Brother Jerry:
Thank you very much, Praise God, Good evening everybody. Have a great day today? If you haven’t, it’s not over; still time for God to do something that you’re going to like, amen. Praise God! Could you stand with me one more time and let’s pray and then we can get right into the Word of God.

Father, we bless You tonight, we honor You, we thank You for Your presence in our midst. We thank You for the Lord Jesus; we thank You for the Holy Spirit. Thank You for everything You’ve done to make our lives better and are continuing to do, to make them better than we know right now. We give you praise, Heavenly Father for this opportunity to sit at Your feet, to hear Your Word, I thank you for giving me utterance in the Holy Ghost. To open my mouth boldly, as I ought to declare the Word of God with accuracy, simplicity and with Your anointing. The anointing destroys yolks, removes every bondage, so we’re counting on that tonight in Jesus Name. And we give You praise, in advance for all that shall be accomplished and we will be sure to give You all the glory, Hallelujah. Can you give the Lord a good shout of praise, hallelujah. Amen, Praise God. Okay, shake hands with somebody before you’re seated and tell them; “it’s good to be with you tonight, hallelujah”.

All right, Praise the Lord. I’ve been enjoying having the opportunity to impart into your lives and appreciate how receptive you’ve been, amen. It’s a whole lot easier, when people are receptive. The bible says; preach the Word in season and out and I’ve preached in some churches, where it was out of season, but not here; praise God, not here at all. You have been so receptive and I’m honored to be in your presence and thank you for the way you’ve honored me, by being so receptive to the Word, hallelujah.

I was praying today and I don’t know how Pastor John wants to handle this, but are you going to make an announcement later or did Joe talk to you yet? Okay, I’ve been preaching quite a bit, not just here, but before I even got here and so I understand, in fact my daddy told me this one time, before he went home to be with the Lord, he said; son (and he worked for me for about 20 years) and he said; son I know you’re the one who hears from God and you’re my mentor, I became my own father’s mentor. He said; but could I give you some fatherly advice? I said; sure dad! He said; even God took off one day. He said; you don’t seem to do that. I said; dad, I’m passionate about what I do and I’m very energetic and highly motivated. He said; well, it’s just your daddy talking, take it or leave it, but even God took off one day. I said; I understand.

So I was praying today and the Lord said to take off Saturday. So I’m not sure if you guys want to continue and you preach and Joe preach or whatever, keep going, but I’m going to take off Saturday, okay. I’m fired up tonight and ready to go, but I’ve got two services Sunday and we’ve got Monday and Tuesday. Then I travel back to the U.K. and then travel back to the U.S. and have a few days off and then I start all over again. So I’m going to take my dad’s advice and be like God and take a day off. Is that all right with you guys? Okay then, we’ll just hook right back up Sunday morning and see what the Lord will do. Praise God.

I don’t think a lot of people realize the kind of demand, when you’re not just a preacher, but you’re endeavoring to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit. I do that and it’s very demanding. I go to bed after these services, with the next service on my mind. I get up with the next service on my mind, I’m thinking about that service throughout the day and

sometimes I get the leading of the Lord, in the middle of the night, three o’clock in the morning and you know, or sometime earlier that morning or in the afternoon. So I’m constantly thinking about it and that’s very demanding, because I don’t want to come in here and miss the Lord, I don’t want to miss God.

I could pull out a sermon that I preached in Chicago, forty years ago and preach it for you and it would probably be okay, but I’m not that kind of person. I’m dedicated to what I do, I’m passionate about it, but once again, every once in a while you just need to rest and wait on the Lord and do something that’s a little different from just praying all day, studying all day, fellowshipping all day, don’t misunderstand me, I love that, but I’m human. I need a break every once in a while, hallelujah, amen, praise God. So, hallelujah, you guys do whatever you want to do Saturday, amen, praise God. And if you decide not to have a meeting, stay in prayer anyway whether you stay home or whatever, just stay in prayer, Praise the Lord!

Are you ready? Look at your neighbor and say I’m ready how about you? Alright, I want to make a few statements to you before I ask you to open your Bibles and these are all fresh notes hot-off-the-press just this afternoon, Praise God. I personally believe that one of God’s greatest desires is to show us His glory; I have no doubt about that whatsoever, that it is one of God’s greatest desires to show us His Glory and we’ve learned thus far that His Glory is the manifested presence of God, the manifested power of God and the manifested goodness of God. Now wouldn’t you agree that would be on the top of the list on God’s agenda that His people experience His Presence, His Power and His Goodness? And I’ve said before, if you’re experiencing the Presence of God and the Power of God and the Goodness of God that is the solution to everything you’ll ever go through in this earth. It’s the answer to every problem, it’s the answer to every challenge, amen, and that’s why we should be in pursuit of it.

Now God’s not going to force Himself on anybody, amen. He’s a gentleman, the Bible says; you draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. So He expects you and I to initiate it, but He will accommodate you if you’re hungry for Him. If you want more of Him, if you crave His fellowship, then He will not disappoint you, but He wants you and I to initiate it. Can you say, amen. So it is His desire to manifest His presence, in His presence as we found out last night is fullness of joy, you ok Brynn? It’s fullness of joy, amen. How many of you experience that? In the presence of God there’s fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore, hallelujah. The Bible says that in His presence, the enemy is stopped and stilled. You get into the presence of God and every assignment of the devil, that is on your life will be broken, praise God. Amen.

I don’t ever get on a commercial airline without praying, you know, I don’t ask for the Lord to be with me. If He “ain’t” with me, I “ain’t” going! I know He’s with me, so I don’t ask Him to be with me, because I have His word that He’s with me always, hallelujah, amen. Low He’s with me and high He’s with me. Praise God. But I always ask, when I get on that plane that, Your Presence not only be with me, but that Your Power be with me and Your Goodness be with me, because I’ve been on plane’s; in fact I’ve flown to Africa one time and there was a man just sitting up a few rows from me. He got up to go to the men’s room or to the toilet and he fell in the isle and the flight attendant ran to his aid. She didn’t know what to do with him and she said; “is there a doctor on board, is there a doctor aboard?” I didn’t ask what kind and I said; Yeah, I raised my hand. She said, what kind of doctor are you? I said; a heart specialist. Amen.

She said; I don’t know what’s wrong with this man, but I don’t know if it’s his heart, so please come check him. I walked up there and I laid my hands on him and began to pray. Everybody gave me plenty of room, hallelujah, amen. I prayed over him, praise God and prayer in the Spirit over him and in a little while, he woke up and he looked at me and smiled real big, he said what happened? I said; I don’t know, but Jesus just made it right, hallelujah. She said; are you really a doctor? I said; look he’s well! Amen. You never know,

what you’re going to experience on an airplane, amen. So you want the presence of God you want the goodness of God.

I remember one time, I was flying to Los Angeles and I was sitting next to a man. He was by the window and I was in the isle, we just spoke to each other casually, hello you know. He said; I’m so-and-so and I said; I’m Jerry Savelle, we just had a little formal greeting there. In a little while the flight attendant came back and she said; pointing to me, and said; I know who you are, in a few moments I’m coming back to get your autograph. I said; okay. In a little while, the pilot came out and he was going to the toilet, he looked and I’m right on the bulkhead on the front row and he looked at me and said; hey, when I have a moment, I’m going to come back and talk to you. I said; okay. Then another flight attendant came up, from the back and she said; hey I’ve got one of your books, would you autograph it? I said; sure. In a little while one of them came back and brought me a cup of tea and wanted to know, if I wanted something to eat and finally this guy said to me; who are you? I said Jerry Savelle. He said; well, everybody on this plane seems to know who you are, even the pilot.

