Well, hello again, everybody. What a wonderful time, we’ve had in the sounds and the songs that the Lord is giving Heritage Worship, giving us at Heritage of Faith. The title of my message this morning is Bold to Stake Your Claim, and it is part seven of Having Therefore Boldness series that the Lord has asked me to share with you this year.
So, do you remember when I told you about what the Lord said to me about the faithful tither? That He knows us by name, and He knows us personally, and that we have rights as tithers. Well, this preceded that. It was on the same day that the Lord gave me this, on the 18th of April, Saturday 2020, it’s day 23 of the lockdown. He said this to me: Sharon, today the Lord asked me to bring it to you, He asked me to bring this to you. You have every right, as a tither to put in a claim for any loss suffered during this time. I tell you, when God makes a statement like that to you, all you want to do is just fall on your face and worship and say thank You, my God, my God.
You have every right, Heritage of Faith, believer, you have every right to put in a claim for any loss suffered during this time. He gave me Proverbs 6:31 which I will read to you later, and He confirmed it with Exodus 22 verse 7. Then He said this to me, I would if I were you, as part of your experience, in continued momentum of My Supernatural Increase, coming through the New Open Door, restoration and compensation. The enemy may not, this was His tone with me, the enemy may not, under any circumstances. The blood of My Son secured your New Covenant land of Goshen living in this world.
I overcame the world. Jesus deprived this world of its power to harm you. He conquered it for you. The cross of Christ has force and power. You are daily being saved by it. And then He said this; Your loss was nailed to the cross and you’re the boss. Your loss, any loss that we might suffer during this time, was nailed to the cross and we’re the boss which means we’re in charge.
He continued saying this; I spoiled principalities and powers ranged against you. I made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in the cross. Then He said this; Write down what you deem to be loss. Example, this is so personal. For example, loss of revenue, income, loss of productivity, progress, any momentum, all momentum. For example also the Camp Meeting event. If you want to put in a claim for the loss that you suffered there. Loss of the marvellous assembly, through social distancing. Any loss, any ground lost in education, Bible Schools, in music ministry. Progress you would have made during this time. That you didn’t make, even if you think you could have made progress, and even though you’ve made some, even if you think you could have made more, put in a claim, put in a claim.
He said, You have every right to put in a claim for any loss suffered during this time. Write it down, He said. Even the very threat of it, what the adversary meant for evil. I have turned it, I Am. I know I’ve already greatly helped you by putting you in a favorable position. I knew what was coming. Yes, and I have used it to my full advantage in tremendous ways, but don’t let him get away and get off with anything, not one thing.
So, that’s how He put it to me. So when I came upstairs from my prayer time, I said to Pastor John, “This is what the Lord has said.” We immediately got into agreement, that any loss that we perceived, that we have suffered, we started to declare. We started to lay claim. Put in our claim.
I’m just going to share with you this revelation that God, part of the revelation that the Lord gave me, quite long ago, about putting in a claim for loss. 1He who dwells… the scripture in Psalm 91 verse 1 says, 1He that dwelleth… he that dwelleth… in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1 KJV).
In this verse, the word dwelleth, actually means to stake your claim. That’s what that word means. He that dwelleth, means he that, imagine this; he that stakes his claim in the secret place of the most High, God, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And so, in Psalm 91 verse 2, it shows us how to stake our claim. 2I will say of the Lord, I will say of the Lord He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” (Psalm 91:2 KJV). So, you stake your claim with your mouth. You stake your claim with your mouth.
God will turn natural things around, so that you will come through completely whole and completely blessed. Right. Joseph was somebody who did that. Joseph, in Genesis 49:22-26 and you can go and read that for yourself was saying, El-Shaddai will bless me abundantly and powerfully with all kinds of prosperity. I will be prosperous in every direction that I take, because He is the God of abundance. He agreed with God and spoke it out loud. I will say of the Lord.
I am going to give you an example now, I know, I have shared this with you before, but it is important for me at this time that God wants you to know that you can put in a legal claim with Him for any loss that you have suffered at this time, in any area. I want to give you an example of how God, had me do this. At a time in our lives around about 2004, when Pastor John and I, and our whole family, the whole Bendixen family here in South Africa, suffered severe loss on every front. That was 2004. In fact, before I go there, I’m going to go here; in 2003, the Lord had Brother Jerry bring a very strong word. That’s before the loss, hit our lives. God had already given us immunity through a very powerful word that we heard at a minister’s conference with Brother Jerry in 2003. I’m going to just read extracts from that message.
His message, this message in 2003 was called, Moving the Hand of the Lord. Here is Brother Jerry’s teaching. As he began to minister, the Holy Spirit said to me, You get your pen, and you get your things out, and you make notes of this message, because God knew that 2004 was coming, and that I would need this word to stand on for my life, and my family’s lives.
The Lord said; My people are letting their adversary get away with too much, and they’re not making him pay for what he’s put them through. They are letting him get off too lightly. This is what God said to Brother Jerry to say to us. This word still stands today for you and I, Heritage of Faith, member of this family. My people are letting their adversary get away with too much and they are not making him pay for what he has put them through. This thing that has happened in this time, that we’re in now has not happened because God has been in it. It is our adversary that has put, attempted to put us through things, and we are to make him pay, we are not to let him get off lightly.
He said this, You are letting the devil off too lightly. You are not making pay for damages. So, he spoke about the Hand of God, the Hand of God. He speaks of God’s power, expressed in judgment to one party and it speaks of God’s power expressed in blessing, to another party.
