Launching something fresh/new: You are launching something fresh and new in me as I receive the words that God has given Pastor Sharon.
Mandate and being spiritual: “What is the point of being a Christian?” “To be spiritual.” “What’s the point of being spiritual?” “It’s so that I can access everything that heaven has and bring it down on earth, in my personal and in my corporate life.” I’m supposed to live heaven on earth. It comes through the way of the Spirit. My spirituality is my choice. To be spiritual means that I receive words from Jesus, I’m abiding and I’m intimate with Him in my personal life. I want to be with Him. I want to be in fellowship with Holy Spirit constantly, who fills me. As I engage in that intimacy with God – through the Word, talking to Him or in prayer, as I assemble with the brethren to hear the messages from the messenger, I’m obedient to what He is saying and Spirit life flows. It doesn’t flow different for someone else than for me.
How’s God going to be with us now, at this time and manifest Himself? I’m ‘hungry for God’ (Revelation 21:3-5 AMPC). When He’s with us. He wipes away our tears and delivers us from every death and makes all things new. This is happening now. (Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV).
The messenger’s part: God sends a messenger (Acts 22:14-15 AMPC). God calls messengers – Pastor John and Pastor Sharon to know His will, to see Him – to be with Him, to hear His voice from His own mouth and a message from His own lips and be a witness unto all men of everything that they’ve seen and heard. (1 Thessalonians 2:4-8 TLB), “If you don’t believe this, you don’t believe God’s Bible, you don’t believe His word”.
Two key turning point messages and how to be planted (Mark 4): “Two key turning point messages that God gave us all this year, was from Pastor Christi and Pastor Garth”. I put my foot in every message, I’m planted because I grow root from seed – the Words of God that the Pastors bring to me. “There’s seed in every word, every message! There’s at least Word-seed, there’s at least Scripture for you to sow; even if you don’t want to go with the statements we make, you can at least take the Scripture brought to you for the week for seed”. I’m accountable for every message I did not hear because I was supposed to hear. God planted me here. I can’t say I didn’t know. I could have known.
My part: “The majority of the Body of Christ do not live in this Scripture and yet it’s a major to God because it’s God’s way”. (Hebrews 13:17 AMPC). God has lead me to true spiritual leaders who will not abuse their authority, but will tell me the truth and not change the message for me because they’re interested in my spiritual welfare, my spiritual development, spiritual growth and will not make it easy on my flesh.
House of prayer and prayer connect groups: I’m part of the house of prayer, I recognize this is what Jesus wants; not what Pastor John wants but what Jesus wants. In this house, we speak to God and He speaks to us. When I don’t go to prayer connect group, I don’t understand what I’m not going to get because I’m not there and that I’m not interacting with the rest of Body as we pray and speak to God together about the Nation, Brother Jerry, Pastor John and each other. This is a level of discipleship learnt through human interaction, relationships and us living together, by the Word of God.
The peoples part: (1 Thessalonians 2:11-13 TLB), Pastor John and Pastor Sharon talk to me as a father and mother. I don’t think of the words they speak as being just their own, I accept what they say as the very Word of God – which, of course, it is. It’s the Word that I receive and believe that changes me. This is the only way I grow spiritually – by the Word of God. I receive it, hear it, love it, obey it, weed it, water it, harvest it and grow. It’s my guaranteed spiritual growth for all the days of my life. I’ve got a messenger with a message preparing me to be part of a people and a person for the Lord. There’s nothing more exciting for me than to grow and mature with other people that God has put in my life.
Fellowship vs friendship: (Acts 2:42 NKJV), Fellowship is very different to friendship. People in the Church want to have friendships like the world. Fellowship is: I’m in the apostles’ doctrine, I’m in his instruction, I fellowship with you as I fellowship with the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Word. It’s so much higher. We encourage each other in faith and fellowship by the Word.
Fear of the Lord: (Acts 2:42 AMPC, TLB), There can be no fear of the Lord if I’m not in the Apostles’ doctrine. I continue steadfastly in the Apostles’ instruction, in breaking of bread, prayers, prayer connect group and the fear of the Lord will be seen in me. I come to attend, at least every Sunday. This is God’s pattern and way, not man’s way and I live this way. I never stop attending until my last breath. I envision the rest of my life like this with joy, it’s not drudgery to me. There is a security and a stability in this.
I learn from Pastor John and Pastor Sharon: I learn how to pray, live for God successfully, live by faith from Pastor John and Pastor Sharon’s lives (not from the internet – Googling it). They are an example to me. We’re walking this Christian life together. Passing what they’ve learnt to me, to my children, and I’m passing it to my children. (Isaiah 59:21AMPC). I pass ‘way of life’ from the Bible down. This kind of revelation knowledge of how I can live in the order of God is not learnt from a set of teachings, this is a level of discipleship that is learnt through human interaction.
What is our message? House of prayer, house of faith, house of praise, and rejoicing with many other things thrown into that mix. We become by the messages, we become people of praise, rejoicing, faith and prayer. It’s not just what we do – it’s who we are now. We are becoming a people prepared for the Lord.
Perfect environment: We’re on this journey together. If I’ve only come in now, I’ve come into an environment and a tribe that’s already adopted certain characteristics and sharp features. I come into conversation and the way we speak quickly. This is the perfect environment for a baby Christian to be born into. We know who we are, where we are going, what to do, we’re following the Word, we do this, we’re like this, we speak like this, we don’t do that; we don’t talk like that. God loves it. He loves us.
Transferring – High praise: “It is essential for My people to be entering into high praise; experiencing high praise,” and I’m going to teach you what high praise is”. The “Tehillâh” – the high praise of God, is what He inhabits. It is needed for victory, along with prayer and faith. “When Pastor John said, “The big thing’s coming” – and He said yes it’s Me; it’s Me, I’m coming”.