The pilot came out, about that time and he got down on his knees, in the isle and he said; man, lay your hands on me and pray for me. I’ve some major decisions I’m about to make. I prayed for him and the man said again; who are you? I said; I’m Jerry Savelle. He said; how does it seem like everybody on here knows you? I said; well, I’m sure not everybody knows me. He said; well, I’ll tell you one thing; I’ve had no service since you’ve boarded, everybody’s catering to you. I said; well, that’s the goodness of God, that’s the favor of God. He told me, he said; well, I’m Jewish and I said; well, God loves Jews too. Did you know God loves Jews too? Amen. So the presence of God; that helps when you’re on a plane, the power of God helps, when you’re on an airplane.

Jesse’s been on airplanes and lightning struck and blew a hole in the roof. He was reading his bible, you know and people were making fun of him and pointing at him. Boy, when lightning hit that plane, Jesse said; even sinners was asking for prayer, Baptists started talking in tongues. He said; that now nobody minds that I’m a preacher and I read the Bible, they all wanted me to pray for them! It helps, amen, to be aware of the presence of God, the power of God and the goodness of God. Amen.

Lift your hands right now and thank God for His Goodness, thank God for His presence and thank God for His power. And of course that’s not just on airplanes, you need it every day of your life, Amen. Praise God. I remember when one woman got on board, she sat next to me and the moment she sat down, she grabbed the arms of that chair and squeezed real tight and she said; I am so afraid, I hate airplanes. I don’t want to be on this plane, I don’t like flying, but my family made me, because there’s no other way I can get to where I need, as quickly as I need to get there and my family made me fly. I wanted to leave early and drive, but they made me fly. She said; is there any possibility that this thing will crash? I said; no ma’am, not as long as I’m on here. She said; why? I said; well, I’m a servant of the Lord, I’ve got an assignment, to go do something and we will reach our destination safely. I said; let me just pray for you. I just laid my hands over and prayed for her and she just settled down. In a little while, when we got up to go, she said; if I ever fly again, I hope I get to sit next to you.

I depend on the on the presence of God, the power of God and the goodness of God every day of my life. You need to learn to do that, it’s not just for preachers. I know preachers who don’t have a clue, they don’t know anything about it, but it’s for every member of the body of Christ. You have access to His presence, His power and His goodness, but it has to be pursued. Can you say, amen. God’s not going to force it on you. So once again we’ve learned thus far that the Glory of God is the manifested presence, manifested goodness and manifested power of Almighty God. Now you remember Moses said in Exodus chapter 33, Show me Your Glory, show me Your Glory, and in the very next verse God makes this statement, I will cause all my goodness to pass before you. Moses didn’t ask to

see the goodness of God, he asked to see the Glory of God, but in the mind of God, when you’re asking to see His glory, you’re asking to see His goodness, they’re inseparable and if you read Exodus 33 and 34 it will go on to reveal that it’s also the manifestation of God’s presence, because Moses said; if your presence go not with me, then this is as far as I’m going, because he knew that it would require God’s presence, God’s power and God’s goodness in order for Moses to achieve his assignment. Can you say, amen.

Now, I want to point something out to you tonight that I think is very interesting. Open your Bibles to Ephesians 1. We’re going to have a good Bible study, praise God. Look at, let’s begin in Ephesians 1:15, 15Wherefore I also after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love unto all the saints cease not to give thanks for you making mention of you in my prayers that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of glory. (Ephesians 1:15) Underline that phrase; The Father of Glory and he goes on to write to them, what his prayer was. We won’t take the time to read the prayer, but I want to point out that the Apostle Paul, refers to God as, The Father of Glory, everybody say; “God is the Father of Glory.” In other words, He’s the source of Glory and it also mean that glory emanates from Him. Since we are the children of God, then obviously it is His desire for us to experience His Glory.

Once again when Moses said “Show me Your Glory”, God didn’t deny him. Well, if He was willing to show it to Moses, why wouldn’t He show it to us? Moses wasn’t even born again, we are, praise God. We’re filled with the Holy Spirit; we’re made in His likeness hallelujah. So if God would show, Old Testament people and we have a better covenant and a better promise, than they did, the Bible says; then why wouldn’t He show us His glory? Once again, notice once again that Paul makes it very clear that our Father God is the God of Glory. If you read Exodus 33 right there in verse 18 where Moses said; Show me your Glory, the very next verse, verse 19 begins with this: I will, I will, that reveals that God was extremely happy to do this. Amen.

God was revealing by the words, I Will; that it was His will for him to see His Glory. You know, I learned this from Kenneth Hagin, years ago, way back in the early 1970’s, when I first began to listen to him. He said; The Bible is the will of God and God will never say anything in His Word that’s not His will. Amen. He’ll never say anything in His Word that is not His will. So whatever I find in the Word, then I never question it again; that’s the will of God. Somebody said; you never know what the will of God is, that’s a religious statement and religious people talk that way. You know I don’t know why they change their voice, when they get religious, “you never know what the will of God is”. I guess trying to act real spiritual, but what’s showing is dumb! You can know the will of God, that’s what that book is. It’s the Will of God from cover to cover, from Genesis to Revelation. If it wasn’t Gods will for me to live in health, He shouldn’t have put it in my copy of the book, if it’s not Gods will for me to prosper, then He should never have put it in my copy of the book. If it’s not His will that I am blessed, then He should never have put it in my copy of the book. If it’s not His will that I be highly favored, then He should never have put it in my copy of the book, because once I find that, I’m going for it!

I may be small in stature, but I’ve got a bulldog tenacity, amen. What I see in the Word of God, I’m going for it and I’m not letting the devil stop me or anybody else, amen. So God’s Word is His will and if it wasn’t the will of God for Moses to see His Glory, then He never would have said; “I Will”. There was a man that came to Jesus one time and he said, I know you can, if You will. Notice the man did not doubt Jesus’ ability, he said; I know You can; in other words, he was completely convinced that Jesus had the ability to heal him, but then he made this statement “if You will”. So he says in essence; I know You have the ability to do it, I’m just not sure it’s Your will. Notice how Jesus straightened out this man’s theology with two words; I Will! I will! And my Bible says; He’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and forever, so if it was His will to heal that man, it’s His will for you to be healed. Can you say amen. Hallelujah, thank God for it.

So, once again the Bible is the revelation of the will of God and so when Moses said, “Show me Your Glory”, the very next thing that came out of God’s mouth; I Will and He went on to say, I cause My goodness to pass before you, which is a manifestation of the glory. But my point is, God’s words were, I Will. That simply means that you and I have access to the glory of God. He’s willing to show us His glory; He’s willing to show us His glory in every service. He’s willing to show us His glory every day of our lives in or out of a service, Praise God. God doesn’t just show up in my life in church, thank God He shows up in my life all the time, all the time. Praise God! I’m like Moses, if God doesn’t intend to manifest His presence, His power and His goodness wherever I go, then I’m not going. Amen. I’d just as soon stay at home, if God didn’t intend to show up, what could I do if God doesn’t show up? I wish a lot of preachers would think that, because some of them need to stay home, amen. Moving right along, hallelujah.