I’m going to just read this to you. Exodus 3:20-21, 20And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: so that you can see judgement towards the adversaries of God’s people in judgement, and after that he will let you go. 21And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty (Exodus 3:20-21 KJV). God was passing judgment on Pharaoh. to bless His people.
You shall not leave empty, this is still Brother Jerry’s message. Some of you are just wanting out of Egypt, but you’re not taking what belongs to you. Make him pay for damages. Make him pay so much that you’re get too costly for him to mess with. I was so delighted that I could immediately put my claim in that God reminded me; anything, any loss during this time of lockdown – write it all down and put your claim in quickly. Put your claim in with your mouth quickly. He knew that I understood His principle here.
Make him pay for damages, make him pay so much that you get too costly for him to mess with. We are God’s collection agency. We are to collect for damages. I will number one. I will stretch out my hand and smite Egypt. He will let you go, I will give you favour in their sight and you shall not go empty handed. That’s God’s will that is God’s heart. He is revealing His heart and He’s intent to His people.
So, the hand of the Lord was in judgment against Egypt to smite them to let His people go but that wasn’t enough for God. He insisted damages got paid, for all the years that His people were in slavery. He let them go with a Mighty Hand, with all the damage done them, paid for. Then this is what Brother Jerry said at that time. Satan’s works, Satan’s assignments, Satan’s operations, against the people of God cannot stand nor will it succeed when the hand of God has been manifested. Because the scripture he read was Exodus 13 and verse 14 says, 14And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the Lord brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage (Exodus 13:14 KJV). Exodus 15 verse 6 was another scripture he brought. 6Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. (Exodus 15:6 KJV) That is His right hand.
Okay. So what is? So, here is a scripture that He used that was very powerful to me. Isaiah 45:11, 11Thus say the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. Ask Me of things to come, concerning my sons and concerning the work of My hands command ye Me (Isaiah 45:11 NKJV). Command ye me. So, what does this mean to command the work of the hand of God? “Do I have the right?” He asked that question to command God to do anything?
Then, at that time I wrote in my notes, Sharon, yes, come to My throne of grace boldly, command My hand on the basis of My Word. Command, you can find a promise, you can find anything in the Word of God, you can come to Me and command My hand to move on the basis of what you find in My Word. Here is Brother Jerry saying this now, so what God is saying is this, very important these words; they saved our lives. Well, I tell you, I got a hold of them and I spoke them, and I’m still speaking for the full restoration of my family to this day.
Loose Me on your behalf, give Me an order, give Me the mandate to carry out for you, give Me opportunity to bring judgement on your adversary and blessing on you. And then, He said this. Give me an assignment, an appointment, give Me a commission, if you do, if you do, I will bring judgement on your adversary, make him pay damages for what he has put you through and bless you, tell My people, and He is still saying the same things today; He has not changed from this 2003 word that He brought to Brother Jerry. It’s as applicable today.
Tell My people, don’t just pray for Me to bring deliverance from the attacks, but commission Me to bring judgment on one who attacked them and declare this, now God stretch forth Your hand against him. Now God, stretch forth Your hand against him. Once you have written down, all the loss that you perceive, that you have suffered during this time. You put in your claim, and you say to the Lord. Now, God stretch forth Your hand against them. Loose me, he said. Give me an assignment. Don’t limit me by not doing this. I’ll be your legal representative in this case. I’ll pass judgment, I’ll pass sentence, I’ll get damages, I’ll see to it that you get overflow compensation by adding to your prayer.
Now God stretched forth Your hand against him. Appoint me to punish and penalize him for what he has put you through, and I will force him to compensate you for the damage he has caused. Proverbs 6:30-31, 31If a thieve be found he shall restore seven-fold, he shall give all the substance of his house. Satan is a thief, he has been let of too easy make him pay back seven times. He shall give all the substance of his house. If you command me the works of my hands, I’ll throw the book at you adversary (Proverbs 6:30-31 AMPC).
We have been walking away without collecting for damage, when the hand of the Lord was loose upon Egypt in Moses day, they were not only forced to let God’s people go but they were also forced to pay damages for a period of years. God is telling us today, it is time to collect for damages.
I’m just going to briefly give you some examples of at that time in 2004, the things that I wrote down of what was loss for me, everything spiritual, everything relational, everything emotional, everything financial, everything physical in my health, everything creative and productive, everything resourceful and entrepreneurial, everything. All of my spirituality, all of my prosperity, all of my productivity, in ministry and very personally Lord. All of the relationships that have been affected here. I, thank You Father.
And I wrote down those words that Brother Jerry gave, and I said this, Father I’m not letting my adversary get away with anything. I started to do that in 2008. I’m not letting my adversary get away with anything. I’m making him pay for what he has put me and my family through. I loose You on my behalf. I give You a mandate to carry out for me. I give You opportunity to bring judgement on my adversary and blessing on us, Father. I commission You to bring judgement on the one who attacked us. I say now God, stretch forth Your hand against Him. I loose You with my voice, Father, with my words, and my faith and my praise, Lord. I give You an assignment and I do not limit You in this. You pass judgement, You past sentence, You get damages, You see to it that we get overflow compensation.
Thank You that You are forcing Him to compensate for the damage he has caused. He is a thief, he shall pay back seven times what he has stolen. I command You the works of Your hands and you throw the book at him, Lord. Thank You, Lord. I praise You for the works of Your hands, that angels are now released to go to work on my behalf.
I could go on and on and on with this, but I think you got the message. I think you’ve got the message – you can write down and state your claim and be bold to state your claim, precious Heritage of Faith people.
Thank you for listening to this message and this exhortation and for harkening to it and for pleasing the Father’s heart, who so much wants to recompense you for any loss and being obedient to this word and believing it, in Jesus’ name.
