MESSAGE HIGHLIGHT:

Walk in the Light – Ps Sharon Bendixen (WTB)

God will send a messenger with a message, but then He seeks for a people who will believe the message and move with the message.  The Holy Spirit will bring light from the Word to you personally. Then there is a part of our lives that has to be connected to Jesus’ ascension gifts that He gave to men, to get that light that you were supposed to get where you’re supposed to be planted. (Ephesians 4).

It is the mandate (Acts 26:13-18; 2 Corinthians 4:5-7; Proverbs 4:18)  – the Word of God comes to you to turn you from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God. God wants you turning from darkness to light in every area of your life. Every time Pastor John comes with a revelation it’s life streaming, light beaming – so that you may turn from darkness to light. There is no limit to how much light you can walk in. That’s why it’s so important for you and I to fully use what we’ve got. If we walk in the light then more is going to come and our path is going to get brighter and brighter until the perfect day prepared. We can have as much light as we want, because God is light and in Him is no darkness (John 8:12 NKJV; 1 John 1:5 KJV).

This is the time we are living in. 4 So they shall avert the ear, and [as a result] they shall receive a moral twist which will cause them to believe that which is fictitious (2 Timothy 4:4 WUEST). We cannot live however we want to live. We cannot choose to live as we wish to live (and there not be a penalty). We cannot say, “I don’t need to have anybody that is in authority over me” (Hebrews 13:7). God plants you as He chooses (Deuteronomy 12) and it is not, “I go where I want to go, for my preference, my convenience and my comfort and not for conviction and planting by God”.

Conversely – when we do choose to live as He shows us to live, there is great reward (temporal and for eternity).

9 But you are a chosen race, God has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC). Greek word thaumastos (marvellous) means: wondered and marvelled at, excellent; passing human comprehension, astonishing, causing amazement joined with fear, extraordinary, striking, surprising, it embraces the miraculous, something powerful and glorious.

That’s the light of our God!

Confession (I say): The heavenly light of Your Word is what I desire, Father. I love Your light. I’m Your disciple, Lord and I’m following You, and I’m walking in the light, and I’m not stumbling about in darkness. I’m expecting You, Lord to give me the light, because I come into the light. I want every darkness dispelled. As I walk in this light, more light comes.

God is our Father and He loves us – we are His beloved.

2Beloved, I, wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1-4 KJV & MSG) –  week after week after week of your life. Greek word, eudoo (prosper) means: to prosper, to be prospered (in whatever, in material things); the continuous tense suggests the successive circumstances of varying prosperity as week follows week; to render successful; to thrive; to increase to make gain. It comes from the Latin word prosperāre which means to cause to succeed and favour to come on you.

He restores your soul. How? With the Word of God – by renewing your mind.

For instance, God speaks to us about finances.

Luke 12:13-34 (NLT); James 4:13-15 (MSG); James 5:1-6 (TLB); 2 Corinthians 8:9 (AMPC); 1 Timothy 6:9-10; 16-19 (AMPC).

God has made a way for you to prosper without loving it, but loving Him first. Not having confidence in our own wealth but having faith in God’s Kingdom ways of sowing and reaping and living by faith – the substance of things that we’re expecting, the promises of God that He makes to us in His Word.  Seeking God’s will for everything in our lives, “Not my will but Yours be done in everything we do”. Making our vapour count. Consecrating our lives to God, fearing Him first, involving Him in all of our money matters, honouring God with all of our substance.

You must make the switch from the financial system of the world to the financial system of the Kingdom of Light. You can live in the land of Goshen/living in a financial bubble (Exodus 9). You have to come out of darkness, because Babylon/the world system is falling and it’s crumbling (Revelation 18).

How?

Come into the Light (John 8:12 KJV; John 8:31 AMPC; John 12:36 AMPC).

130 The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:130 KJV).

How to: 10 With a heart you will believe and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10 NKJV) (your financial salvation, unto your health salvation, unto your relational salvation).

Make this choice in the highway of your heart, with your faith and with your mouth. Wake up in the morning and let the entrance of His Word bring light to your heart (present continuous tense: day-to-day and week-to-week). Fill yourself with the light of His Word every day, in every area of your life. Let His light in. Make a confession out of it and speak scripture.

For Example: Luke 12:15, I do not waste my money on fleshly, worldly pleasures. I’m a cautious spender, I spend with discretion and prudence. I’m economising all the time. I keep myself free from all covetousness, Father. I have no immoderate desire for wealth. I do not have a greedy longing to have more, for my life does not consist and derived from possessing overflowing abundance of that which is over and above my need.

Make your own confession for scriptures such as: Matthew 2:8; Hebrews 13:5; 1 John 2:15-7; Deuteronomy 8:18; 3 John 2; 2 Corinthians 8:9.

The entrance of His Word will bring you light:

  • of how good God is and that He wants His goodness running over you.