So it is the will of God, that you and I experience His glory, anytime you need it, hallelujah, amen, praise God. Notice here that Paul refers to our Father God as the Father of Glory, everybody say it again; the Father of Glory, once again that He is the source of glory and glory emanates from Him. Amen. So in Exodus chapter 40 after God said to Moses, I will show you My glory, and then the bible says this in Exodus 40 versus 34 through 38. Won’t you turn there with me and let’s take a look at it. Exodus 40. Take your time tonight; I’ll give you a good bible study on the glory of God, hallelujah. Have a look at Exodus 40:34, 34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (Exodus 40:34) Now notice the place was full of people, the tabernacle. So, God is not only saying to Moses that I will show you My glory, but he’s also including all the people, hallelujah. Aren’t you glad you’re included, hallelujah, praise God.

The bible says; that as they were gathered in that tabernacle tent, the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (Exodus 40:35) I wonder why He lets us know that twice? Perhaps because the first time you read it, you didn’t believe it. You mean to tell me that God is willing to manifest His glory, in our church; in our church, services? Well He said it twice, hallelujah. He shouldn’t have to say it, but once but sometimes it takes a number of times for people to start believing it. Amen. Look at somebody and say: I believe God wants to show His glory, demonstrate His glory, in our church every time we meet. Go ahead and give Him praise in advance, hallelujah. Glory to God, glory to God.

And then it says: 36And when the cloud was taken up over the children of Israel they went onward in all their journeys but if the cloud was not taken up then they journeyed not until the day that it was taken up. (Exodus 40:36) Now that’s interesting, in other words, I’m not saying; thus sayeth the Lord, but it’s the way I feel. They weren’t church hoppers. They didn’t leave until the glory left. If the cloud didn’t move, they didn’t move, amen. The bible says that the righteous flourish, but He goes on to say, when they’re planted in the house of the Lord. There are a lot of Christians that are not flourishing and it’s not God’s fault, because they don’t get planted. I don’t know who came up with charismatic, it should have been cruise-o-matic, because people just come and go.

Charismatic people are the worst of the lot, amen. I’ve preached in many denominations, I’ve preached for the Baptist, I’ve preached for the Methodist, I’ve preached in a Catholic church, I’ve preached in the assemblies of God. I have had the opportunity to preach in a lot of them, in fact, a lot of pastors tell me, you’re one of those faith preachers that my people would receive. And so I get invited to all kinds of denominations. I preached in one church in West Virginia and still don’t know to this day what they were and it’s weird, but I don’t know what they were. When I walked in the pastor had this robe on and then he’s holding a robe for me to wear. I couldn’t get into his pulpit without having that robe on. He put that robe on me and then when I walked into the auditorium, I noticed all the men are sitting on the one side and all the women were sitting on the other. No men and

women were sitting together, they were totally separated. I thought, look here, this is interesting. Then I noticed this spiral staircase and there was a pulpit up there and he said; you’ll climb those stairs and you’ll preach from up there.

He said; you won’t have any contact with the people. I thought, why have you asked me to come! But he’d heard about me and wanted me to come, but I did not know what kind of denomination they were and I have never asked and I still don’t know to this day and that was 1974! So I climbed up; I called it a birdcage, into the birdcage, laid my bible on the pulpit and looked down at the women on this side, the men on this side and with a smile on my face. That’s the deadest bunch of people, I’ve ever seen in my life. I went to preaching and the Holy Ghost came on me and I come out of that robe and I took it and I slung it around and threw it out into the audience and the power of God started hitting them. They started getting up and jumping and praising God and I jumped out of the birdcage and went to laying hands on everybody. That was the last time they ever asked me to come.

So I preach in all kinds of denominations, but I have found that most of the time, traditional, denominational church people are the most loyal. Charismatics are always looking for the perfect church. Well, I’ve got news for you, when you get there it won’t be perfect anymore. There are no perfect churches, we’re all growing, we’re all learning, Amen. I had Fred Price come to my church years ago and Fred and I have been friends for a long, long time. He came to my church, to do what I used to call, a “Believers Rally”. That was way before Brother Copeland started the Believers conventions and so I’d have Charles Capps, Fred Price and different once. We’d walk into the auditorium one night and this lady was standing there kind of waiting for us, she knew we were coming out of the speaker’s room, she said; oh Brother Price, I’m so glad to be in the service tonight, she said; I used to come to this church. Brother Jerry used to be my pastor, and then I left and went to another church on the other side of town. She said; I heard that they were really into praise and worship and I started going over there, because I really like praise and worship. Then I quit going there and went over here to this church and found out that they teach of fasting, I wanted to learn to fast. Then I left that church, they specialize in prayer.

Brother Price is just standing there, looking at her and when she got through; I guess she thought he was going to put his arms around her and say; bless your darling heart, you sweet woman, you are such a blessing to the body of Christ. He looked at her, without even blinking; what you’re telling me woman; is you’re no good for any of them. That is not what she wanted to hear and she left, she didn’t stay! She wasn’t any good to any of them, amen. Why don’t Christians stay planted? Why do we get so fidgety and always want something new and think our church can’t provide it. Hallelujah. I really believe personally that this is why most of the body of Christ does not flourish. They may experience some blessings from time to time, they might experience some breakthroughs, from time to time, but they don’t flourish because the bible clearly says in Psalms 92 that the righteous flourish and those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall continue to flourish.

I think the problem is a lot of people, they move too quickly and who’s behind that? Could it be that the devil saw that you were almost at the place, where you were about to have some major breakthroughs in flourishing and he got to pressing on you, pressing on you, you need to go to another church now. He doesn’t want you to flourish, Amen. I’m preaching better than you’re responding! Amen. I want the body of Christ to flourish; I want the people to flourish. As I said I founded the church, I represent the apostolic authority in our church, but I’m seldom there, because I travel all the time. I tell them jokingly that I’m the worst attending member, but I have a legitimate excuse because I’m called to the world, you know and a lot of times like when I get off from this trip, I’ll get home on Saturday of next week and I’ll be in the pulpit Sunday morning, because it’ll be another few months before I can get back in the pulpit in our own church.

So a lot of times when I walk up to the podium, I look out there and I think who are these people? Where did all that other bunch go? And boy when you see a familiar face I break out in a smile Praise God, there’s somebody still here. And of course we’ve got a lot of people that had been planted and they’ve been there from the beginning and they’re not going anywhere, but a lot of times I’ll look over that crowd and at Pastor and say “where did all them folks come from, I didn’t know the majority of those people out there this morning” but we’re always full. Twenty five will leave and forty five will take their seats. Praise God. We’re always full! Amen. Sometimes I think we’re just a training station, a train depot. People come and take a ride then get off and leave.

My pastor Brother Nichols, he’d been pastoring sixty years, he went on, to be with the Lord at 92. He retired from pastoring at ninety years old and became an evangelist and started traveling. He was my pastor from 1970, until the day he went to be with the Lord, I did his homecoming. He was one of the most precious men in my life and Brother Nichols used to tell me, he said; now Brother Jerry, I had to learn this a long time ago, he said; they’re not all going to stay with you, some of them will be there for a season and what I learned to do, is to love them, while you have them. Get the word in them as long as you have them. Amen. But wouldn’t it be a whole lot better, to look out across an audience and think, man these people are planted, hallelujah. And the Bible says that those that are planted, in the house of the Lord they’re going to flourish. So don’t be so quick to move, don’t be so quick to, you know go to the latest thing that is happening. Don’t follow fads, follow the Word, hallelujah. I’m still preaching better than you’re responding. Amen.

Let me get back to my subject. Notice here that when the cloud moved that’s when they moved. If the cloud didn’t move, you couldn’t shake them loose with a stick. They stayed right there. Amen. Why? Because they wanted to be, in the presence of God, they want to experience the power of God, they want to experience the goodness of God, hallelujah. If you stay planted and we all have that attitude, dear Lord what do you suppose what happened in our church services. Glory to God. We would no longer have church services; we would have encounters with God every time we came together. Can you say, amen. Praise God. You would have to lock the doors, to keep people from spending the night in here. Amen, praise God. Hallelujah.

