Then read Romans chapters 6,7, and 8 and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal your freedom from sin
to you on a very personal level!
If you don’t quit —you will eventually become fully persuaded in your heart and faith will be
revealed and you walk totally free from all the sin that has tripped you up and slowed you
down from running the amazing race that God has set before you!
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, things have become new.
I say:
I am in Christ and I am a new creation. All things have become new.
My previous moral and spiritual condition have gone and the new has come now!
Romans 5:10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is
much more certain, now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved daily delivered from
sin’s dominion through His resurrection life.
I say:
I am daily delivered from sin’s dominion through the resurrection life of Jesus!!!
Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as
Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might
[habitually] live and behave in newness of life.
I say:
So just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father
So I too am raise from sin by that same power and I habitually live and behave in
newness of life!!
Romans 6: 14 For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you.
I say:
Sin shall no longer exert dominion over me!
Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed
me from the law of sin and of death.
I say:
The law of the spirit of life in me has and is freeing me from the law of sin and death!
Romans 8:13
For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the
power of the [Holy] Spirit you are [habitually] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the
[evil] deeds prompted by the body, you shall [really and genuinely] live forever.
I say:
Through the power of the Holy Spirit within me I am habitually putting to death
I am deadening – I am making extinct – every evil, twisted deed prompted by my flesh
And I am truly living!