Now, let’s look at Leviticus chapter 9. now that was a manifestation, just as God said to Moses; I will, then God’s proving it right here, that He continue to manifest His presence in their behalf. Look at Leviticus chapter 9, and it says in verse 6, 6And Moses said, “This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do, and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.” (Leviticus 9:6) Notice here, we are from Exodus all the way up to Leviticus, and what’s happening? The glory of the Lord, still being revealed, the glory of the Lord, is still in manifestation. The presence of God is still coming on the scene. The power of God is coming on the scene. The goodness of God is coming on the scene. Can you say, amen.

And here he said, if you just simply do what God is telling you, then the glory will keep appearing to you, hallelujah. Praise God, amen. Once again, He was talking about the manifested presence of God and He is honouring Moses request. Go to Numbers 14:21, 21 but as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD. (Numbers 14:21) Hallelujah. What a great promise we have. He made that promise way back, in Moses’s day and is good for us today. God promises that as long; Moses is speaking in His behalf, as long as I live, the glory of the Lord will fill the earth, hallelujah. So that means it is not over, we didn’t miss out, because we didn’t live in Moses day, we didn’t miss out because we didn’t live in Joshua’s day, we didn’t miss out because we didn’t live in Paul’s day.

Praise God, the whole earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God, hallelujah, amen and amen. I’m already preached myself happy, glory to God. I was happy before I got here, but I’m happier. So that’s God’s promise that this would not

end with Moses or any of the Old Testament Saints. It wouldn’t end with Paul and Peter and James. Praise God, the whole earth shall be filled with the glory. Amen.

Gloria Copeland used to say, the sun will shine on the just and the unjust. All you got to do is just get out in it. Amen. The glory, the glory! I said the glory! Hallelujah. All you got to do is get in it. Hallelujah. And we get in it by hunkering for it. Amen. Believing that we’ll see it. Praise God. Pursuing it. God will honour our request. Can you say Amen? Now I’ll just read these to you, you make note of if you want. Psalm 19:1, 1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handiwork. (Psalm 19:1) All of heaven is declaring the glory of God. Hallelujah. Sounds like to me, God has intentions for this to be perpetuated; never-ending, glory to God. And then it says in Psalm 96:3, 3 Declare His glory among the heathen, His wonders among all people, (Psalm 96:3) praise God. That would include, South Africa that would include, Kenya that would include, Russia that would include all over the world that we are to declare his wonders to all people, praise God. God’s got a broad vision, amen.

Psalm 104:31, We are still talking about, the Father of glory. 31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever; the LORD shall rejoice in His works. (Psalm 104:31) Does that sound like that maybe we missed out? We should have been born in another generation? No, the glory of the Lord shall endure forever. Hallelujah. You and I are going to experience it in our generation and I firmly believe, far greater than any other generation, praise God. The glory of the latter house will be greater than the glory of the former house. God has reserved the best for last. Hallelujah. Come on; shout on to God with the voice of triumph. Amen, amen. Psalm 145:10, 10 All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. (Psalm 145:10) Well he said the Saints of blessing. Any Saints in the place? Let’s bless the Lord for a moment. Hallelujah.

Psalm 145:11, 11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; (Psalm 145:11) what are Saints supposed to be doing in the earth? Talking about the glory; talking about the power; talking about the presence; talking about the goodness of Almighty God, hallelujah. Does that describe your life? It certainly does mine. Everywhere I go, I’m talking about the presence of God, the power of God and the goodness of God. I would do it if I wasn’t even a preacher, I would do it, because I was a believer. Hallelujah. Amen. Psalm 145:12, 12To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts and the glorious Majesty of His Kingdom, (Psalm 145:12) Hallelujah. That is our assignment, to make known that our God is glorious ,that glory emanates from Him, He is the source of glory and to tell the people that we come in contact with, and we have influence with, about His mighty act, so that they might want to know our God, Hallelujah. Can you say amen? Hallelujah.

Man and I say this as humbly as I can; I’m not a prideful person, if you know me. Well, I’m not a prideful person and I don’t say this with pride; people want to be me. Why, because they see God’s presence, God’s power, and God’s goodness. I even have sinners, they want to be like me; they don’t recognize it as the presence, the power and the goodness of God, but they do notice this. Stuff’s happen to you all the time, who are you? Why is all this happening to you? And so maybe you say; man, I wish I was you. When is the last time, somebody wanted to be like you? They should. Hello, did you go home or are you still here? Hallelujah. They should see the presence and the power and the goodness of God functioning, manifesting in your life to the point that they desire to be you, praise God, hallelujah, amen.

This is our assignment. We are to speak of His glory, we are to speak of His power, and we are to speak of His goodness. Hallelujah. Can you say, amen., It’s never been God’s intention to no longer show His glory; never been His intention, as we’ve very clearly seen from the Word so far. Haggai 2:9, 9 ‘The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former,’ saith the LORD of hosts. (Haggai 2:9) So once again, we haven’t been left out. Look at your neighbour and say; I haven’t been left out. My generation will see the glory of

God. My generation will see the glory of God. Hallelujah. Isn’t that something to give God a shout about, hallelujah. Praise God.

God intends to show us His glory, just as we have seen examples, here in the Word. He wants to show it to us, even at a greater level, than any of these people had ever seen it before, amen. So, when is it going to happen? When the Church starts hunkering for it, when the Church starts praying it in, when the Church believes what He says. We are getting closer, praise God. We’re getting closer, hallelujah. Well what I’ve seen here this week, praise God, God don’t need the whole or rest of the world; you know body of Christ all over the world, I think you guys could pray it in. Hallelujah, glory to God. But it certainly would accelerate, if you got the whole body of Christ hungry, amen and desiring it, and craving it, amen.

Once again, the Bible refers to God, as the God of glory. Say it with me again; the God of glory. It doesn’t end there, James 2:1 makes this statement; 2 …Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. (James 2:1) You are going to find out that Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Bible references all three of them, the Godhead, as possessors of the glory, the entire Godhead, amen. Glory to God, listen to this, He is the Lord of glory. Everybody say; the Lord of glory, we just saw in the Bible, I took you into some references where God is the God of glory, but now we are going to talk about the Lord of glory; Jesus our Saviour. So the Bible states in the book of Hebrews chapter 1. Go there with me, Hebrews chapter 1. Are you getting as excited as I am? Hebrews chapter 1, you are familiar with this I’m sure, but I want you to see it again. Looking at Hebrews 1:1, 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in times past unto the fathers by the prophets. (Hebrews 1:1) Praise God, glory to God.

You ever been in a meeting, where the glory of God came in and you couldn’t see people’s faces anymore? I have, I’m just wondered if it’s about to happen. I can hardly see the words in my Bible and my eyes are good, 20/20 that’s rare, I’m 71 years old and I got 20/20 vision. Praise God. My eyes haven’t grown dim. He is not only Hebrews 1:2-3, 2 hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed Heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds, but notice this; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, (Hebrews 1:2-3) and notice Jesus is referred to as the express image of God, that means He is God’s identical, I almost said twin, not twin, but God’s identical. Jesus is if you’ve seen the Son you’ve seen the Father. If you’ve seen the Father you’ve seen the Son. He is the express image of God. Hallelujah.

So if God is the Father of glory and Jesus is the express image of the Father, then why would it surprise us that the Bible would refer to Him as the Lord of glory? As Jesus is Lord. Can you say, amen. He is the Lord of glory. That means he is just as capable of manifesting the presence, the power, and the goodness of God as His Father is. And he proved it in His earthly ministry. Acts 10:38, 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. (Acts 10:38) In that one verse you see Jesus manifesting God’s presence, God’s power, and God’s goodness, hallelujah; sums it up all in one verse. Praise God.

I got some good news for you in addition to that; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, praise God, hallelujah. He is still quite capable of manifesting the presence, the power, and the goodness of Almighty God. Can you say, amen. The Message translation for Hebrews 1:3 says; 3This Son perfectly mirrors God, and is stamped with God’s nature. (Hebrews 1:3) The Son perfectly mirrors God, the express image. When you look in the mirror, in your bathroom or your bedroom, you have an image, and that image is you. You don’t stand in front of that mirror and see Jerry Savelle, you see you. But when you see Jesus, the reflection is God. Hallelujah. Praise God. Isn’t that amazing! Hallelujah.

God wants it to be, here is what the Bible says from the Apostle Paul, we are conformed to the very image of God’s dear Son. So God does want it to get to the place, spiritually speaking, that when you look in the mirror, you see the Son. You mirror, His nature. Hallelujah, praise God. Did you ever get the old TV series, over here called, Happy Days? Do you ever get it? Well, then I won’t use it as an illustration. Yes I will. Anyway, Happy Days was a popular TV series, came on every week, and it starred a guy by the name of Ron Howard. It was about, particularly the 50’s and early 60’s in America. It is kind of going back to that era and it came out in the 70’s and early 80’s were very popular. There is one guy, in here, he is the coolest guy in town and his name is Fonzie. The Fonz, anybody remember now? And the Fonz, he rode a motorcycle, he wore a black leather jacket, and he is the coolest guy in town. Everybody wants to be around Fonz.

They meet at this diner, this place, where they buy hamburgers and shakes and most of the series takes place in that diner and Fonz when he goes to the men’s restroom, he calls that his office. It’s always showing the Fonz going into the men’s restroom and all he does, he pulls out this long comb and he has his hair all slicked back, and he pulls out that comb and he starts to, he starts to comb it. But then it looks perfect, he goes, yeah, and he puts his comb back, goes on about his business. I’ve never seen him comb his hair one time, because as always, yeah it’s perfect. You know what I got to do? I would look in the mirror, and I’d pull a Fonz; yeah. I don’t see Jerry in that mirror anymore, I see the Son in Jerry hallelujah. I’m the exact image of the Son, hallelujah. You are the exact image of the Son as He was, so are we today praise God. Hallelujah. And you going around saying I wish there was something I could do. You can. You got the power.

I was in Omaha, Nebraska in 1970. One of the first meetings I went on, with Brother Copeland. He preached three services a day and in those days, I wasn’t preaching in any of his meetings, but I was a soul winner. As soon as that service was over, I would hit the streets. Wherever we went, I would hit the streets and win people, one on one, get them saved, bring them back into the meeting. I’m out in the streets after the ten o’clock morning service; I didn’t go to lunch anywhere, I would spent my lunch time, out in the streets, witnessing and then I look at my watch and then I’d get back in time for the two o’clock service.

I was out on the streets, right downtown Omaha, Nebraska and I was headed back to the hotel where we were having the meeting. All of a sudden, I heard brakes squealing on automobiles, I mean coming to a sudden stop, and people getting out of their cars, and a crowd gathered. I don’t know what happened; I’m just walking toward the hotel. I decided before I got to the hotel, that I walk over and see what was going on. I kind of pushed my way through the crowd, and there was a man lying in the street. He was having a hard seizure; I mean he was shaking violently in the street. He had been walking and he was trying to cross that intersection and that seizure hit him and he fell in the street. By the time, I got there, he is shaking violently, uncontrollably and everybody is out of their cars watching it.

I looked around and I saw people, who had been in those sessions, three services a day, Brother Copeland teaching on faith, teaching on the authority of the believer. I saw believers standing around, with the rest of the crowd, and some of them saying; I wish there was something we could do; I wish there was something we could do. I felt a Holy Ghost indignation that believers would be standing around saying; I wish there’s something we can do. The Lord said; there is something you can do, cast the devil out of him. I just pushed my way through the crowd and I walked up to that man, I laid my hands on him and boy, he’s shaking violently, I laid my hands on his chest and I started praying; casting out devils. Man, people started getting in their cars and driving off. Dear Lord, they gave me plenty of room to operate and I ministered him for about 20 minutes.

In a little while he just shook one more time, opens his eyes and looked up at me and said; what did you do? I said; I cast the devil out of you. He said; who are you? I said; I’m a believer. He said; well, where did you come from? I said; well, apparently God sent me and I said; do you know Jesus, is Lord? He is still on his back; I wouldn’t let him get up. I said; do you know Jesus, is Lord of your life? He said; no. I said; well, let’s take care of that right now and I lead him in the sinner’s prayer, and he prayed, receive Christ.

Somebody had called, an ambulance in the meantime, and this ambulance was blowing its, you know, make it all its noise, and working its way up there. The ambulance attendant got out and he said; where’s the man who; by this time, I got the man standing up and he’s got a smile on his face and we are rejoicing over the goodness of God and what had just happened to him. The attendant said; where is the man who fell? Where is the man who had a heart seizure? I said; right here. He said; no not him, where is that man that they called us about and he is laying on the street and heart seizure? I said; this is him, they wouldn’t believe me. I said; this is him, we don’t need you now.

The man that this happened to, he couldn’t take his eyes off me, and all he said was; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. I said; yes sir, that is Who did it. He said; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Finally the attendant said; well we are going to take him in for observation, so they grabbed him and they put him up on a gurney, a stretcher and put him up in the ambulance. As they were shutting the door, I could hear him, he couldn’t take his eyes off me, he kept saying; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. When they shut the door and they started driving off, I saw the man get off the gurney and walk up to the back of the ambulance, where there was a glass, and he pushed his face up against it and I couldn’t hear, but I could read his lips; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, amen.

Don’t tell me; don’t tell me, there is nothing we can do, hallelujah. There is something we can do, amen. The Lord of glory lives on the inside of you, praise God. He is capable of manifesting God’s power, God’s presence, and God’s goodness through you, hallelujah. Can you say, amen. The Bible say; lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover, cast out devils in My name. Well, He would never tell us to do that, if we did not have the power and the authority to do it, through Him. Can you say, amen.

Now, I don’t go around looking for devils, but they seem to find me, amen. Joe and I, dear Lord we have cast out more devils, in the last forty-nine years. We were in Kenya, one time, and the Word; I’m doing an open-air crusade, we got several thousand people, out in the blazing sun. I’m preaching along there and all of a sudden, I see this whole group start spreading out, and I don’t know what is going on back there. But as they spread out; I see there is a man, chained to a tree, chained to a tree and he is carrying on like a wild animal. Somebody brought him there, he is demon-possessed. Somebody had brought him there, chained him up to that tree, so he couldn’t get loose. Then when they spread out, I saw what was going on. So, I just got off the platform and walked back there, to him. Joe and I walked back there to him. Oh he was howling, he was making all kind of crazy noises; the devil in him, you know, you can’t cast me out. Oh, that is like, speaking to a bulldog. You can’t cast me out; I’ve been here too long. Boy, we just started praying in the spirit, just praying in the Holy Ghost, getting God’s direction.

I learned from Oral Roberts, don’t ever lay your hands on them, till you are ready to release your faith. So I’m praying in the spirit, Bible says; praying in the spirit building up your most holy faith. So I’m praying in the Holy Ghost and boy, I could feel it, I could feel it rising up in me and then I laid my hands on him; cast the devil out of him, praise God. He got totally free, now people still wouldn’t come around him, but he was totally free, I mean, you could see it on his countenance Not only that, but he got saved; not only that, he got filled with the Holy Ghost; not only that, he became a cook at our church in Kakamega, Kenya.

Every time, we would go over there, we do pastors seminars and we would bring Pastors in from all over Kenya. We’d have to feed them, so we’d buy cattle and this man, who had been demon-possessed; this man became the cook. While we’re having services, minister’s conference, he is out there slaughtering the cattle and cooking it, so all the preachers could have something to eat after the meetings, praise God. He became a great asset to the church. Don’t tell me, there is nothing we can do. Hallelujah. You got the Lord of glory on the inside of you. Say thank you Lord. Hallelujah. Come on praise God. We have the Lord of glory on the inside of us.

They came and join us one time and some people in the meeting they said; we’ve got a son that is demon-possessed, would you come and pray for him? So we got in this vehicle and drove as far as we could, because their village was in the bush. Their little hut was in the bush and we had to walk, the rest of the way. As we were coming up there, I saw this young man, chained to a tree, out in front of that mud hut. Oh, he was growling, howling, hissing, he was making a show. It is like reading a New Testament and so, when Joe and I walked up there, the first thing that demon said; I know who you are, you come to cast me out, you can’t and I’ve been in here too long. I just stood there, just prayed, and I said Joe let’s pray in the spirit.

We prayed in the Holy Ghost and that demon got so stirred up and finally that spirit in that boy said this; I can quote, the whole first chapter the Book of Luke, can you? And he started quoting it, word for word, didn’t miss a word; the entire first chapter of the Book of Luke. Can you do that? I didn’t say a word, just prayed in the spirit. Then it was like an unction came; I knew, that I knew, that I knew, it’s time and we laid our hands on that boy, cast the devil out of him. He had several devils. Cast them devils out of him and it was obvious, when he was free, I mean his countenance changed everything. I reached over, took the chain off of him, called for his mom and dad and I said feed the boy, take him in the hut and feed him. The whole family has been scared of him and they took him in there and fed him. And then of course we went back and finished our crusade, over the next few days.

Years later, I get a letter from this boy and a picture, he’s graduated from the University of Nairobi, praise God, totally free, a brand-new man, praise God. Don’t tell me, there is nothing we can do, I said; don’t tell me, there is nothing we can do. We got the Lord of glory; we’ve got the Lord of glory. Now we weren’t looking for that demon, out there by that tree and that crusade, he found me. I weren’t looking for the demon out there and that boy in the bush, they found me, amen. Do not, become a demon chaser, just because you’ve got authority and then you’ve got the Lord of glory residing in you, they’ll find you, amen. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Lift your hands and let’s bless the Lord, one more time, hallelujah. Joe and I, could give you stories like that, all night long, praise God, hallelujah.

So, the Son perfectly mirrors the Father; He is stamped with God’s nature, so are we. Once again, Peter describing Jesus, how God anointed, Jesus of Nazareth, with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good, healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him. Jesus embodied all that God was and all that God is. Can you say, amen. He came manifesting, the glory of God, by demonstrating God’s presence, God’s power, and God’s goodness. And that’s why James, later referred to him as the Lord of glory. David saw Jesus, a thousand years, before He ever came into the earth and he talks about it in the Psalms. He doesn’t use the name Jesus, but he refers to Him, as the King of glory. He is not only the Lord of glory, but He is the King of glory. Psalms 24:9-10, 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates! Even lift them up, ye everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. (Psalms 24:9-10)

David refers to Him as the King of glory. He possesses the most highly exalted name in the universe. The Apostle Paul, tells us in Philippians 2:9-10, 9Therefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of

Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven and things on earth and things under the earth, (Philippians 2:9-10) and decree that Jesus is Lord, hallelujah, He is Lord, amen. I like what I heard somebody say one time; Jesus has been exalted and the devil has been reduced to zero. Hallelujah, amen. The Bible declares that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So, if He was Lord of glory then, King of glory then, then nothing has changed. Amen.

Now, if you keep reading a little further in the Word of God. So far, we’ve discovered the Father, is the Father of glory, the Son is the King of glory; He is the Lord of glory. Let’s look at what John 16:5-7 says, Jesus speaking; 5 But now I go My way to Him that sent Me, He is going back to the Father. and none of you asketh Me, ‘Whither goest Thou?’ 6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you. (John 16:5-7) Who is He referring to? The Comforter, well you know that is the Holy Spirit. Amen.

So obviously, He is talking about sending the Holy Spirit and when you talk about the Holy Spirit, there is no way to talk about Him, without talking about power, amen, power. Acts 1:8, 8 But ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) Notice the Holy Spirit, is associated with power. Can you say, amen Acts 1:8, but notice how Peter, refers to Him later in one of his epistles, listen to this, you can look it up later. 1 Peter 4:14, The Spirit of glory. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye, for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you. On their part evil is spoken of Him, but on your part He is glorified. (1 Peter 4:14) Hallelujah.

So notice, we’ve got the Father, He’s the Father of glory, we have the Son, who is the Lord of glory, the King of glory and then we got the Holy Ghost, who is referred to as, the Spirit of glory. Hallelujah, glory to God. You see the glory in the Godhead; Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Does that not tell you something? That God intends for you to get a hold of His glory, one way or the other, through the Father, through the Son and through the Holy Ghost. Come on; give Him a shout of praise, hallelujah. Glory to God. Now here is the best part, 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye, for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you. On their part evil is spoken of Him, but on your part He is glorified. (1 Peter 4:14) Where he calls Him the Spirit of glory and then he goes on to say, resteth upon you, the Spirit of glory resteth upon you. Hallelujah.

Just like this coat is resting on me, the Spirit of glory is resting on me. In a little while, I will take this coat and hang it up, take it off, hang it up, but the Spirit of glory never comes off me. It never comes off you. Hallelujah, glory to God, amen. It resteth upon you. The word resteth here, means to abide, to remain, and to be supported by. So when the Bible talks about, from the writings of Peter, the Spirit of glory and of God; referring to the Holy Spirit is resting on you, then he is saying; He is abiding on you and with you, He remains with you and upon you, and you are supported by Him. Hallelujah. Sounds like to me that part of the Holy Spirit’s job is, to reveal God’s glory, amen, hallelujah. I wrote in my notes today, after I wrote all these notes, God’s got me covered. God’s got me covered, God’s got you covered. Can you say, amen?

He’s made a way, where you and I can experience the glory 24/7. So somebody say, show me the glory. Say it again; show me the glory. I believe the reason the Lord’s told me to tell that or say that, everywhere I preach and get the body of Christ talking about it is, because He wants us to become, more aware and more conscious that it’s available to us. Hallelujah. I don’t go to bed, without the last thing out of my mouth, show me the glory Lord. First thing I’d say when I wake up, show me the glory Lord. Throughout the day,

show me the glory Lord. Oh, don’t miss tomorrow night; oh, I already know what we’re going on; oh Jesus. Hallelujah.

The Holy Spirit is the carrier of God’s presence, God’s power, and God’s goodness. He is the carrier. Amen. You know some people are carriers of diseases, and if you come in contact with them it’s highly probable, if you touch them or somehow another, you know perhaps their saliva gets on you, or something if they’re a carrier of a disease, that is highly probable and possible that you could be infected by it. Amen. Well the Holy Spirit is a carrier, He is infected with God’s presence, God’s power and God’s goodness, and if you hang around Him it is going to get on you. You are going to be infected by it, praise God.

I don’t know about you, but my prayer is, bring it on, hallelujah, bring it on, glory to God, amen. So do you fully understand, what the Bible is telling us? We have the Father of glory, we have the Lord of glory and we have the Spirit of glory, which means that we have access, to the manifested presence, manifested power, and manifested goodness of God, every day of our lives. Hallelujah. So, I ask the question in my notes. How can we be defeated? How could we possibly be defeated if this is a revelation to us? The Bible says; the only way that you can defeat one of God’s people, is lack of knowledge. My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. If you have knowledge, if you have revelation, you can’t be defeated, unless you just put it aside and quit being a doer of the Word. And if you do that the Bible says you’ve deceived yourself. Amen.

So how can we be defeated with what we’ve just learned? Hallelujah. Amen. Isaiah 54:17,

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of Me,” saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17) The Amplified says, 17 But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17 AMP) Triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. Triumph over opposition is our heritage. Why wouldn’t it be? If we have the Father of glory, the Lord of glory, the King of glory, the spirit of glory, residing on the inside of us; absolutely no excuse for believers, to live defeated lives.

Psalm 3:8, 8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD. Thy blessing is upon Thy people. Selah. (Psalm 3:8) We are extremely blessed of God. Not only that, we are highly favoured by God. The blessing is the empowerment to prosper, to succeed, to rise above and to excel and the Bible says it’s on us. You came in here with it; you’re going to walk out of here with it. You’ve got something on and in your life that the world don’t know anything about. Hallelujah. So, you can go to bed tonight with peace, you can go to bed tonight, without fear, because you have this empowerment on you and the Spirit of glory resides in you, amen, supports you, Hallelujah. I say it again, God’s got us covered.

Psalm 35:27, Let them shout for joy and be glad that favor my righteous cause yay let them say continually let the Lord be magnified which had pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (Psalm 35:27) Amen. God gets pleasure out of you and I, prospering. Hallelujah. And the Bible says; we ought to be shouting for joy, because of it. Come on, shout for joy! Hallelujah. Psalm 37:25, I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread. (Psalm 37:25)

Once again, you know before I got saved, I used to love playing cards, gambling cards you know. Don’t look at me so holy, you weren’t so righteous either, but I love playing cards, when I was in college and when I was in the service and we break out the card game, every time we were not in class or not on duty. I spent a lot of time at Fort Polk, Louisiana

and in South Louisiana. I learned the card game from the Cajuns down there, called booray. And booray, you can lose everything you own, at one hand, or you can win everything, everybody else’s got, in one hand. So, I became a really good booray player. It’s a very mental game, you got to keep in mind what everybody’s holding, you know and I love to play booray. When I was in the service, on active duty, I had to sell my hot rod, my race car, so Carolyn would have money to live on, while I was gone and I sunk every time, I had that race car and I had to sell it. So, Carolyn was expecting our first child so I gave her the money from my race car.

And I called, one time, called her back home and I said; “how you doing sweetheart?” she said; “fine.” She said; “I did something last night that I’ve never done before.” I said; “What?” She said; “You know, all that money you gave me that you got from your race car?” I said; “yeah” She said; “I gave it to a preacher last night.” I said; “you what?” I wouldn’t serve the Lord back then. I said; “you what?” She said; “I gave it to a preacher.” I said; “Carolyn, what’s wrong with you? Have you lost your mind? Why do you give it to a preacher?” “Well, I felt like the Lord wanted me to.” “I thought, the Lord didn’t want you to do that. If I’d have known, you is going to give the money away, I wouldn’t have never sold my car. I want to come home to it.” Made me so mad, I slammed that phone down, gave my race car money to a preacher. So, I went, found a bunch of guys that I could play booray with. I won all my money back and I didn’t send her dime.

But my point was we used to have a phrase stack the deck. You’ve heard that stack the deck? God has stacked the deck. He’s got the Spirit of Glory on us, the blessing of God is on us, the favor of God is on us. How can we lose? He stacked the deck. Amen. Somebody shout He is showing me His Glory!

Psalm 92:12, and I quoted right at the beginning verse 12 through 14 12The righteous shall flourish. And then in verse 14 it says 14and they shall bring forth fruit in old age they shall be fat – that word fat means prosperous not gaining weight and flourishing. (Psalm 92:12, 14) They shall be prosperous and flourishing even in old age. That’s why I don’t think about retiring. I only think about “re-firing”. In fact I’ve always enjoyed getting older I turned seventy-one in December on the 24th of December and I’m already looking forward to eighty. My wife said “you’re a nut.” I said “no I’m not the Bible says, even in old age I’ll flourishing, my best days are not behind me my best days are ahead of me!” Hallelujah! I’m flourishing more at 71 that I was flourishing at forty. Hallelujah, I can’t hardly wait to get up every day and see what God has been cooking up. Hallelujah. Amen.

So notice, the righteous shall flourish they shall bring forth fruit in old age. Hallelujah. That means, they’ll thrive and they’ll prosper, even when they get older. Most old people, they don’t think that way. Most people, when they get older, they start looking for ways to cut back, they get stingy. My grandmother, bless her heart, she’s a sweet lady, but she didn’t know these things. When she would come to see us, come to visit us; she lived in Mississippi and we lived in Fort Worth Texas, Carolyn and I, my dad would bring her to see us, because I didn’t get to see my grandmother, quite as often as I used to. When my grandmother, walk in the house, she’d have her purse under her arm, just a tight dog, dear God, you’d had to have a crowbar to pry loose. And she take one hand and say “hi son, hi son.” “Hi grandma, can I take it?” “No, no, no” I think she slept with it. And understand, she came through the depression in 1929 and a lot of people that went through the depression, never got depression out of them. They still thought that way and that’s the way my grandmother thought. She did not have a clue that God promised that she could flourish at old age.

I’m never going to be that way. I’ll never be that way, because I got revelation into the Word of God. My dad had an aunt. She was my great aunt, but I’d never met her and she lived down in Florida. She was a Seventh day Adventist school teacher. My dad said; because she’d never married, he called her, an old maid school teacher. So, my dad was sending her my books and all kind of resources and she’d listened to them, read them and

she called my dad. She said; when will I meet, my dad’s name with Jerry, well she said; when will I meet, Jerry Junior? And dad would say; He travels all over the world said; it’s kind of hard to get him to settle down at home, but I’m hoping that he would come down there, where you can meet him. And she said; well you know, I’m getting up in age, I’m in my nineties now. She said; I’d really like to meet him, before I go home and be with the Lord. I have something want to tell him.

So my dad would tell me that, so next time, I’m headed to Florida, to do meetings let’s go early and we’d go by and see her. She lived in Fort Lauderdale, we went down there, I was doing some meetings in Miami and we went down there. First time I’d ever met her. Now she’s up in her nineties and we greeted and we hug and had a wonderful time, and then she said; “you know, I’ve studied the family tree, I’ve traced Savelle’s back as far, as there is any record of them. She said; I just wanted to tell you this, before I went home to be with the Lord. She said; there’s never been a Savelle, who lives like you. I said; what do you mean? She said; not in our history, not in our family tree, I’ve traced them back son, and they originally came from Ireland. They started out, calling him Savol’s and then it became Savel and then one of the great uncle’s added a “le” on, it made Savelle. I always thought I was French, they said; no you come from Ireland the ancestors came from Ireland. She said; you’re the only Savelle, Savel, Savol that’s ever been on this planet that lives the kind of life, you live. I said; wow! I said; why do you suppose that’s so? She said; I think she’s got my face, you know a little tiny woman. She got up my face and she said; because they didn’t know, what you know, son! Hallelujah.

I’m so glad she told me that, and shortly after that she went to be with Lord. I think she just wait around to be able to tell me that, you know that there’s never been a Savelle, who lives like me. Well, that could be your story, no matter what kind of background your parents have, grandparents have, I don’t care if they lived in mud huts and cooked on a fire outside. You can break the mold. If you get the revelation, praise God! Amen. Of who you are in Christ and what’s on your life. Hallelujah. Can you say, amen. Praise God. I think we got to give the Lord one more, good shout. Hallelujah.

All right, I’m going to wrap it up with this verse, as far as the teaching part Ephesians 3:20 makes this statement you know it 20Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. (Ephesians 3:20) He can do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond the amplified says, our infinite desires, our infinite dreams. If we could dream it, He can do it bigger than that, if we can think it, He can do it bigger than that, according to the Power that worketh, within us. Did you know there’s a Power that’s working within you? Well obviously, it’s the Power of the Holy Spirit, but if you read that whole context in Ephesians 3, it becomes obvious that, that Power he’s referring to, is your understanding of the Father’s love for you. Your ability to conceive and to believe that He can and He will for you, because you’re the object of his affection; do exceeding abundant above all you can ask or think. Amen.

That means, it’s time to stop, thinking small. We have no limits. We have no limits. Glory to God! You got time for one more story, shake head, because I want to tell it. Brother Oral Roberts called me, one day and said; I hear you’re going to Kenya. I said; yes sir, I am. He said; when are you leaving? I said; in just a few days. He said; can I go with you? I said; well, Brother Roberts, I wish I’d have known you were interested in going, you know, far enough in advance, because I really don’t, I really won’t have any time, to be with you. As soon as I get off that plane, I’ve got a meeting set up with the president, of the nation back then it was, Daniel Maury. I said; I’ve got a meeting, with the president of the nation. I’m going to ask him for land, to build a medical facility on that my ministry, is going to build.

Then as soon as I get out of that meeting, I’ve chartered an airplane and we’re going to fly to Caca Maca and we’ve got an open-air crusade, starts that night and then the next morning, I’m going to gather up my Pastors and have a Pastor seminar. Then after the Pastors seminar, we’re going to go break ground, for some new churches, then after that,

we’re going to go dedicate, some churches that we’ve already finished. Then after that, I’ll come back and pray and get ready for that next night and that open air crusade. I said; so, I really wouldn’t have any time, to be with you. Then he said this; well, would you at least pray and ask the Lord, if it’d be all right, if I went? I said; well, who am I to tell Oral Roberts, no! I said; if you really want to go, come on. I said; fly to Dallas and we’ll go down to DFW and we’re going to fly from DFW to JFK, JFK to London, London the Nairobi.” and I said I’ll go ahead and have my secretary get your flight together, get your seats.

And so, he and Evelyn came the next day, spent the night with us and then Carolyn and Evelyn took us out to the airport. So, we’re flying over there and I’m talking about this medical facility. I asked him, if he’d be interested in staffing it with doctors and nurses that came out of what Roberts University. He said; well, that’s one of the reasons, why I wanted to come. He said; not only that, but I’ve been blessed, our ministry has been blessed, with all kind of medical equipment and I’ve been waiting for the place that I can sow it and put it into. He said; I’ll staff it with doctors and nurses from the University and I’ll give you the equipment to start with. I said; well, praise God, this is a divine appointment.

So, we land in Nairobi, and my directors there picked us up, nobody knew that Oral Roberts was coming with me. I didn’t have time to communicate with anybody. So, he said; well Brother Jerry, the vice president contacted us and said; the president had to go away for an emergency meeting, but the vice president will be there and he’s going to speak, in his behalf and he’s got some cabinet members that will be there. We went to this place, where they set up this meeting. Now, the vice president and his cabinet were at a table, on one end and Brother Roberts, myself and my director, we were on a table at the other end, facing each other. So the vice president indicated that it was okay for me to go ahead and make my presentation.

I already had architectural drawings made of the; we were starting on phase one, which was an outpatient clinic. I had my drawings and I showed him, what I wanted to do and I told him that when we finished this, when we complete this, we’re going to dedicate it to the nation and it will provide a place for internship. We’ll provide jobs for people, while we’re building it, we’ll provide education and training and we’re going to give it back to the nation. I said; but I’m asking you as a government to give me the land to build it on, and I’ll build it. I’ll send a team over here to build it. Brother Roberts is going to staff it and he’s going to furnish it, with equipment and I told him how much acreage we would need.

All the time, I’m talking to the vice president; this is what Brother Roberts is doing. He is writing on a napkin, but what do you call it? Serviettes, he is writing on a serviette, while I’m talking and he wads it up and throws it on the floor and grabs another one and writes on it. Now I’m seeing this out of the corner of my eye wads it up and throws it on the floor. I’m thinking this a rude. Grabs another one, writes on it and throws it on the floor. He does that about four times and I’m thinking; what is he doing, I haven’t turned and asked him yet, because I’m in another nation, I’m a guest the vice president’s talking to me. I’m thinking, if you don’t quit, we don’t wind up looking at a hole with bars, settle down. I have not said a word to Oral Roberts. In a little while, I guess he finally got written on that serviette, what he wanted to write and he hits me hard, like this and said; read this! I said; Brother Roberts, the vice president’s talking, can this wait? Read it! I said; Brother Roberts, can I wait until after we have this meeting? He said; No! It won’t wait, read it, now!

I couldn’t make out what he said, I said; I’ll read it afterwards. Read it, now! I said; excuse me, sir. I’m trying to be just as polite, somebody in this room needs to be polite, to the vice president. I don’t want to spend the night in a cell somewhere. I said; excuse me sir, Brother Roberts wants me to read something. Brother Roberts, I don’t have a clue what this says here. Give it to me, after we get through. Hit me again. He said; study it and tell me what it says. I said; sir, I’m so sorry, but he’s insisting. Brother Roberts, I don’t know what it says. I said; would you please tell me, we’re not finished with this meeting, what does this say? He said; that’s Oral Roberts spelled backwards. I said; that’s what you’ve

been working on the last 20 minutes? He said; I had to get it right. I said; are we boring you? He said; you bore me, he bores me, everybody in this room bores me. I said; why do we bore you? He said; you think too small.

He said; we can’t build that facility on the acreage you’re asking for, it’s not enough. This is my project, but all of a sudden we can’t do it! He said; ask him for ten times that amount of land, we need ten times that amount of land. I said; well, I feel led of the Lord, to have you tell him, we need ten times more. He said; we need ten times that amount of land, if you want the clinic, give us ten times that amount of land. He said; yes sir, anything you want sir, yes sir! Then he looked at me and said; don’t you ever think small around me again! Oh, that was a life’s lesson that was a major life lesson to me. I still have that serviette, with Oral Roberts spelled backwards on it. When I’m in meetings, with staff or Pastors and they go to talking small and thinking small, I’ve learned to write Jerry Savelle backwards and give it to them and just walk out.

Why? Because the Spirit of Glory is on me, the Lord of Glory is in me, the Father of Glory, is my Father. I don’t want to think small again for the rest of my life. Hallelujah. And neither should you! Come on give the Lord, your best shout! Stand up, if you will please. Hallelujah!
